userdude Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 During necrophilia, the corpse flickers between the original position and the sex position during sex. Is this happening to anyone else? It also happens to me , more of a problem with SL 1.58b. Try using the hotkey to change actors position, you'll loose the freecam option momentarly, but it should work. at least , it worked for me
Cymri Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Threshold aggro side out of combat from behind says it is supposed to be 100% but nvr works. No aggro from behind seems to work for me in or outta combat, and I tried remap keys. Anything other than just come up behind and knock em on the noggin I'm supposed to be doing? Even games from b4 I had mods aggro nvr works.
cleverlittlefox Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Okay I give up with this mod. I've tried everything to get it to work and I'm fresh out of ideas. Can someone help me? I've searched and searched this topic and haven't found a solution. With this Defeat mod, no enemy will get me into a "bleedout" state. I'm instantly killed. The only time I've gotten close is when I have a mod that makes me essential (like Alternative Death, but even that had it's own problems) and even then not one person started any of the animations. I've ran FNIS every time and that still hasn't helped. The only mods I have from Lover's Lab are Sexlab, Defeat, and Dangerous Nights at the moment. Am I missing a mod? I have all the requirements. I'm not even sure where to start to get this to start working but I've spent hours...

jfraser Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 To Mod Author: First off I'd like to say that Defeat is an excellent mod. Easily the best of the combat sex mods. The only reason I use Submit is because of the auto submit feature that keeps me from having to worry about giving up in combat. BTW, I suggest that you add an auto-submit like feature to Defeat. That would make it pretty much perfect. To everyone: For those who are having problems getting animals to work with Defeat. You might want to try adding Aroused Creatures. Which makes calmed creatures have sex with you. Word of advice if you try to use this solution. Change the engage radius. If not then you'll just be walking and randomly have a sex scene start with an animal. I have mine at like 64 which is about 3 or 6ft according to the scale given in the mod. There is an option to not include creatures calmed by Defeat, Submit, or Devious something or another. Make sure to leave those options unchecked or uncheck those options as the entire point is when the creatures are calmed, by those mods, sex initiates. The main problem I have found with this solution is that if you set the distance too close then the animal has to be right on top of you when it's calmed in order to for it to engage. However, if you're in a cave with Drugar and they are just chilling out, they will automatically have sex with you because the radius is too big. Which is why I have mine set to 3ft. BTW, you might want to turn off horses in the animations options on your animal mods, unless you want to have sex with a horse every time you get near it. Using Defeat and Aroused Creatures in combination works relatively well. It's not perfect, but they weren't designed together so... To Mod Author: If you want to forgo animal support and rely on this mod instead, I would suggest if possible to tag the "knocked down" state as a "kneeling" state because there is an option on Aroused creatures to only engage people who are "kneeling". Defeat does have an auto-submit feature. Just make sure you enable it.

That did not work for me, and more than a week I'm trying to get this mod to work, but nothing in the end I managed to break even Sexlab. Uninstalled all the modern Sexlab in confident expectation of updates. This also applies to other mod. However, a sincere thank you for all your work.

And when I did go into bleedout, they would keep attacking me instead of starting any animations. I've changed my defeat settings so many times, but at the moment I completely reinstalled just Defeat and Sexlab and Dangerous Nights, so it's all default at the moment.

I've changed my defeat settings so many times, but at the moment I completely reinstalled just Defeat and Sexlab and Dangerous Nights, so it's all default at the moment. Couple thoughts about Death Alternative. Hopefully one of these will help: 1. Death Alternative was 'recovering me too quickly' too, but I don't know if in the same way you're talking about. I would drop into bleedout, then pop back up in a couple seconds to full health. In this scenario, I traced the problem down to an in-combat health regen from another mod (SPERG to be exact) and DAYMOYL would mis-interpret the couple health I'd recovered as nothing short of a miracle and help me the rest of the way to full life. Once I disabled the in-combat health regen, DAYMOYL started working correctly and would keep me down for the count so Defeat could kick in properly. 2. Defeat would also sometimes take its time to deal with me by having the NPC walk back to its spawn point first, even when bleedout was working correctly. Two possible solutions (both have worked and just require finding what you like better). Either increase DAYMOYL's bleedout time to 30 seconds, or setting Defeat to use No Transition. When I didn't do this, sometimes an enemy would decide to return to its spawn point first before walking back to deal with me. Personally, I don't like 'No Transition' because it doesn't seem to turn off combat for the other enemies, even with the STOP COMBAT setting under 'general', but that may be related to a different conflict I haven't tracked down yet.
orangy Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I almost got Defeat + Death Alternate to work. I go into combat, I die and enter Death Alternate bleedout mode. Then the enemy (bandits) begins to assault me. Once finished, I just drop to the floor in fetal position (was I suppose to get up?) unable to do anything. Then the enemy just attacks me again killing me. Which enters bleedout mode than once bleeded out, went into blackout mode.   Defeat never let me get up after assault to run away, is this intentional? I think the problem lies in Defeat where I would just sit there after assault, unable to do anything. Could one of the other mods cause it? I'm using nearly every sexlab mod here.
Deadbrother Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 so I was searching why defeat was not working (Characters just stare at each other) and I noticed something in the papyrus log : Papyrus Loading File: ../SexLab/AnimationProfile_1.json Fail Papyrus Loading File: ../SexLab/AnimationProfile_1.json Fail EmptyEmpty Loaded file: ../SexLab/AnimationProfile_1.json Loaded file: ../SexLab/AnimationProfile_1.json Anyone know what it means and if it would help to fix the problem ?

Thank you for the reply. I had reinstalled all mods with a fresh install and it seems to have helped a bit. I think now my only issue is script lag issue. 1. That was exactly my problem! I'll try to see if any mods I have has in-combat health but off the top of my head, I don't think I have any combat mods but Dance of Death installed (and that's just animations for killcams). But thanks for the idea. The issue I have now is that happens, but for some reason, my health will freeze, they will beat me a few more times, and then I'd drop down. 2. This also happens to me. I found I could start the animation each and every time by just going into my menus. After three seconds, I would hear the sound of my gear being removed and the animation would start as soon as I leave the menus. I already have Defeat set to No Transition but I'll also three bleedout to 30 seconds. I had it that way before, but I think it caused some problems. Thanks for the help! The only issue I do have now (other than looking into what you suggested) is most likely script lag and I have no idea what to do other than remove script heavy mods.
Justoutthere Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Don't know if this has been fixed as I skipped a few pages but a simple solution to the "drop worn armoUr" issue perhaps. Step 1: identify worn armour Step 2: unequip worn armour Step 3: Drop 1 copy of worn armour type This way you will I believe unequip and drop the armour you are wearing, and if you have another copy of the identical armour in your inventory it will drop one of them,it doesn't matter which one tho . If this was already fixed Oops, my bad for not reading all the replies
Formion Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Ok, I see lenty of people have problems with Defeat. Which I don't understand. I mean really, Doing a clean install, and the mod works perfectly. Granted, I have not tested Companion commands yet, but everything else seems to be working fine. I would like to make special notice of the knockdown mechanic due to heavy weapons. That part is pure genius, and something I would like to see in the game even without the sex mods. It jsut adds that more suspence in the fight, if there is a chance that that bandit with the giant warhammer has a chance to knock you down even without taking you to 0 HP. There is only one issue I noticed, but it is a minor one. I had igilance the dog with me and he got a bandit down and started raping her. As he did I got a message "You are being dry-humped!" I wasn't. I checked. Excellent mod.
galgat Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I had not problems with this last update, every animation fell into place, and it worked very well. This is one if not the best of the agressive mod's Out there, is still a main install for me with lovers Lab mod's. all the others are great too, but I would drop them all, and keep this one if I had to choose. 1 Of course that does not include the others I would not want to lose, as in SOS, arousel, and a few others I would consider more like Immersion improvements. 2. I find SD is also one I very much enjoy, but due to the warning, I never turn it loose on my main save, and that of course keep's it just one step behind this one. 3. I like most all of the DD line of mod's, but they have ways of breaking, or taking immersion from other mod's, and they even tend to break each other, because I guess the Slot dependancy is burdensome to allow for constantly in all mods, and removing items in one DD mod will break quest's, and ruin functionality of other DD Mod's. They are very fun though.
lil.pipsqueak Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 @vixystar Glad it's working better. For script lag, I recommend checking this out: http://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/265iii/script_bloat/ For me, it offered the best script latency results without causing other problems.

Goubo Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 K return from a little break. Thanks for your kind messages, nice to read something else than the description of a problem. I've seen some people having the "press x to resist" message getting stuck on the screen again... omg broken function of skyrim, omg. If you experience this bug, know that there is none way that I know of to fix it other than loading a previous save, be careful. Wierd that I never seen this bug on my part though... make sure you clean save properly when you uninstall/reinstall the mod. galgat Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 I did run into one problem, I am not sure why. 1. I go to the MCM, and disable attacks on the player. 2. but they still happen. I am not sure if this stems from your mod or daymoyl 3. was wondering if you knew. 4. only way I found to stop the Defeat attacks was to disable the entire mod. 5. Not complaining, I probably caused it somehow, but was wondering if you might know what i needed to do. other than disable entire mod. as there are times when I don't want the defeat attacks to happen.

johnnyan Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 It seems that I am one of the unfortunate people that just can't make this mod work. All requirements are there but things just fight and die. Also, matchmaker works. Tested on vanilla install, can I debug this somehow ?
