Picked up a few things from gog recently,

 

Everspace

~ Kind of a space flight sim thing, apparently rogue like?  First time playing something of the sort and enjoying it so far.

 

War for the Overworld

~ Essentially dungeon keeper 3, made by fans and former devs of the dungeon keeper series. Very cool, although I felt the campaign modes were a pretty short.

 

Fallout NV

~ First time playing a fallout game, might grab 3 as well since it's on gog, but with Bethesda being a bunch of turd gobblers I probably won't bother with 4 or anything.

 

Still messing about with D3, Sc2 and Overwatch occasionally.

 

I was playing D3 until 10 days ago, had to take a break from it, can't stand doing GR's anymore...lols

Lately, I bought Realpolitik, it's fun. I like this kind of 4X with the real world.

 

This week, hoi4 is on sale at 16€, I hesitate to take it with the Millennium Dawn.

 

An opinion ? This mod is stable ?

Well that was a clusterfuck of bugs and mechanics that make Bethesda seem competent in comparison. Remember kids, never get your hopes up. Life will retaliate that immediately and excessively

 

Instead i noticed that i've sometime bought about every Final Fantasy on Steam. Started playing 9, still one of my favorites Hopefully the 12 remaster gets released on PC sometime too. Those Star Wars rip-off airship fight scenes were just awesome, the evil empire even had a Death Star

I've been goofing around in South Park: The Fractured But Whole mostly to see what end result that different character traits have on character interactions in no small part to see just how close they come to solving the so-called Galbrush Problem in video games.

Thus far, it appears as if they have come farther than most other video games but still don't quite go far enough as they tone down much of the content seen in The Stick of Truth to avoid courting controversy too strongly.

I currently play smite on the pc. On the ps4 I play horizon zero dawn, darksiders 2, and toukiden 2.  Does anyone else play smite?

So True, this. I just picked up Saints Row 3 and added mods, though it's not really my type of game. But it was the only FPS/TPS with full character customizing, open (sort of) world and a good single player campaign mode I thought I would like. I try like hell to find something through Steam, ModDB/IndieDB, and even Patreon, but there's just more MOBA's, awful RPGS (hate RPGMaker) and retro (means craptastic) turn-based strategies that are just copy and paste. Oh, and the damn side-scrolling platformers that should have been extinct long ago.

 

If I had any abilities worth a shit in making a full 3d game in Unity or Unreal 4, I'd have done so by now. But at my age it would take a least 4-5 years and a hell of a lot of frustration (no patience anymore) to come close to the 'Dream Game' I have stuck in my defective brain.

 

I've ranted long enough. Guess I've been gaming way too long. Everything just seems to be 'same crap, different window dressing' to me.

Nioh Complete Edition. Digging the new weapons, just have to find the elemental variants for confusion combos.

Didn't really get into Nioh. Doesn't probably help that i'm playing Dark Souls 3 concurrently.Well, i'll give it another shot once i'm less into DS3.

 

Also found out i had sometime bought Dragon's Dogma for PC. That's a nice open world action RPG, much like TES. The big bad is one of my all time favorites, despite being fugly ^_^

Beating the dragon there is fun, but if you haven't played the DA stuff, your in for a ramp-up in difficulty! Many enemies on the island will one-hit kill you at lower levels. One in particular does that no matter what your level.

SR4 is the best superhero/The Matrix game i've played. Though if SR3 ridiculousness shot trough the roof, SR4's shoots to the next galaxy.

Not to even mention the "Gat out of Hell" standalone expansion.

I just wish Volition would make another fantasy rpg some day. They did some nice work on the Summoner games.....a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

When I finish playing Empire Total War - The Civil War mod, then I'll have to go back and revisit SR4.  I've been a fan of the SR games from the very first one!  Each one has been a ton of fun.

Seriously, Dark Souls 3 seems like an easy mode compared to this one.

Damn. Think modding has ruined me. Finished Saints Row 3 and 4, then bought SR2. I'm converting the Texmod Nude Female Mod DDS files to replace the original textures, sorting through files that I might need to extract and alter later, and choosing which mods I want to install from the SRMod site. Yet I haven't even started the bloody game up once!

 

Fuck it, I'll just play it first. Finally...
