Just... don't get frustrated. Many enemies can one hit kill you till about level 40 I think. The island is even worse, but has the best loot.

Oh, and talk to the princess in the garden to your right when you exit the castle for the first time. She unlocks another quest later that has good loot as well. Lot of ppl miss that.

Morrowind. Best magic system ever, insane level of player freedom, interesting lore... Nothing else comes close.

For numbers of times played would be between either Baldurs gate 2 : shadow of amn or Dragon Age : origins as the first one was great, they just ruined it with the second one

I started playing origins, but just couldn't get into it.  Maybe gonna have to go back and give it another try.

 It's a slog to get thru the character intros which are supposed to give you your avatars motivations, and views on the world. Once you get out of Ostagar ,and into the main game it is very good,and well worth playing at least once . The banter between the different party members is also fun. If you havent got past the tutorial I really recommend you give it another go.

 I heard that like that CDPR lost most of the core Witcher programmers like Obsidian lost its "main" Fallout programmers. There is also a lot of speculation on the cat pendant and story. I think they are trying to get away from the source material because of the novel author's lawsuit.
