Thanks goubo, I'll keep trying it.  Might just have to go back to the older version if this keeps up.  No idea why it isn't working. :(  Everything looks right.

 

I would suggest uninstalled Defeat, then going thru the data file to look for any stray defeat files and removing them all manually. Then log into skyrim and make a clean save with out defeat, once you have done that, Use NMM to reinstalled Defeat for you and go back into the game after you use FNIS and BOSS.

 

I installed the new Defeat with NMM and have had zero problems other then a few minor bugs with the mod, it works just fine and installed fine.

 

I think it might have just been a bad install for you, it does occasionally happen.

 

 

 

Ok, after this and installing the fix, my PC finally got raped by bandits according to my first settings where she couldn't be raped at all, no matter what. Now, when all others stopped to have a problem with "sitting" bug, since the fix fixed that, I'm having that problem. LOL. Four bandits raped my PC, and after they finished, the started "idle dancing" and my poor girl was just sitting on the ground. Let me mention, that I did all according to the book. None of the advices from this thread helped me to resolve this issue either. Am I cursed? What evil force doesn't let me use this long time waited mod. :dodgy:

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, just installed the mod this morning, however nothing seems to  happen. It's enabled, i get knocked down both on creatures/npcs but again, nothing happens .. the creatures run away, npcs stand still and do nothing just watch me being knocked down.

 

I've got the latest sexlab installed + this. Any tips on how to fix it? Defeat is the latest 5.1.1b or something. (i also got the fnis 5+, skse 1.7 and everything else required to make it work, previous version worked just fine wth an older sexlab/skse)

PS: something else kinda weird i noticed, even before knocking me down, a few wolves don't even attack me right now, it's like they're friendly or something.

im still having an issue with it taking forever to get into animations and not only that if i even get into any of them when it finishes no one wants to hurt me anymore im guessing counts me as a friendly to them.. any ideas? i would like help please :)

 

MissLeaches above said for them acting friendly to you after a rape you have to walk far enough away from them before they reagro.

 

Honestly not sure why it could be taking so long but it sounds like some part of the script is getting hung up. You might want to make a papyrus log, zip it and then upload it here.

I was just wondering what your plans were exactly for the Faction events? I'm rather intrigued as to what they will be, like is it going to be enslavement or something else? 

 

If you go back... well likely a lot of pages Goubo was asking for idea's about that and I posted a big list of them. He liked many of them so I would say check my list for a rough idea for what he has in mind. I am not saying he will do what I posted but that seems to be the way he is thinking.

Are the only rape animations for females (female aggressor) cowgirl? It's the only one I'm seeing

 

If your character is male that is the default one, you have to change it in sexlab if you want a strapon. Right now in sexlab that is the only two options for aggressive female on male.

Question when you "updated" Defeat for the sitting bug fix. Did you just DL the hotfix and install it over the top of defeat or did you uninstall defeat and reinstall the newest full version of defeat with the fix?

 

If you did the later I think I know what happened.

I installed Defeat over NMM, then fix, using NMM again. When asked to overwrite Defet, I confirmed. Then I continue with the rest -FNis and bla bla bla. :) If you have solution nutluck, please help.

I'd be interested to know how the new defeat selects companions for the companion collateral stuff, because currently I'm experiencing some side effects. I use the underground bathhouse mod as a sort of companion warehouse but I also have Selene as a companion.

 

I use the original setting instead of all down because otherwise having 2 companions and the dragonborn go down at the same time seldom happens

 

so I have two problems, Selene actually goes down into the bleedout animation, but she starts crawling away and trying to use her comnand key gives the message that she's not in your team, so clearly she's just crawling back home. After the assault is done using the command key work again so she's clearly put back in your team just fine.

 

The second problem is more interesting, I would have never noticed it without the help of sexlab util1 ,which has a candlelight spell cast  on sexstart, but it also has debug messaged informing you of the actors. So after the assault I was getting stuck sitting, like some people have reported, but I decided to wait an hour, see if that did anything and it sure did, as I soon got messages that Illia was getting molested by a bandit plunderer, which is weird, because she was halfway across the map just chilling in the bathhouse. On another test I got the same message about Alisha, who is the gate guard in the bathhouse.

 

Both characters where probably outside and currently in what is considered the skyrim cell of the bathouse, so when defeat looked for companions it must have found them, It's still weird and not right though, since I've never taken Alisha for a walk with me but she does use the vanilla follower system. But it does explain why I was getting stuck sitting, as the bandits were walking halfway across skyrim to assault them.

For a companion in bleedout you need to talk to them and calm them after the event. It should have a dialogue option when you talk to them for that.

 

As for the rest, I have a few questions.

1) When you say you have them stored at the bathhouse, are you just telling them to wait there or are you using the This is Your Home mod? In otherwords are the still counting as your active followers.

 

If yes then I think Defeat is searching for your followers and then trying to activate them but they are too far away of course so it gets stuck.

 

2) What follower mod are you using?

I haven't had any of previous Defeat version installed. Not for a long time. All present saves didn't have any of Defeat earlier.  Defeat 5B 1.1 was the first. LOL for the second question. You missed that I wrote how I used NMM in both cases. :)

Yes I knew you used NMM this last couple of times but you could have done it manually the first time, some time ago. I have run into that before so i always ask to confirm. There is no such thing as having to much information when trying to help someone else troubleshoot.

Yes if i enable submit for example everything works fine. And yes i did run FNIS after installing. The NPCs actually do undress me after they knock me down but nothing happens afterwards.

 

I even started a new game from scratch and still same thing happens. Any ideas?

For a companion in bleedout you need to talk to them and calm them after the event. It should have a dialogue option when you talk to them for that.

They're not stored there with a wait command but with the built in package of the underground bathhouse, you can dismiss them afterward and they will just go there and act with the bathhouse's AI package, they should not count as active followers, I also mentioned Alisha, who is a resident of that place, you can use the vanilla follow system to tell them to follow you, but I've never done that.

 

I'm pretty sure they're not in the currentfollowerfaction or anything similar since EFF doesn't detect them/.

 

As for 2, I'm using the Selene companion, she used to work just fine with defeat 4, but right now, she's not falling into the companion collateral stuff, she used to, but she still works fine for NPC vs NPC. I'm guessing she's not falling for the companion collateral stuff, because defeat is selecting the other victims instead.

 

In any case, turning companion collateral off seems to solve that problem for the moment.

 

I'm gonna run some tests indoors to see which effect in has if any, but those tests will have to wait until tomorrow.

Hmm doesn't work on a new game after installed Defeat? At this point your best bet is to post a copy of your papyrus log. This sounds like a actual bug with Defeat not calling something up then. There is a number of things it could be but at this point a papyrus log is your next step. Sadly I am still learning how to read them but others like Goubo could likely be able to spot any problems.

Yeah just wondering if the bathhouse AI package is keeping them tagged in one place as still your follower and that just so happens to be the place Defeat does it's check. Not saying it is, only saying it is theoretically possible and the first thing that comes to mind. I mean if they are not tagged as a follower still and are not actually there how would Defeat even know about them. Which is why I think in some way they are still tagged to your character somehow.

 

For Selene that actually makes sense, since Defeat 5 is a complete overhaul and it changes how it does a lot of stuff. That even more makes me think it is how defeat is checking for followers. Since Selene worked for you before but not this time.

 

My suggestion at this point is save the game right before a place where you can be attacked. exit the game and make sure your papyrus is on. Then go back and do the attack and after it bugs out with one of your followers close the game, get the papyrus log. Copy and paste it into word or something. then zip it and post the zip log here. Goubo likely would like to see that as it sounds like a actual bug.

How can i do that? Looked around and found that i should enable logging in skyrim.ini

and i just did that however in the logs folder i didn't find anything after closing down the game. Is there anything special i need to do besides that?

Yeah for some reason the first time i tried it it didn't do anything. Now it saved it. Also a weird *fix* i found was to press 0 to get the options and after hitting cancel the animation would start (character was already undressed and nothing was happening). So it's like the script gets stuck until i press 0 then it continues normally.

 

Edit: works both on NPCs and creatures after further testing (either that or it happens 90% of the time). Attached log.

 

Let me know if there's any other way i can make it cleaner, i reloaded like 8 times or something to check everything i could.

I actually ended up launching TES5EDIT to check on the bathhouse and all its NPCs are part of the currentfollowerfaction at rank 255, but illia and Lydia and countless others are also part of that of it at the same rank as per the skyrim.esm records. There's definitely something going on here, but again, turning off companion collateral takes care of it, so for anybody getting stuck, maybe check if you have the same problem I did. I'll work on getting a papyrus log up tomorrow.

I never use manual installation unless it is specified by mod author. Anyhow, I did install the main file, Defeat V5b1.1.rar, and afterwards, Defeat v5 b1 to b1.1.rar. Then NMM asked me if I want to overwrite existed one, I confirmed: Yes.

Everyone who's "stuck sitting" after sex": what you described sounds totally like Defeat's normal behavious. When that happens do you see a fat empty bar above your health bar? You're supposed to alternately press your strafe keys (default A and D) until it fills up. Once it's full your character should stand up
