Thanks goubo, I'll keep trying it.  Might just have to go back to the older version if this keeps up.  No idea why it isn't working. :(  Everything looks right.

No, you need to delete evrything about the old version, especially the bsa, there is no bsa with the v5 yet. I don't know why you can't install it properly by nmm...

 

Nyinegy - Sorry but I'm not sure to understand what the problem is, I did not change the way armor are stripped.

 

Legendzerox - Send me your log when this bug happen please.

Nutluck - Yes you can resist without a follower, the bar that appear when you get knocked down isn't the resist bar, the resist bar appears only if you hold down left or right when the aggressor is near you, I'll prevent the bar from appearing if there is no followers, should be less confusing.

 

Ok then thats a bug, if a aggressor is near me and I hold down the left or right key and then click back and forth. The bar doesn't always appear and often fades before I have time to click back and forth, lasting often a second or less time of the bar being visable despite me holding and click the buttons.

 

I would recommend having the bar appear during the resist phase and leave the bar there even if the player doesn't resist till the resist phase is over and the next phase starts.

I would suggest uninstalled Defeat, then going thru the data file to look for any stray defeat files and removing them all manually. Then log into skyrim and make a clean save with out defeat, once you have done that, Use NMM to reinstalled Defeat for you and go back into the game after you use FNIS and BOSS.

 

I installed the new Defeat with NMM and have had zero problems other then a few minor bugs with the mod, it works just fine and installed fine.

 

I think it might have just been a bad install for you, it does occasionally happen.

Thanks Nutluck, I tried what you said.  Manually got rid of anything "defeat" related.  Will not work on existing saves, clean or not.  Works fine on a brand new save though, which is okay.  It's a fun game to replay, so problem solved I guess. :)

 

Love the new options, thanks Goubo and everyone for the advice and help. :)

Ah ok, pity. But that is why I have a specific game saved to test mods with. I always check with it before loading up a save I want to keep. Just cause sometimes it breaks things.

 

Least now you know it is a save issue and not the mod since it works with a new game.

 

You might consider using the Save Game Cleaner tool, I forget the link off the top of my head but it is on the Nexus. It is suppose to clean up saves to get rid of orphaned scripts and stuff. It is suppose to work fairly well, obviously it is not perfect and doesn't always work but it does work sometimes. So something you might want to consider trying.

 

I mean what is the worst that can happen? It breaks your save? :)

Sexlab UtilOne does not work. If you are having trouble dying before sex, use SM Essential Player instead. Although I would love to see Defeat compatible with Death Alternative instead.

I don't know if anyone has encountered this bug but every time there are more than 1 agressors..my PC is stuck right after the rape, a.k.a the forever sit down pose" . If theres only 1 agressor, it's fine.

and cannot be traded with or dismissed. Also they no longer speak at all. I can get them to fight again after I fast travel, but everything else stays. My papyrus says nothing out of the ordinary and SKSE documented some errors, but thats from SM essential having icon errors with SKyui.

 

Edit: Upon exiting to desktop and reloading game, the followers talk and can be traded again.

i write some things that i saw with 5.1

 

- when a npc sleep and i say to my companion to rape the npc, nothing happens, also on the option to rape with my pc the npc

 

- i can not grab jarls? (pc or npc does not work)

 

- same bug like in the old 4.21 version, after rape the pc or npc do not put the weapons away (they keep it in hands but it is like no weapon equipped) i play dual weapons - then i must put weapons away and reequip :/

 

- rob on sleep, i miss the option to rob the armor and the inventory option

 

- my companion does not rape a npc out of battle, alltime run to them and then nothing (i activated my companion and marked the target)

 

and the strip option, i dno - i must check that a bit more - i got allover in mcm unequip but after sex they still naked

It has been reported and there is already a hot fix, just use the hotfix on the download page and it fixes it. Least it did for me.

The issue is I already applied the hotfix..so logically it should be fixed..Like I said, everything work fine if there's only 1 agressor but if i got knocked down and get raped  when there are 2 enemies..i just got stuck right after the rape, the escape bar doesn't even show up (again it does show up if ther's only 1 agressor)...

That's odd, I tested it awhile this morning and after the hotfix I never had that bug anymore. Regardless if it was 1 or more aggressors once they was done the character would stay in the sitting position for a bit ... say 20-30 seconds and then the screen would fade and one of the events triggered. Waking up in a inn etc.

Dialogue is a good idea. Any chance of using the JContainers structure to allow people to customise their own messages?

 

If you want to use any of the dialogue from my Apropos db file, feel free.

Hum I may find a little clue in your post. I notice that my event trigger bar is at  0%. I will increase it to see if there's any change.

Okay so..Ive both enabled and installed Defeat correctly, all the animations are activated as usually and I was able to browse around in the Defeat Menu..however...

 

Nothing ever happens.

I can access the Defeat menu via Keypad_Enter, however my character never gets assaulted.

Ive spawned several creatures and bandits to make sure this isnt just a singled out enemy.

 

Nothing just happens.

 

Sexlab matchmaker on the other hand works fine, so Im pretty sure this is defeat related.

Player as agressor works fine, just that I have no use for it really, Action button works along with the actual assault on the NPC.

On a clean save I tried to instal the latest version through nmm. NMM will install it but nothing happens ingame; there's no menu, nothing happens when I enter combat etc. It's also not recognized by boss even though other sexlab mods are. Should I download the old version and override it with the new one?

 

How long did you wait in game for it to show up in your MCM menu? Depending on your system and number of mods it can sometimes take several minutes or more for MCM menus to show up. Also once it does you have to turn the mod on.

Okay so..Ive both enabled and installed Defeat correctly, all the animations are activated as usually and I was able to browse around in the Defeat Menu..however...

 

Nothing ever happens.

I can access the Defeat menu via Keypad_Enter, however my character never gets assaulted.

Ive spawned several creatures and bandits to make sure this isnt just a singled out enemy.

 

Nothing just happens.

 

Sexlab matchmaker on the other hand works fine, so Im pretty sure this is defeat related.

Edit:

Player as agressor works fine, just that I have no use for it really, Action button works along with the actual assault on the NPC.

 

Does Defeat show up in the MCM menu? If so if I recall you have to turn the mod on for it to work first.

 

My next question is will it work on a new character? Try making a new character and just quickly running them to a spot to see if defeat works after you turn it on in the MCM menu. Then you will know if it is a problem with the mod as a whole or something conflicting with the mod and your old save.

Okay so..Ive both enabled and installed Defeat correctly, all the animations are activated as usually and I was able to browse around in the Defeat Menu..however...

 

Nothing ever happens.

I can access the Defeat menu via Keypad_Enter, however my character never gets assaulted.

Ive spawned several creatures and bandits to make sure this isnt just a singled out enemy.

 

Nothing just happens.

 

Sexlab matchmaker on the other hand works fine, so Im pretty sure this is defeat related.

Edit:

Player as agressor works fine, just that I have no use for it really, Action button works along with the actual assault on the NPC.

 

Does Defeat show up in the MCM menu? If so if I recall you have to turn the mod on for it to work first.

 

My next question is will it work on a new character? Try making a new character and just quickly running them to a spot to see if defeat works after you turn it on in the MCM menu. Then you will know if it is a problem with the mod as a whole or something conflicting with the mod and your old save.

 

 

 

Well it is there, everythings there, the only thing not working is player getting assaulted while I can assault npc's just fine.

 

Ill try the new save thing later.

Try playing with the settings in player as victim. Try turning the health up to 100% and put it on threshold and then put it on 100% chance on a hit and try it. Then it should trigger as soon as you enter combat.

 

If it works then, then that gives us some clues on to what might be happening.

I feel your pain. I had the similar issue a year back. I still don't know what fixed it and how, but I tried clean saves, re-installing stuff and whatnot. Eventually it worked, but still I don't know what fixed it. 

 

Keep on trying.

Enjoying the mod so far, so a big Thank You, Goubo!

 

However, I play using a controller, and the analogue stick won't work with the resist/struggle bar and the keyboard won't register with the controller plugged in. I also tried to change the hotkeys in the MCM but once you tell it to change a key none of the buttons register and I have to unplug the controller to do anything. This hotkey problem didn't exist before the patch as I was able to change the hotkeys before, but the analogue problem did exist in the original beta. Still have the sit down after rape glitch but clean up fixes the problem so it's not a big worrry.

 I would love you to fix the controller problem but it's no real hardship to play using the keyboard.

I tried all of that already, I messed with all the settings and nothing worked. Gonna try a new game, but I dont think its that.

I hope you'll not be disappointed... :/ a lot of you seems to expect a lot from my mod, kinda pressuring.

How do i get the threesomes and the multiple turns to work? I have the slides at 100% and everything else works great but when my pc gets raped by multiple bandits only one of them gets a turn and soon after i'm in combat again. I tried dummy new saves and reenacting the scene several times but the same single bandit has his way once and combat is back. Any reply is greatly appreciated!
