Those scripts are supporting the long whip-animations. In between I am not sure if this is necessary to have the whips working. We also have other aa-animations in the pack without such scripting working. Problem here is, that I overtook this stuff from a friend because long whips have been wanted so much in the past. Sadly another stuff which has been added and which is simply causing troubles. My overall experience for future is of course never again to overtake stuff from other creators, which is not made by myself-specially in that case, if it comes with any sort of scripts. ALL THOSE stuff, which has been script-based and which is not made by myself, explicid the ZAP framework, have caused sooner or later PROBLEMS. That´s a sad fact. I also see that with endless mods, based on self-created scripting. I am sure that scripting is a very difficult and dangerous LAST option for the game as long it is not handled in a professional way. Professional means professional. This experience means also to me, that we can not for best change a SKYRIM to become an absolute different game with all the wanted and 100% functionally stability-of course not. To me it always meant to be a good road, to get the game decently changed with moderate changes, so that it is running stabil and the gamer will have no issures playing the mods. You were kind enough to do these for me as faa....rrrrr back as April and July 2019, and you also said then that you would let Kimy have them to use in DD Irrespective of whether they are in ZAP9 or not, is there maybe a chance of at least making at least these avaiable to @AndrewLRG - as per his earlier recent request - to see if he can make something of them in a DD Framework, should he think they might suit whatever he's aiming at? I'm still hoping that one day I'll have these to use as furniture/devices to place by the wayside in which to park my slaves and naughtier followers, or for just as a way of putting the bad people on show to the passing citizenry Yours, very patiently, and as hopeful as ever ? And Thanks @AndrewLRG FYI Please keep in mind that specially the upper furniture is not really suiting to skyrim´s female-mesh-skeleton technology. The neck and also the body-to-arms-position is so much screwed up, that I would never do something like that again. It´s the best to create some nice stuff, which is more easy for the skeleton-mesh-construction. But do not panic, also inside of DAZ3D, such poses are not serious working without lot of corrective work on the mesh. It does simply make no sense to try to get a virtual reallity for such poses with the architecture of the known bodies. Skeleton-bone-to-mesh-weighting simply has it´s drastically limits. If a body has a higher resolution, this error becomes more and more compensated, but it still exists. And sometimes it also is possible, that it looks "nicer", compared with the reality:-)) 1

This might become little more with depth if in breaks he would use a target furniture...this mod is absolute as soon you stop him to sing. Enjoy the silence:-))...Finally I can test stuff without becoming nervous. The german singer is CRAP...untalented. BAD !!! Easy: delete the mod by mod-manager (if installed by) and then delete all the content of the pack manually. After all of that you install the version you want. If your game is crashing to desktop, this is maybe if you have too many animations, depending on the last mod which you have installed-zap is coming with some thousands f animations, in between. Anyway is the framework not causing CTDs. It ´s handy like the version 7 in the past.

This maybe is happening if your game is not able to handle more animations. The size of the pack is not causing further problems with skyrim, as the overall stuff is simply optional. If this pack is used on weaker systems, there´s the chance that entering the zap-world ist problematic. But that "world" is an option and not a hint, how ZAP is running with skyrim at all. If you are about to play in tamriel with ZAP 9 installed, you should have a same performance with ZAP 9, compared with ZAP 8, depending on your overall animation-amount. FNIS can of course not inject 20000 animations without any artefacts. The game is simply not designed to run with the FNIS and nemesis hack. It also is possible, tat ADD ITEM MENU is harming the performance or that other mods use too high texture-resolutions. Furthermore is the LATEST ENB update for SKYRIM LE heavy by adding some new features, which have not been available in older versions of ENB. An older ENB can be also tested in such a case of instability. The reflections on surfaces in LE are sometimes disturbing and can be switched off for a better looking game. Some ENB-presets have a bad setting for some other parameters, which screw the game performance down. In sum said is ZAP 9 also quite lightweighted compared with version 8(+). It should not cause any sorts of crashes. But it is possible that together with all your other mods, the system is at it ´s edge, depending on FNIS-but not because of it´s other content (framework and new assets).
Hex Bolt Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 I had reported back in September an unusual change to the properties of the whipping script in ZAP 9, which might have been unintentional but looks like it could break the scene. Since then, players sometimes report in the support topic for "Submissive Lola: The Resubmission" (which uses the WhipPlayer() function in ZAP) that whipping the player character does not work with ZAP 9. Here is a quote from today: "after uninstalling ZAZ 9.2 I tried ZAZ 9.0 and the same only after uploading the ZAZ 8.0+ version flogging punishment works properly" I'm just mentioning it again, if it's something you want to look into. 1
hamthe3rd Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 for now, I uninstalled the game, erased the whole directory and then reinstalled. I am collecting the mods I need now and will use 8 plus instead of this. I hope you can make this version better and more able to work with things, but for now, I need the older mods to work with the earlier version. 1

t.ara Posted December 23, 2022 Author Posted December 23, 2022 (edited) Problem is that after MUSJE took ZAP´s code to add some additional stuff like the new lock-mechanic and some other small changes, the framework maybe is not working anymore... I can´t take care of this. The same nonsence with the skeleton-deforming just began, after there has been the NPC-riding become added. I´ll delete those changes again and reset the code later inside of the next update back to version 6.22, same way as I did with the animation-flags. Means you will no more have NPC-riding, this whipping-code (which is not necessary from my point of view as the whipping is an AA-animation-this doesn ´t need extra code. I deleted my scripts from the folders and the whip is still working. I´ll also delete the offset swimming animations and the crawling at all. Those motion-functions can be placed much more better by using NEMESIS later. It has been mostly depending on my ideas to get more functions out of ZAP-if now such a whipping function is not working any more I have to ask again myself why I asked for new additions, which ONLY will be responsible for the lost functionallity of the mechanic of ZAP. That whipping function is little strange to stop working but it seems to be depending then on all the new additional code of this version (NPC-riding, whip-function (script), crawling (maybe that just was in 8-idr), swimming in restraints, lock-mechanic....) Next update...next year! (I need time to change everything back because I have to compare the different code and it´s integration.... It´s of course no problem if you stay with ZAP 8(+) or whatever. There are enough options, or you can try the following: For a simple test you can try to get rid of the newer scripts, compared with ZAP 8(+)....and then look what submissive lola is doing.... I mean I do not feel hurted or such like and I feel some people are very descent and careful with me. It´s important to tell it and so I can react on that and make it work again, like it was working in the past. So, do not worry to tell this and that is not working...... I am not sure if MUSJE likes to reverse-step the newer functions as she put into this her time. We need to respect also her work but I am sure that this also raised her skills for coding and such a code is for best inside of a quest-code-not inside of ZAP. The framework of ZAP is quite complex and additions maybe are harder to do as it´s maybe very important to understand the stuff in WHOLE. On the other hand are some functions, which MUSJE added a BIG progress when it came to the furniture-assets-scripts, which allow to add restraints and clothing by furnitures-which is ALSO not perfect, but pretty much fine. This shows me as a non coder, HOW difficult it is to think of all the details and optimization when it comes to coding. The aspect has been to get RID of the newly added assets-because the AIM is slowly more frequented by additional assets. The code has to delete those assets and not put those into the bag of the NPCs or gamer. Yes-LOL....one step forward and TWO steps backwards.

Until version 8+ that is. Keine Ahnung, was Hexbolt sonst noch für Funktionien aus ZAP benutzt. Er ist bemüht, seine Downloads klein zu halten, und da Lola DD benutzt, was widerum ZAP benötigt, ist es nur logisch, die vorhandenen Funktionen aufzurufen. Das Auspeitschen hat immer wieder nicht funktioniert. um dann später ohne nachvollziehbaren Grund doch zu klappen. Kann also sein, daß die ZAP Funktion eine Macke hat, aber irgendwie doch benutzbar war. Das würde jedenfalls erklären, warum dieser Fehler in unregelmäßigen Abständen wieder aufploppte.

You've accomplished some amazing things with ZAP. I was watching that whip-template which you mentioned earlier from my pack here. I have now compared those with the version 6.1. Settings have become changed for some tests. I´ll put those back to their old settings inside of the next update. Alernatively you can check the ZAP 9 with this new ESP/esm. Some assets might be missing or wrong/BS-assets which are new will not appear, treess and some other objects will miss. Not important for the user for now. Can be used instead the beforegoing versions at all. ZaZAnimationPack.esm

I think losing some stuff like offset swimming is not that much of a big deal, if that frees up some animation slots in FNIS. The new functions should not affect the whipping functions or the rest of the framework, though. The riding function could be made optional but I think it would be nice to keep it, it seems to be a popular function (even today someone asked to plase make a skeleton for male mounts, sadly I Ihave no idea how to do that). I ´m sure it is the npc-riding-or the swimming. Something which is drastically taking influence on the animation engine via FNIS. Behavior-problems. The game is searching to restart the animation corectly with the skeleton....which is flying around in some bigger radius and scary deformed. That ´s an error inside of the animation-system. Don´t please worry about that. I try to find that error soon. I´ll switch off the stuff which I think is guilty. I work with the latest skeleton for LE which uses the 4 bone-breast-tree. The problem is that also NPCs sometimes and btw. not seldom do the same as the player´s character...FLY away in deformation with a nonsence of rowing legs , arms and deformed body....and this structure of a scary glitched mesh is then rotating thru walls by FNIS-issue, collision off and "go"...LOL. That takes about 1 minute or longer and can become interrupted again by trying to enter a furniture. After that the character is back and the animation is also fine, then, same for NPC as I mentioned. This error is with the ZAP 9 broadcasted to all of us, which play ZAP 9. I think in some days I´ll be able to tell you about the reason for that problem. FNIS is adding this error into the engine, no doubts.
