The latest OCBP release is for the NG game releases and corresponding newer F4SE.

Anyone encounter a issue with the game crashing when using 3.1 on the next gen update? Trying to get this working with 3BBB and the lack of a crash logger is becoming very annoying...

Apparently, users of High FPS Physics Fix discovered that you need to disable its OCBP-related config option.

Yes, that was it. The line is as follows:

 

## Enable to fix speed of OBCP mod (version 2.2.5). Makes timeStep values dynamic.
FixOCBPSpeed=false

 

This will need to be changed until the people behind High FPS Physics fix updates the version of OBCP.

tankgod1 reported it above, I already have a fix for it but trying to include other stuff in the next update.

With Fallout 4 version 1.10.163 and F4SE 0.6.23 you should use OCBP 2.2.5.

TLDR- I have been at it for 4 days and have tried everything (that I can find) but still nothing.

 

Full Details- I have tried both the zip and the tar.gz and neither work for me. I have tried leaving them compressed and extracting them. I have completely purged, uninstalled and reinstalled all of my mods and the game itself. I have tried every combination of mods and nothing. I followed along to every video I could find (most are like 3 months old). I have poured through comments on here, MTM's nexus comments, and the 3BBB nexus comments to try any of their solutions and I can't get it to work. and I have my .ini files setup how they're supposed to be.

The only thing I haven't tried is extracting and pasting directly into the game folder (only because idk if it would go into the game folder itself like older F4SE or the MOD folder).

 

RN the only mods I'm running is F4SE, CBBE, Bodyslide, and OCBP. it still won't work.

 

Someone please help. my forehead hurts.

 

What CBBE preset did you use in BodySlide? If memory serves, you need to build one of the regular presets and not a "physics" preset, since the latter relies on a different (much older) body physics implementation.

so I've been trying with "Curvy" but I haven't been able to get any of the others to work either. and funny you mention the "physics" preset because that's the only one I've gotten to even slightly work (but it's easy to tell that it's CBBE and not OCBP). 

another thing I didn't mention is I don't even get a "file confliction" message when I install OCBP (when trying it with MTM's or 3BBB). so I have to manually make rules for where it loads. not sure if this matters, just trying to give as much info as I can.

 the only thing needed for cbbe physics is

  1. f4se
  2. cbp.dll
  3. correctly configured ocbp.ini
  4. cbbe body in game

so you must ensure that all parts are there

you can check Documents/My Games/Fallout4/F4SE/f4se.log to see if f4se is loading cbp.dll

Long time absentee having trouble getting this to work (No character physics):

 

Fresh install, downgraded to 1.101.63 + F4SE 6.23

Installed Zaz Skeleton 6.0, Fusion girl body, Looksmenu, MTM's OCBP Physics Preset for Fusion girl, + this V. 2.2.5 OCP, created a fusion girl body in bodyslide.

 

Any ideas what I am missing?

When you get naked and jump up and down, your breasts don't jiggle?

 

Are any files from the ZeX Skeleton or Fusion Girl body being overwritten by some other mod? Are you using any "Unique Player" type mod?

Yes, with this setup, I have no character physics. Zex skeleton is not overwritten, Fusion girls preset is, I swapped through all overwrites. Disabling the unique player mod was the first thing I did.

Have you checked your f4se.log to make sure it mentions that cbp.dll is loading successfully?

 

Are you certain BodySlide is configured to write meshes to the correct location when you build your Fusion Girl Nude body in it? If you use Vortex you should generally accept BodySlide's auto-detected defaults, while with MO2 I think you have to do something to point BodySlide to an output directory in its separate virtual filesystem (I'm not an MO2 user so unsure of the details).

F4SE and a body with CBP bones (CBBE, Fusion Girl, ...). If you're using the older game version 1.10.163 then you need F4SE 0.6.23 and OCBP 2.2.5.  If you're on the "NG" game version then you'll need newer F4SE and OCBP appropriate to your game version.

Figured it out....

I am literally bashing my head against my desk. It was 1000% an error on my end. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thx to those who tried to help with my stupid mistakes!

With all due respect, there is no .dll file in either the latest or the 2.2.5 release, which is btw hidden and not on the release page. https://github.com/ericncream/OpenCBP_FO4/releases you have to manually search for it. It is clearly stated in this thread, 2.2.5 is the appropriate version for pre next gen. Please show me the .dll file in this release https://github.com/ericncream/OpenCBP_FO4/releases/tag/v2.2.5 Its not the users fault if the git is set up non user friendly or something is missing. I have coded myself, modded many games including Fallout 4, so when I'm stuck, its not because I cannot read or don't know what I am doing.

Welcome to LoversLab. You download mods by clicking the "Download this file" button on the mod's file page. You seem to have instead found the source code used to compile your own DLL, which is almost certainly not what you want. The OCBP mod page even explicitly tries to tell you this (though if English is not your first language or you're reading web pages through a translator then maybe it didn't come across clearly?):
