When the assault scene start the aggressor stay idle forever. But I open the console I can see the name of the SL animation appearing on it. Then I close the console and everything goes as normal. This bug happened to me only after a framework update. Somebody has an clue about that? Whenever animation doesn't start (rare), I just press TAB to bring up the Items/map/etc menu and press TAB again to exit the menu. This triggers the animations to start for me. I have since installed the SKSE.INI that increases memory. Animations startup quicker it seems. Could be my mind playing tricks though.

I tried cleaning up the mod but I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what causes it. For me, instant CTD at start of animation was because I had Belt-Fastened Quivers installed. The skeleton didn't like the animations forced upon it. Removing BFQ fixed FNIS big time. I'm using vanilla skeletons, and everything just works now.

(Although getting raped as a VL only happens when I'm testing as a male, since there don't seem to be any female VL anims.) I was just thinking that this might be because I've only used console to give myself the Beast Form and Vampire Lord powers, rather than acquiring them in regular play. Maybe the related quests adds a tag or something to the PC that just using console commands doesn't? The script checks if the quests are running, it might be the problem. Looking for this Goubo! Hello, I've been trying some Skyrim "testing" lately - to test out changes to Apropos, and I use Defeat. I'm a long time user of Defeat, so hats off to you Goubo. Great mod. Lately (today), I can't seem to get my followers (2) to get beyond the knock-down state. When i search my Papyrus log for instances of "Defeat:" I see a lot of N - Distance reached, Begin the rape. But they tend to pop up and walk around and the nearby aggressors ignoring them for a while. Any ideas? Too much Script pressure? Thanks Gooser, well I must say I don't really get what's wrong in your log, looks normal to me except it looks like the sex scene last 5 seconds and apparently nothing happen. But I notice you try this with wolves, does it work when a wolf is not involved? Oh and about what magicrealm is talking about (in a very nice way I must say ) it seems that controls are not given back to the player after a scene if the struggle bar is disabled, it's a simple oversight in the script that will be fixed next version, for now just bear with the bar to get up it's not that hard, is it?

I'm one of those that hate QTE's as a rule, but I have to say that it does work rather well in Defeat

Also animations work when I use Matchmaker. Just for Defeat. Hell the robbery system works too!
LTD Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I got a glitch where burning damage killed an enemy just as the scene was about to start, I think just as the bar popped up. I could act, move around and swing weapons/cast spells, but I couldn't interact at all. The "use E to interact" thing didn't even come up. Clean up fixed it no problem and everything was fine after that. I just figured you might want to know, Goubo, so reporting it!

Vuulgar Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 This is easily one of the most used mods for me but the last few games I have used it I am not getting consistent triggers, sometimes i get knocked down but usually I am dying. Whether its by health, stamina from behind or large weapon stuns. I have used 3.3fixed for a while and my problem has only showed recently. The last new game I started had nothing more than sexlab and this with creatures support. After a clean install didnt work I am not even sure what to try at this point.... EDIT I did a clean save and moved Defeat very close to the bottom of my load order and so far every save I do this with seems to work.
evlokadottr Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I had old versions but Steam insisted on installing some new version of Skyrim, and then I had to install a new version of everything else. My problem is that now, as soon as I go in to the menu to mess with the mod in a new game, it starts off as "deactivated." I have to activate it and tell it to install, and exit out of the menu. As soon as it is installed, my character is stuck in place, I guess bobbing up and down, like maybe running in place. :/ I can't figure out why! *edit* Ohhhhh heh, don't activate it before your hands are unbound! Hopefully it will work fine from here on out. *edit 2* sadly I cannot seem to use weapons or spells.

You have fallen into the single most common error in Skyrim modding, you failed to run the FNIS User Generator Program after adding or removing a mod containing new animations. The FNIS documentation warns you to run the program but everyone seems to forget that bit.

It says in your MCM that they are only suppose to be knocked down for 30 sec but it was happening for me that they wouldnt get up until I finished combat no matter how long that took. I think though I have gotten it to work properly by disabling DAYMOYL follower tracking. I havent tested it a lot but the last battle I was in they finally got up part way through the battle and came to help me.
afa Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 DA makes it so that followers once knocked down won't get back up until combat is finish. You can sort of force (bug?) them to get back up by keep healing them with magic. (they will fall down again, so you have to do it a few times)

Or their stamina is completely gone. Also try healing them.

Getting robbed and then left for dead, or waking up in an inn is IMHO 100 times better than reloading the last quicksave. So thanks for this mod!! This is not a complaint, just something that happened in my game today that I thought was cool: So I'm playing the "Interesting NPC's mod, and there is this quest where I have to kill an evil wizard/necromancer. No problem. Well, I'm also playing with the Defeat mod. During the fight, the evil necromancer spawns a Dremora Lord, so now I'm out numbered. It is a fierce and tense and Epic battle. I get hit by a blast of ice storm, and then the Dremora hits me, and i go down. Dremora walks over to my character and starts pulling off her gear. (I have it set to Steal the weapons and Armor, because it is always fun to start over and gear up for a rematch.) So the Dremora gets my main weapon and most of my gear. It is looking bad for our hero! But then his time runs out and he dissipates - returning to the realms of Oblivion or where ever these demons go when they are not on Skyrim. But he takes my gear with him!! Fortunately for me, I was able to quickly summon a bound sword, and killed the evil wizard before he could conjure up any more nastiness... And I completed the quest. But it was a tense moment of "Oh snap!!" and then the hero won - but had to walk back out of the necromancer' base, wearing only the black robes that I pulled off one of the bad guys. No more high-smithed and enchanted gear until I could get back home and make a new set. Just thought that was awesome and wanted to share.

Other mods and animation are working fine (I am using random attack, aroused, romance, dangerous night, spectator crowd0.91 amurous Is there a mod that can be conflicting with that ? like spectators crowd ? Mods are sorted using LOOT Any hints ? ( for people having issues with followers on the ground on the posts above, hit the clean up in the option that usually fix it , even when follower are stuck to a location where a rape was supposed to happen but got interupted, hitting " clean " fix it)
Slorm Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 @Goubo Suggestion for next upgrade, could the time limit on robbed event have a slider so it can be set by the player. 3 days seems far too long for me personally so a facility to change it would be a nice addition to the mod. EDIT: If it could be done by hours rather than days then that would be perfect (say a range of 0 - 120 where 0 means the items are always lost) EDIT2: One of the things Deviously Helpless does is the bandits will spend some of your gold. If you had an hour timer then for each hour passing hour an equivalent amount of gold would be lost. For example, say you had the Robbed limit set to 24 hours and was robbed of 1000 gold.If it then took you 12 hours before you completed Robbed then you would only recover 500 gold. This would be because your attacker would have had the time to spend the gold, gamble it away etc.

Run FNIS again, place the cursor into the text box where the results display and select all of the text in that box, then copy it to the clipboard so you can paste that text in a message here. Preferably inside [ spoiler ] [ /spoiler ] tags since not everyone reading the messages cares to scroll past large bodies of text.
