YK 1.2 is no longer supported, use Acheron and YK2+

OK, sure. And where is that? The version I was running is YameteKudasai - 2.1.3 from here. Or are you saying I don't need the skse dll for 2.1.3?

There is no YK.dll for YK2+, you only need Acheron (which is linked in the requirements)

Yeah, I gave it an honest go. Acheron/ YK is completely broken for me. I manage to fix one issue and 3 more appear lol.

 

Finally got NPC's to go down in combat and get defeated. A scene never starts.

 

My player dies. No scene starts. Assault chance is set to 100%, player is enabled. I can trigger it with console commands but it doesn't work organically.

 

I have disabled both Acheron and YK from my load order, gone through the painfully arduous task of cleaning the scripts and making sure the MCM is reset. Re-running FNIS and Nemesis, and then loading the game without either of them and making three new saves after waiting 3 hours in game for each.

I then re-enable them, and the bloody mcm settings for both have just "stuck" around. I resurrect a bandit.... and die. I've done everything reasonable, and the lack of actual debugging tools to figure out why I can't be defeated is driving me nuts. Removing the mods from my load order hasn't done a thing :P  I would LOVE some help, because even with Defeat being buggy as hell at least you could fucking fix it lol.

 

EDIT: The hunter's pride menu also doesn't show, ever. I can't interact with defeated enemies :( 

 

EDIT 2: I went back to Acheron 1.3.1.2, and now I get defeated, though I miss out on the followers recover after combat ends feature. I also still can't rescue anyone. Oh well, at least it's playable. Fingers crossed for an update :)

Apologies for posting this here, but there isn't a mod page on LL for Acheron (as far as I am aware). My issue is with the strip % feature in Acheron (not Yamete Kudasai). For some reason, the strip % setting is effecting my chance to strip enemies.

 

I want to use the strip setting, as an outcome for defeat. But I do not want to be stripping my enemies if I succeed a roll when attacking the enemy. I'm not sure if this is intended by design. But the strip setting only says it effects me. "Chance that an item will be stripped from you when you get hit by an unblocked enemy attack."

I would also recommend using an external mod to do only the elements where equipment can be undressed.
I use Ecchina Armor Break to handle the disrobing when attacked, while Acheron is only set to Dereat if attacked while disrobing.

I'm having an issue where the downed animation plays repeatedly during the Sexlab scene setup, which seems to cause a lot of animations' first stage to be misaligned. Unfortunately, it also happens if I use the realign hotkey or go forward and back a stage, so there doesn't seem to be an easy workaround. It might be sort of an Acheron issue, since the same thing happens with Simple Assault, but not with Practical Defeat which has its own "tied up" animation.

 

Any way to fix that? This is on AE 1.6.640, Acheron 1.3.1 and YK 2.1.3.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Man, I've been supporting you for a very, very long time, and as much as I want to like your mods, these are full of incompatibilities, outdated with your other mods, nothing works as intended. I will still be supporting you, but please be more consistent with the updates and compatibilities of your mods.

i haven't tried rolling back acheron, but like others can't get anything to really consistently work. no assault and robbing, sure it teleports me but i can't find a single thing thats been taken. that theres no mcm settings indicating how much theyll take doesn't really help me understand much either.

 

i'm not really sure why assault scenes are broken, but it seems that enemies just are distracted by other AI packages, like looking for more enemies, or chasing rabbits, goats, fish whatever they can see. this may just be me though, as it's an issue i've had with defeat, naked defeat and now this. ?

 

i *think* practical defeat works with both, theres not much info to go off of, so maybe that will have some success

 

edit: practical defeat does seem to fix the assault scenes, but not robbery. but at least some of ys is functional and achereon has some working events for me

Hello! I've installed your mod with the requirements and when I try to Assault a downed opponent (using the menu) it gives me an error saying "Failed to Start Scene". Also, I try to use the hotkey I've set for assault, and nothing happens either.

 

Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks for any help.

Failed to start scene

usually means that a mod tries to start an animation with actors of specific sexes and / or tags, but you do not have such animation installed.

 

The MCM should have a page where you can set the tags an animation needs. Try to remove all and see if it works. If it still does not work, use another mod to try to start an animation with the same number of actors with the same sexes.

On 1.5.97. Made a deleted post about it, but I wanted to see if the absence of tags or the inclusion of tags could heavily affect outcomes being able to fire.

Apparently, NPC vs NPC outcomes don't fire at all even with two new game, isolated room, and PC hidden away from the fight. Acheron log did say it was selecting the NPC outcome, but nothing happened after five minutes. Female NPC stayed defeated and the enemies stood around (tried with both bandits and draugrs). PC and follower outcomes work perfectly fine, so I suspect something went wrong with the NPC script. Funny enough, when I tried to get it to work, NPC script did rarely work when it was creatures against male NPCs, which I did turn off, but the outcome still fired. I had to add negative tags to that interaction to prevent it from happening again. Tried again with male NPCs, just in case, but it did not fire an event when I reenabled everything for it. Concerning the tagging system, I tried both variants of no tags and tags, but never worked. Already made sure I did not miss any of the requirements since PC/Follower outcome works with both humans and creatures. 

On a side not, looks like it was a bad idea to save between YK rounds and reload a later time since the YK outcome fully stops, taking PC out from the defeat state from Acheron. I tend to save often in-between events, so I can resume in an event that I randomly crashed. However, this is the only defeat mod that I tried that does not continue, but I suspect its how YK handle repeated assaults from a defeat state instead of a bleedout by Acheron. 

 

Update 1: Went back an Acheron patch to see if NPC v NPC works. 
NPC vs NPC without interference: No outcomes.
NPC vs NPC with follower joining the battle: NPC gets outcome. Follower gets ignored.
NPC vs NPC with both PC and follower joining the battle: NPC gets ignored. Both PC and follower gets the outcome.

there was a discussion previously about NFF and YS/arch/PD asking for the latters bleedout to be disabled for NFF to work. Well, big surprise, i'm having the opposite issue. Nothing I do will stop NFF from reviving downed followers almost instantly, or letting arch 'get into' it's defeat status for anyone but very few people. NFF adds a bleedout to every actor afaik, and its basically completely getting in the way, even with protected off!

 

all of which to say: the two have issues, as pointed out - and if there was some way to circumvent NFF's bleedout entirely i would be interested!

had the same problem with both PD and YK on acheron 1.4, until PD was updated; then it worked. YK may just need an update? I've just disabled the event for now

Will this support Ostim Standalone in future plans? Although I think Ostim community is a little bit weird.

Afaik Yamete Redux supports OStim SA.

 

OStim repeatedly broke compatibility with YK what the author interpreted as that OStim developers do not want YK to work with OStim, thus no further attempts to make YK compatible to OStim again will be made.

I'm assuming this get asked a lot - but any idea why creatures won't attack me after I lose?

I have it enabled, and I got it to work once, but now they just walk off whenever I'm defeated.

I've been installing some animations but I don't think this could cause it, right?

Thank you. I did tried Yamete Redux. It worked generally well though with some small bugs. Perhaps because it stop updating while Ostim Standalone still work in progress. Ostim lacks the varieties compared with Sexlab.

I don't know if someone already encounters this or mentioned it on this topic, but unticking Allow NPC Defeat in Acheron (1.4 version btw) totally prevents this mod from working for the player.

So I've seen on Reddit and various forums that this mod supports Ostim, but there's no mention of that on this page and when I tried running the mod with Ostim, selecting assault from the hunters pride menu did nothing. Does this or does this not support Ostim, and if it does, how would one go about making it work?
