Just wanted to mention the same issue that a few others are having. Stuck in the sitting position after sex.

No followers, just myself, in a dungeon with three Draugr. Everything started fine (took them a bit longer than usual to strip me), animations went great, no issues there. After the first two finished up with me, I was in a lying down position and the third one came over and started his thing next. Went fine, animation etc went great.

But once he was done, I got stuck in a sitting animation and the resist bar popped up. And that's it. I maxed out the bar, nothing happened. My character is stuck in the sitting animation and can't do anything. The Draugr don't do anything either, they just stand there.

Sound great, i'lll be installing this soon, to bad devious captures isn't compatible.

I did found a typo in the discription about the hea(l)th threshold.

Thanks for all your work. :D

Re: above endless loading screen problem--I ran BOSS and ReProccer, and that seems to have fixed it. I don't have any reports yet on whether the rest of it works, but the loading screen issue is gone. It was probably a load order problem.

I see, Is this happening everytime? don't forget to take a look at the papyrus log too, there is a lot a debug trace for the beta.

Ok i'll release a hotfix when I get home.

I can see what the problem is if you say that maxing the bar don't get you on your feet.

Hey, great work on the mod.

I was just wondering if anyone cold help me with a little bug i'm having. I dont think its a bug from Defeat mod but maybe?

When I lay defeated on the floor and I'm stripped everything suddently stops and everyone walks away. Can it be a problem with skeletons?

I got the newest Framework and defeat. But maybe I chose something wrong in FNIS? Been checking here and there and clean new game everytime, nothing.

Sexlab UtilOne does not work. If you are having trouble dying before sex, use SM Essential Player instead. Although I would love to see Defeat compatible with Death Alternative instead.

With the struggle bar using left and right strafe buttons, does this mean that it wont work with using a controller?

The script check your mapped keys for this, so I guess it works just fine with controllers.

Ok a few comments about the mod. For the most part it seems to work fairly well most of the time.

Getting stuck in the sitting position afterwards seems to happen for me about 75-80% of the time. It doesn't always happen but often.

Also even if one of the events are triggered like left in the wilderness etc, you have no player control. I had to open the console and type player.tc all 3 times it happened to regain control.

Finally the struggle bar is only visible briefly and then disappears most of the time, so you can't see your progress. Sometimes I made it and sometimes not.

I also have some questions/suggestions, when you select strip. Right now it seems the number of clothes you have just gives you a longer amount of time to work the bar. I assume this is correct?

Also when building the bar up to resist, is how fast it built it based on your two skills vs the two skills of your attacker? Meaning if the attacker has higher skills than you, then your resist will go up slower? If not I think that would be a good change. I would also say give the NPC's a bonus of 30-50% per enemy NPC in range in addition to the NPC aggressor. Making it very hard to resist several NPC's even weaker ones.

If so I have a suggestion I think would make it more interesting.

Instead of it giving more time have a set time, but it removes one clothing item at a time. So for example.

You get defeated. Enemies walk towards you, you have 3 seconds to build up the bar. If you fail your weapons and one armor piece is removed. Then the struggle bar reappears and you have chance to struggle some more, if you fail another armor piece is removed etc. Do this till the PC is naked. I would say make this a optional resist for those of us that want something a bit more involved.

If the aggressor has his two highest skill above your two chosen skills (in MCM) yes it will be harder to fill the bar, the gender gives also a little penalty. (Male vs female)

As for multiple aggressors penalty is something I'm going to include yes.

As for your suggestion I remember it, it is still in my head, that stripping resist system will be changed but without animation it would make it hard for the player to understand what's going on.

The struggle bar appearing briefly at the start of the scene is normal, if it's what your talking about, if you have no followers the script progress to the next step, if you have at least one follower still up you can fill the bar to get up before he is knock downed. (In all down scenario")

Ok no problem on the first two then.

For the struggle bar. I mean it shows up for like 1 second and then disappears. I barely have time to hit left and right. So even with out a follower can't you resist? If you can't then that might be the issue then. If that is the case I would say let people resist regardless if they are alone of not.

I tried it a couple of more times with your hotfix.

The report is mostly good.

The resist bar is the same, see my comment in the paragraph above.

When I get sent to a inn or wilderness etc. It now gives you control but can take up to 5-10 seconds before you can move. I am not sure if that is from script lag of loading a new place I have never been or what but it is slow as it is right now.

Other than that everything seems to be working as intended for the beta. So good work.

Ok so I found a bug that is follower breaking. I use 5 followers and have NPC Vs. NPC rape on at a 30% health threshold and set everyones fear to 0. When followers get raped, they run around doing nothing until I can fast travel. If followers rape someone, they run around doing nothing and cannot be traded with or dismissed. Also they no longer speak at all. I can get them to fight again after I fast travel, but everything else stays. My papyrus says nothing out of the ordinary and SKSE documented some errors, but thats from SM essential having icon errors with SKyui.

Edit: Upon exiting to desktop and reloading game, the followers talk and can be traded again.

Please consider re visiting the stripping calls   and reverting it back to old version!
as of now   it does not work properly  if "disabled" is chosen in MCM

try to rape a character which wear costume clothes and jewelry   that you provided ( not built in their code)  and does not have a mod controlling their default armor! ( like companion controllers and such.
what will happen is victim will get stripped permanently  even after animation is stopped!
if the victim has a pre set of armor hard coded into their code ... they will get stripped at start and then get redressed when  framework animations start!
what ever you had before to apply framework steps and revert to pre rape  armors worked fine!

I think I can guess what happened :)  if u uninstalled 4.x version correctley you have first disabled it ( uninstalled it) inside MCM then rebooted after removing the files!then shutdown and copied new defeat and enabled the .esp for it !  in this case ......

the mode installs itself with default config disabled all 3   parts (aggressor and victims and npc/npc)

when u get into mcm TO ENABLE any part or all of them nothing appears in options untill you exit MCM and wait a couple of seconds :)  it happened to me with other mods and with defeat too :)  try it maybe that works!

Thanks, but you missed the part where when I installed 5.1 originally thru NMM, the .esp file did not make it thru via that installation method.  I did not get the .esp file until I did a manual install, that populated the "disabled" fields and allowed option manipulation.

My questions are these: Am I supposed to have new .bsa/.bsl files or does 5.1+ use the old ones, because after uninstallation of the old version, those are dumped in the recycle bin and installing 5.1+ does not create new ones, at least not on my system.  Do these matter at ALL?

Posted

No, you need to delete evrything about the old version, especially the bsa, there is no bsa with the v5 yet. I don't know why you can't install it properly by nmm...

Nyinegy - Sorry but I'm not sure to understand what the problem is, I did not change the way armor are stripped.

Legendzerox - Send me your log when this bug happen please.

Gravemind - I'll take a look.

Nutluck - Yes you can resist without a follower, the bar that appear when you get knocked down isn't the resist bar, the resist bar appears only if you hold down left or right when the aggressor is near you, I'll prevent the bar from appearing if there is no followers, should be less confusing.
