Zimk_99 Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 After the newest update, I have the bug that in the Guillotine event the Follower doesn’t get executed after being put in the device. It than carries on as usual. Hadn’t had the problem in the previous version.

Sorry for the slow replies, I was away from my computer over the weekend. Just re-installed all mods that might affect this event (including Deadly Furniture and Prison Alternative), created a new game specifically for testing - same result: player character successfully executed, follower ignored. All other scenes where a follower can participate work fine (hanging in Riften and Windhelm), the guillotine does not. Edited March 29, 2022 by staspidaras2

I replaced the 1.0 version, rather than creating a new version. Download that, overwrite when asked, start new game, you know the drill. If it still doesn't work, then I´m genuinely out of Ideas. If it DOES work however, then I´m a retard.

But now most of the guards dialogues are missing, resulting in rushed scenes as some parts are skipped or running forever. Don’t know if it’s just for me, but I didn’t changed anything modwise.

I don't know what triggered this and it's weird, cause I remember playing a version that works perfectly (it's the Patreon early release version if I remember it correctly). Gotta do more tests about this.

The newest version fixed the problem for me though, also everything else works as usual too. You might need to uninstall and remove the whole old Riften event, run fnis, go into the game and save, install the newest version and run fnis again, load the save, clear all events and register them again, done. At least it's how I did it and it worked.

At least it's how I did it and it worked. A bit overkill actually. completely removing any old versions and starting a new save should be enough.

Usually you should be dead at this point and the game should reload by itself. If you have something which prevents you from "truly" dying (some death alternative mod?), then you have to do it manually.

I know this is not because of this mod, it also happens when I uses the killing aninmation from pupeteer master for example. So I would just like to ask if anyone might know what is causing this. I have requiem and death alternative installed.

Everything else is working perfectly and I’m eager to solve it, because it is the only thing missing from a perfectly modded game. I recently moved to MO2 and installed a Modlist from Wabbajack (Graphics) I then installed nearly all of my old Vortex mods, including the newest Patreon versions of your mods. Ran FNIS, started SKSE and everything worked perfectly. Then I installed the missing mods (for example other SexLab animation mods, SexLab Defeat, Radiant Prostitution) Now everytime the scene starts, the actor don’t walk trough the market (like they should I guess) but follow the rights side (to the main gate) and over the bridge at the bunkhouse. Then the guards walk against the scaffold and the first delinquent glitches up the scaffold and the scene runs. But the second victim just walks against the scaffold like the guards, and no matter how long I wait, nothing happens. I tried to load the mod at the end of the load order, reinstalled all requirements, uninstalled all mods I installed after it initially worked, started a new game. But no matter what do, the scene is still broken. Help would be appreciated.

PaExRift_ManualHangingSceneStarter.psc The quest properties are filled with the respective quests with similar sounding names (paExRift_ActorHandler... / paExRift_HangingScene...) The ReferenceAlias properties are filled with Aliases from the Actorhandler.

Try moving the BadEnds plugin further down in the loadorder.

Yesterday I made one last, ultimatum, attempt to make the "execution player + follower" function for the guillotine event work - install only the required mods and "Executions: Riften" on a completely clean client, starting a new game with a fresh character. And the result is exactly the same - only my character is executed, the follower is not arrested and is not placed in a neighboring device, but simply runs around while the standard scene of the player's execution is played.
