Not sure about Sd+ compatibility but the on-or-of toggle is there on the mcm menu, you just make the probability 0 to any or all events if you want.

I spawn some bandits to test the update out in the house at Half-Moon Hill, and after the rape they dump me in the frozen wild somewhere northeast of Morthal. Then a dragon shows up. While seeing if the dragon could Defeat me, some other wanderers showed up to try and kill it, then the two bandits I'd spawned in the house showed up! Eventually everything else was dead, and the dragon decided to just do that finisher bite on me.

Tried with a new (clean) save with no change. The quick option menu->clean up is a reasonable workaround so far. Otherwise, thanks for the awesome mod! Didn't expect the rapist to do a victory dance while my character was stuck

Vuulgar Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Thank you for all your time and effort, Defeat was one of the first mods I used and I am liking the new version so far. I had a couple things happen as I tried player as victim with and without a companion (Tamaria mod) and I am also using OBIS and Populated Cities Towns Villages. Obis gives bandits pets sometimes and the dog pet worked great.....the dwemer spider pet, however, was an odd event without an animation. I also had a freeze up after several bandits took turns as designed and I got the Robbed quest only to be stuck in a sitting position holding my abdomen. I finally used MCM clean and it let me go but the quest cant be completed now. With companion I went to Kematus cave, we lost and the sequence started but after undressing both stood up between the transition from bleed out to sex and this triggered one or several attackers to go aggressive and sooner or later kill me. I tried this scenario several times and it happened every time, can the attackers be non combative until they all get their turns?

Visited Broken Fang cave and 4 bandits attacked me. No key for surrending is working. I tried various settings in the menu, didn't help. I reset all animations too, didn't help. Weapons armed or not, doesn't change anything. So my female PC always got killed. Here are the pictures of latest setup. (As said, tried all possible combinations - didn't work)
Guest Real Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I have some things for you. Some of them are game breaking, others are far more trivial. Having high stealth breaks the knockdown sequence. Stealth should be disabled on knock down. Even taking strip, they just run around saying "did you hear something?" Creature assault is treated the same way humanoid is. The cave bear spoke to me, stole my shit, and then dropped me in the wilderness. They need their own rule set. Having a scenario where you have to use the resist bar to wake up is fine (so you don't have to change anything). Just a different situation. Like maybe the way it was done in devious captures, leave your shit on the ground... wake up teleported a bit away. The idea can be the animal dragged you around after the rape, and the actual game play idea could be get your weapon back from that thing that raped you. Lol you could even have the damn cave bear camp the weapon (and whatever else got dropped). "So, you do we have here..." when you're getting robbed should read "So, what do we have here?" The ellipses is fine if you really like it... I did some testing on post assault, I basically tested 0% wilderness and 0% inn, 100%/0 and 0/100%.. the first scenario breaks the game (0%/0%). Is it intentional that we chose some combination between the 2 to reach 100%? consider revising the ai so that it's a single slider with wilderness on one end and inn on the other. Unless you plan on adding more scenarios then consider forcing the combination of all to be equal to 100%. Getting robbed only steals equipped (as far as I can tell, it's only equipped items over the configurable variable). Consider changing 'Both' to 'Either' on the drop down menu for how the PC gets knocked down. 'Both' could mean that in order to get knocked down both scenarios must happen. Playing with it a bit and reading the description makes it pretty clear what it means, but 'Either' is a less confusing way to describe the situation. NPCs wander off while the PC is being forced back into human form. I'm using Better Vampire Lord Transformation so maybe it's a product of the 2 addons arguing. I'd like to see a quicker, custom animation for deforming. Maybe straight to knee. Just tested without the addon, same situation. Also, the cave bear that stole my shit took a nap while I was transforming. I love the laying idle in-between rapes. It's just kind of jarring to see sexlab stand my character up, then throw the actors around to setup the animation. Less jarring would be to have sexlab just leave you lying (even moving around) until the animation is ready. Having it, even buggy, is better than not having it all; so I can't suggest removing it if the fix is out of scope. The cough when you run out of resist time is a nice touch, as is the sitting idle you chose for the post rape. The screenshot in the above post shows another bug. In the stripping you can't choose steal in all options but chest. The rest show "disabled" in it's place. Chest stripping has 4 choices "strip, unequip, disable, steal." Thinking back on it, I think framework is gone, but I'd have to check. All in all, not a bad beta. Good content. Going to be fun when it's polished.

It took a while for me to get it to work. Have you tried it with minimum health at 0%? That's usually on default, and then try putting the health threshold at 50% to test it out.

I'll see it. The set up below worked for me. Unfortunately, my follower is so OP, she usually kills my aggressor before he can lay a finger on me.

Loaded game, MCM option was there, but no options inside were. Everything said disabled. Okay, let's see what I did wrong. I manually installed the files and noticed that I now had a Defeat .esp file now, whereas I did not before (using the NMM install), I just hadn't noticed it wasn't there. If I hadn't had the data folder open when I manually installed everything, I wouldn't have seen it appear. Okay, that's a good thing. I load the save file and the options showed up, everything was configurable, Nothing happens when I am "defeated" in combat, just messy death. Okay, I checked for an "offswitch" I might have forgotten. Don't see one. I check my recycle bin and notice that there are also Defeat .bsa and .bsl files in there as well as the old .esp. There are no NEW .bsa/.bsl files in my current data folder, nor are they present when I "unwrap" the Defeat .rar file. Am I supposed to be using the older ones or were newer ones supposed to be included and I just missed 'em somehow? Or am I completely clueless and you're all shaking your heads at me right now? Thanks for any info provided, I really liked this mod in it's older state, I had it working just fine with SL 1.54, might have to just go back to it till I can figure this new one out.

I have the exact same problem, after the scene, character stay in sitting position forever.... while in sitting position, I can try to struggle and make the bar up, but no thing come form it . Only a fast travel clear the problem.

I've also noticed that sometimes the bandits just kill me even though the mod is enabled, but fortunately the clean feature works well for that bug. Other than that I've been pleased with what I've seen so far. If you're still taking suggestions, I have two; the ability to select how far away from the site of the assault your character gets dumped; and the ability to choose an average number of times your character is assaulted by one attacker. The just laying there I experience too, it must be something with the events part, because sex animations happen and consecutive ones (turns). But when I get robbed, I just lay there. - Quicksave (F5) and then Quickload (F9) fixes it and let's you stand up. For the part where you die, maybe change the prerequisites or increase them. If enemy is too powerful and the blow is to kill you, you'll die instead fo triggering the takedown. Yeah, I noticed that if I go into the Defeat menu and tell it to clean Defeat then it allows my character to move around again without messing with any of the "Robbed" quests, if there are any.

I think I can guess what happened if u uninstalled 4.x version correctley you have first disabled it ( uninstalled it) inside MCM then rebooted after removing the files!then shutdown and copied new defeat and enabled the .esp for it ! in this case ...... the mode installs itself with default config disabled all 3 parts (aggressor and victims and npc/npc) when u get into mcm TO ENABLE any part or all of them nothing appears in options untill you exit MCM and wait a couple of seconds it happened to me with other mods and with defeat too try it maybe that works!

mskyrim Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I'm getting endless loading screens with the new beta 5b1. 4.2.1 was working for me before, so it shouldn't be a conflict inherent in the mod. I uninstalled 4.2.1 via the MCM menu in-game and created a new save, then quit and removed the mod with Mod Organizer. I first tried immediately installing 5b1, running FNIS, then loading the game; got endless loading screen and had to close game via Task Manager. So I removed 5b1 from Mod Organizer and ran the game; things loaded fine. Defeat still had an entry in my Mod Configuration Menu, but it was empty. I created a new save and quit the game. Then I installed 5b1 with Mod Organizer, ran FNIS, and ran the game; got endless loading screen again. Anyone else having this problem? Is there an obvious fix that I'm missing, like load order changes or a new conflict?

Hm, normally the struggle bar should appear and let you press left and right strafe button to get up. Ha anyway those post assault scenarios are really in a WIP stage. And if you char is weak he'll die before he gets knocked down, there is nothing to prevent death in my mod but it's probably compatible with a mod that make your char essential. Ho and if you have a follower getting some when you are in sitting position at the end of a scene, the mod is waiting for him to finish getting assaulted so it is normal you are stuck in this position, I'll add a notification for this or block the clean up function with a notification. For your suggestion I'm gonna include an option to give to an aggressor a configurable chance to want a second turn. The new system uses a "Satisfied" tag to prevent this NPC to have another turn. For post assault scenarios, if everything is at 100% and they are chosen, a random one will be launched, how is it breaking the game to have all options to 0%? they should be entirely optional. For the rob option, normally it works just fine, not only for equipped stuff, in my last tests at least, will take a look. For faster shifting back beasts I use the vanilla quest shifting back thing so I don't know if there is a way to speed it up, will see, as for the wandering off, I need to tweak some more the ai packages. As for the get up before animation, Yeah I know and I can't do anything since it's a SexLab problem (too bad, in previous version the player stayed on the floor while the aggressor was undressing and it was working very well)
