The biggest kick in the dick is that there are people with that attitude that post here, too. Crusaders are everywhere. People are often passionate about the wrong things, I think.

Nursing animations, nipples get hard from arousal (and the cold, for realism freaks) animated suction cups and breast pumps, electrified piercings, etc. If you do it for FO3 or NV you could make them targetable in VATS.

Many people were pretty mad that HGEC was the body that came out on top. CBBE and UNP got a fair share of idiotic comments, too, especially when they were released. And then you have fanboys of UNP harassing the users of CBBE and vice versa. It's the same shit no matter where you look and it's not exclusive to one single website. To answer your question, yes, a nipples of Skyrim mod would get a lot of shit just for being what it is. People would say that the author needs to get a life because spending so much time on virtual nipples is clearly a sign of an unfulfilled, unhappy life and all the folks that download this shit are little horny teenagers who are too insecure to even talk to a woman IRL. You know how it goes, you can't tell me you haven't seen shit like that on the internet, it really is everywhere where adult mods for computer games are mentioned.

When I was on Nexus I always got a laugh watching haters post and quote and multiquote about how clever and right they were and how stupid and wrong anyone who didn't agree with them was. I knew the people they were targeting had already blocked these losers so the people they were hating on never read those posts. That's because they were being IGNORED as they should be. I love the 'ignore user' feature. It is the forum equivalent of 'Shuddup bitch'. Let them rant and rave and quote...while being 100% ignored for the douches they are.

Yes, people bicker about all nudity mods but there's something about a penis mod that brings forth the worst of the trolls. It was the same about that armor mod that had Chinese swastikas on the shoulder paldrons. People at nexus went on a bigot fueled rampage that stunk of hypocrisy. We have our share of jackwagons here but they tend to get shut down awful fast when they try to spread their troll stink, for whatever reason Nexus seems to be the place to nurture all childish trolling while actively banning any adult discussions and\or honest feedback concerning mod troubleshooting. That's not true, at least from my experience. Granted, I can only really talk about when Oblivion was the hot topic, because that was the time I was somewhat active in the nexus community. But back then, every kind of mod that was adult in nature got their fair share of shitposting. No matter if it was AlienSlof with her male body or the HGEC community. A female modder who made stuff for the HGEC body got harassed with messages like "you should be ashamed of yourself" or "making skimpy clothing for female characters in a videogame is not something a girl/woman should do" and other nice posts like that. Slof, on the other hand, was more annoyed with people constantly asking if she would port her clothing/armor mods to the HGEC body. Not so much about people complaining about dicks. There was somekind of movement against the estrus mod too, people threatening the nexus with legal actions because the estrus mod was promoting rape or something like that. Comments were full of "the author of this mod should be sent to jail for creating such an abomination, pls ban and delete" and the like. If you post an adult mod on a big site, you are very likely to receive the righteous wrath of communities like reddit, NMA and sometimes even 4chan. You know what the majority of people thinks about people that create and use adult mods? It's this hate that fuels the bullshit modders that make adult mods have to deal with. Nothing more. It's not the nexus, it's the people. It's not the recent generation. People starting crusades against something they hate or don't understand (often both) is neither new nor a problem of today's youth. If there is one recurrent theme in mankind's history, it is very much this. It's just that the internet made it much easier to communicate with like-minded people, form communities and ultimately deliver the hate instantly and without any real effort.

I spoke in a PM with her once on her website, but it was regarding Kikaimegami's mod years ago when NV was new. I assume that her, Kikai and Sickle left the Nexus scene because of trolls and thievery. I know Kikai and Alienslof were ticked people were using her stuff without permission. I personally don't know Alienslof, but I admire her work of art.

I can only speak of what I've seen myself and in general the most venomous hatred I've seen tends to be pointed at male mods by other males. Afterall, I have yet to see a truly offensive comment made by a female gamer twards something such as CBBE or UNP, but you can see plenty of rather off-putting remarks made at SOS for whatever reason. Any yes, i completely agree with ever place having it's share of slimy turds going out of their way to ruin every site, it's an unfortunate and almost inevitable part of the interweb. However, unless it's truly agrees i see nexus tend to give it a blind eye to the kind of homophobia so common in the internet whereas places such as LL you see even people whom may disagree don't allow bigotry to stand. Mods such s sexlab and SOS aren't my kind of mods but i wouldn't take the time to post the kind of childish shit you commonly see at Nexus about those kinds of mods, i see no reason to take the time to comment on something i may or may not have issues with. What i don't get is that for a place like Nexus that claims to set the standard for the rest of the modding community to allow users to basically harass modders to the point of them quitting. It isn't a matter of them growing thicker skin either, it comes down to the rest of the community not having the spine to say something but instead stand by while others are allowed to represent them by going out of their ways to bash something just because in some twisted way they think it offends their sense of entitlement or morals. Afterall, couldn't one argue that by the rest of them not at the very least saying something to the offenders it is silent approval? Perhaps I'm reading far to much into it but i suspect otherwise. I disagree on the part that male mods get more hate than any other kind of adult mod. Like I said, I've seen every kind of mod that is adult in nature gets treated like that. I suggest you take a look at the comment section of male nude mods on the nexus, if you are able to do that, of course - they're free of homophobia or hate in general. You'll only find people saying thanks, looking for help with that mod or posting suggestions. And that's because the staff over at nexus does was it does best, banning and deleting all day every day. I fail to see how they turn a blind eye on hate directed towards male mods, sorry. You talk shit about male mods, you get banned. You talk shit about female mods, you get banned. You talk shit about sex mods, you get banned. They'll ban you for just about everything, sometimes for the right reasons, sometimes for the wrong reasons. The hate mostly seems to come from males, yes. But from my experience, they hate mods for male characters and mods for female characters equally. You will often see the kind of comment how everyone that uses a titty mod is some sort of low-life scum because obviously you wouldn't need virtual nipples in your game if you were a normal, healthy individual. You won't see that kind of shit on nexus that much because comments like that get deleted real quick, but on other bigger websites that have an interest in modding? Oh boy. I remember facepunch having a 'sexpose' subforum for garry's mod and that place was where all the failures and degenerates have a home, according to the rest of the site. In the end, the 'sexpose' forum was shut down, much to the enjoyment of many users that hated that subforum because of the reasons I stated above. It's the same how the public views the nexus, they don't talk bad about the nexus because they ban everyone, they talk bad about the nexus because it hosts nude mods and mods for skimpy armors and clothing. So no, I don't think stuff like that is exclusive to the nexus. Every site has idiots like that running around free - bigger sites just tend to have more idiots.
