In the BAC MCM settings, under general (I think): Try check the box for hiding visual progress/effects/Transformation (I don't remember what the setting is called verbatim, but something to that effect). Then exit the MCM and back to the game. Then go back into the settings and un-check the same box again and exit the MCM. This worked for me in the SkyrimVR (SE-version).

tried it already and skipped some of the stages of transformation. The transformation works but the skipping of the stages is annoying.

Tried this one, it stays in the unequip/reequip stage for a long period of time, but still does nothing. Still, thanks for the suggestion.

Hey botticelli, thanks for reviving and continuing this mod, do you have any plans of adding a mutation where your character needs to walk on all fours? Also the headcow morph is broken for SE, causes instant crash. Swapping it for LE morphs fixed it though.

Hey, I'm doing a playthrough without playing with bac this time, but I left bac intalled since I'm too lazy to press few buttons. I went to dragonreach to collect some books for lotd mod and I picked book about Mandy accidentaly. It accualy started the quest "Who am I" even if I've never met acolyte Jensen, Paul and wasn't even a milkmaid.

Clean out the old scripts from version 2.0.7 first

If you are referring to being milked in a milking machine or during a sexlab animation: no. It *will* cause a CTD the moment a mutation occurs that changes root node height (e. g. large hooves, or cow pelvis). Outside of a machine, those should happen normally. I did *not* change anything in the core muatation process since before 2.0.1. It being interrupted usually points to a no longer supported version of Q2C's inventory functions or PO3 (remember: Steam "upgraded" SE to AE silently, eand those dlls may no longer be compatible).

You need to clean out any old scripts. Because of the new colour and different texture allocations, the old scripts will no longer work.

And again: no (except for the beastess sneak animations you can download as an extra). It would mean creating an entire new skeleton with all the animations, interactions, etc. I do not have the decade I'd probably need for that.

Hey, you are right! I've had an old submod lying around that I've forgotten about. Thanks.

 

A couple more things:

Getting blended lactacid (and, I guess, just getting the curse in any way) gives me a full set of iron armor, for some reason. 

I'm unable to get several levelups during a single milking session. It doesn't do it during the milking, saying 'Level up blocked' and only does it once when the milking ends. Is it just my setup and script lag or is it a more common thing?

Do I still need to clean it even though I decided to uninstall Skyrim (Due to a separate reason I messed up the Skyrim.ini and reinstalled it) with the new version of BAC? Also, how do I clean the script? When I did reinstall it I deleted the folder for my Skyrim and just ran a fresh new game with the new bac 2.0.8

There is a faction bac_reequipping. You get put into that faction during levelup so that the reequip job(s) do not overtake themselves. At the end of those jobs you get removed from that faction again - at least that's what normally happens. Sometimes, that removal does not take place. Noticeably so when you change location through a load screen the moment when it should happen, but there may be other occasions. So, what you can do is type "help bac_reequipping" in the console, note down the ID and then type "player.removefromfaction <ID>". BAC does that itself upon game load only.

 

The iron armor is not my doing, at least not intentionally so. I do not have any script that does that - *but* when you get added to MME's milkmaid list (e. g. via drinking Blended Lactacid), MME fires a mod event and any mod can catch that and react to that.

There should be a file Data\Textures\actors\character\SlaveTats\bac\liqvandb2.dds. That was missing from the tats file in my first upload on December 8th, but I re-uploaded the tats file shortly before Christmas with that texture included, just checked the file on the download page, it's included there. Please check your folder if that is missing. Maybe MO2 overwrites removes it again?

I tried to look for those files and they are not in the script folder so am I good and I don't have to do anything? They probably are not there since I did a fresh install of Skyrim along with the new BAC 2.0.8. Referring to these files on Item # 3 of the FAQ.  bac*.pex, pf_bac*.pex, qf_bac*.pex, and sf_bac*.pex

Thank you :) This was indeed the problem.  I had a customized one from the way back 2020 pack and it had an old json in it, i deleted it now and will try it again

Quick support question, with likely a simple but overlooked fix:

Having a tad bit of an issue in relation to the handhooves and the leg hooves stages. When it gets to those sections, my hands turn transparent with just the tats showing over where they should be but having a partial alpha look to them, and the leg hooves either don't show at all and just show the feet, or they too go invisible. The semi hooves stage as well as the tiptoe stages work just fine, however

I have run the bodyslide on all bac attachments with no errors and I'm using the CBBE body

Steps already taken:
Deleted all instances of BAC, textures, mesh, scripts, etc to ensure a fresh deployment of all related mods
Re-run bodyslide just to make sure it had properly gone through

Ensured the overlays settings in the txt file were properly set

 I know I'm probably the only person here using this on dudes but I wanted to share some HIMBO refits I've made for this great mod, only for humans and khajiit presently, this is only for the morph part of BAC, (horns,hooves,noserings,etc) I don't know how to work with textures or do facial keymorphs so unfortunately no cow heads for either and overlays look a little funny since they're meant for women, this also comes with a edited plugin that enables the meshes to appear in the first place so you'll want to let this file overwrite your BAC installation and then build the morphs in bodyslide after via the 3 slidergroups I created, it also comes with devourment refactor (vore mod) support on that front, as a sort of optional thing, so enjoy! feel free to DM me if there's any glaring issues as I haven't actually had access to my primary PC so I haven't tested these in-game, they should work just fine though! edit;I should mention the plugin is from the most recent SE version of the mod, just a heads up. :smile:

BAC DV HIMBO refit (khajiit and human).zip   sort of a "DOH" moment, but I realised later in a personal playthrough that I totally missed the early horns, (stage 1 2 3 without ears), here's an addendum folder to fix that, you can find them in "unassigned" build the appropriate set for your race.

Hello all I'm having an issue with on of my followers. I made her a cow and instead of the textures applying I have the big red triangle with the white !. Only time I have seen this is with missing textures. Any suggestions to fix? I have run bodyslide and updated all files removing the old ones. she is being changed to a spotted cow and the fur is not showing. I changed another follower to a black cow and all worked.

That means missing nif (mesh), not texture. Did you install the loose files archive? There are some nifs in there that do not need generating.

Wow, called it, that actually solved my specific issue with the disappearing hands/hooves. Knew it was going to be something simple that I overlooked.

@botticelli The new update fixed the texture/mesh problem we had during the transformation to a hucow although. I think there is one bug left times I have to click the update to kick start the transformation. I did twice already other than that most of the transformation does show up.

So body slide was correct but I don't think vortex put all the nifs in the right spot. I extracted the archive copied the BAC mesh folder into the correct spot. Re-ran body slide and all is well now. I do have one other question I saw in the change log there is a quest to allow you to revert back removing the curse till the next time, how do you trigger that?
