Thanks mate! Works just fine

Do keep in mind, the papyrus version is slower, and will require a new save (bi-directional, switching to or from will need a new save).

In addition, there's practically no reason currently to use it - the dll has been updated to the latest version anyways. See below.

Here, no.

Here, yes.

It's amazing how many people seem to just never fucking bother to read the Compatibility Tracking page.

Some of us just read the installation guides, so when they are out of date... thanks for pointing out the Compatibility Tracking thing.

Ok, I have been out of skyrim modding for 3 years, and am now running AE.

Which files do I need for SOS?

I tried multiple files and editions and so far I either get the missing DLL or just no schlongs being available.

This is how I think it should work when it comes to installing order...

Schlongs_of_Skyrim_SE - v1.1.4 -> SoS AE 1.0.3 (overwriting the former).

You forgot the DLL target version of SKSE64.  Latest is SkyrimAE 1.6.1170 SKSE64 2.2.6.

The last file in this post is for SkyrimAE 1.6.35.  Obsolete.

You only need to check the SKSE dll version if one is part of the offending mod, it is installed in the folder "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins".

Check here for listed compatibility tracking.  Recommend reading it from the beginning line by line until you reach SOS part.  There are recommendations at the beginning, but not explicitly.

It will help you find the right "Patch" for most mods in Loverslab.

For SOS, there are two versions, one replacing the DLL (for new SKSE) and the one replacing the scripts (removes SKSE direct dependency) to use JSON functions from PapyrusUtils instead.

The one using PapyrusUtils, use different functions and will interpret the SOS sizes differently, making most SOS assets too big using original default sizes chance. Resetting the default size (set by random chance) from 0 to -4 to -6 kinds off make it less of an issue.  It looks funny at the begining until you notice that the animations do not align. Proper sexlab animation alignment is sensitive to scale changes, animators target 1.0 scale of all NPC or creatures and their appendages.

SOS has competition with TNG. It is supposed to be a replacer, but is new and classic old converted mods will not target it.

Just tell me (exactly) what to download and install.  Keep in mind I have no idea with all the technobabble means  I am using 1.6.1170.0.8

So far I have only installed the most recent Sexlab framework.

Hello! Im very new here, was trying to get help as after some time troubleshooting I believe SKSE is so far ahead now that all dll's are invalid and going back that far now in terms of the game is p much impossible. Any chance the dll update is out or on the way?

so im not sure if anyone else has this issue but neither the se nor ae versions of sos work for me (im on se 1.6.1170). ironically the only version that ive actually gotten to work is the oldrim one for some reason.

anyways, my actual question is something different and somewhat of a longshot: i can get the oldrim version to work on vanilla se, but im currently running the next-gen graphics collection. something in that modpack disables sos, and its none of the mods that vortex says conflicts with sos. if anyone has any idea which mod might cause the issue, lmk

You are confused.

This mod description changelog states "Update to version 1.6.353".    You're likely running 1.6.1170, so is not compatible unless it implement a multi-version compatibility API library like Common-LIb NG or Address Libray- AIO.  It does not.
