ogropirata Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 (edited) NG; when I tried to install 3.12FG, followed the instructions, changed High FPS fix ini OCBP and managed get it working (started without CTD), but i'm dealing with an issue: The physics halts on pause. This is causing the breats to bounce whenever the game pauses, i.e., look at the pip boy, open a container menu or a pop up message. The issue is still occuring even after the game was throughly capped at 60fps in High fps fix .ini. The rest of things such as movement bounce and etc is working just fine, except for this. After a few tries, I've installed OCBP 3.10FG, and been using it ever since. it's been working fine, this version is not bouncing on pauses like OCBP 3.12FG. I've looked in the .ini and read each of the variables descriptions and what they do, but some of the wording/verbage on some of them are going over my head. Would someone be able to essentially explain some of it like im 5? lol The values I want to understand better is "dampening", "timetick", and "timeStep" Dampening: -"Velocity removed per tick, 1.0 would be all velocity removed." Which direction do I change this value? What is the difference between values between 0.0 - 0.99 and values of 1.01-X? Timetick / TimeStep Yeah, not even going to lie, no idea on this one. "Hmm, yes... I know a couple of these words"

Anyway, put way too many hours into the config to conclude that the body slots for armors does not care for the underwear armor slots 36 to 40. For example, I tried every number for the slots= and could not apply specific physics to the 111 vault suit, rags etc. So I suffered greatly and would wish to see it in the next update plsss. UNLESS I missed something! In which case pls let me know so I can fix my config right away thanks. :))))) I am using OCBP 3.1.2 FG in NG. Best of luck to everyone trying to get this to work!! I use about 50 mods so I have little chance for mod conflict and have it easy.
Taven Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 (edited) SO!! I got a new one for you guys! This works!!!!.... but it's VERY temperamental as to how it will work. First, It will only work after I make a new game... and second, it -STOPS- working if I load said save where it used to work. It won't work on older saves, it won't work even if I have a save with no mods other than the ones I need to make this work, only a new game will allow it to -temporarily- work. I've tried OCBPC, and even that previous OCBP download some other person dropped in here a few days ago, and I've been STILL struggling to get this to work past only working from a new game. I imagine the script that's supposed to fire off and make the physics work just refuses to fire off if I don't make yet another new game.. and I assure you that I haven't downloaded and installed this(Or anything else it needs) in a weird or wrong way. I've simply been bashing my head against this issue for... almost going on a month now? xD ...Uh, help..? I'll even accept a way to manually make the physics stuff start working even if I have to do it every time I get back on FO4 at this point.(..If that's the issue... I don't fully know how physic things work in FO4... Oh, and earlier I meant to point out I'm using CBBE body.) Edited December 6, 2024 by Taven 1
