Wow. That is a huge limitation. I never noticed that I had only seen text replacement in prompts. But never responses. I suppose it makes sense for Bethesda quests since response dialogue has always been voiced. Even in past games.

Nuka Ride 2.1 -Tentacus version-

 

An early Christmas gift from Tentacus.

 

 

This special update is based on the latest version of Nuka Ride (2.0.9), but with @Tentacus spelling corrections, as well as a complete facelift in terms of AAF animations -Hardship-style-.

It contains new animations, new sounds, some scene variations and other magic potions that I don't know how he managed to create. 

It is packaged in a BA2 file, and the files for Bodyslide (CBBE and FG) are included.

A round of applause for Tentacus for this magnificent work!  ? ?

 

My goal is to learn from his scripts and make use of his animations for my next updates.

 

 

Am I going to work on my next updates from this version?

 

It was my original idea, but the truth is that Tentacus has a very own style and it is not possible for me to emulate it. I think the ideal would be for me to continue on my own path, but without a doubt using everything he has taught me.

 

Can you  play the Tentacus version and then continue with my nexts versions?

 

You can.. but there are probably going to be problems since in my new versions I have started to reorganize my scripts, textures, etc. So there are probably going to be unexpected behaviors. 

 

My version (3.1) will be uploaded soon, probably in the next few days. You can test it here.

Then I will delete version 2.0.9

I don't know if this is caused by your mod, but it is the only mod I have that alters Nuka World. The first time I went to Nuka world (about level 5). There was only one vendor, and a slave in the market. Everything in the market (guns, ammo, and the like) were free for me to pick up. The desk by were the doctor should be is missing (not really sure if anything else was missing). Everyone seems to think I'm the Overboss (I assume that's because to be there you would have already killed the overboss) so not much can be done about that.

 

Those are just some things I noticed. I am using v209 with the hot fix

Is it possible to somehow return the textures of clothes to normal instead of this *acidic* horror? Installing clothing packs HN66's Easy Girl, HN66 TRS does not help from the word at all.

Hmm. That version is very stable and you shouldn't have those problems. It is the version that has been around for months. Try putting Nuka Ride at the last of your load order. There may be a conflict with a mod.

The jeans texture comes in Nuka Ride. But I know that texture that you lack: it is from Easy Girl. Check twice.

Hey i installed the mod and have the prereqs, but when i talk to the protectotron he will turn to me but i dont get a prompt and he wont say anything. I then started the original Nuka World quest, got up to the gauntlet. Console commanded my way back and still protectotron doesnt do anything

What version do you have installed? 

 

That bug you're talking about was a little thing from yesterday. But in version 3.1.2 everything should work.

PS: You need to reload a save where you have NOT started Nuka Ride, unfortunately. Sorry. You know... tests version. ?

Reinstall Savage Cabbage and choose the animations with robots and protectrons. You probably didn't pick that option on your FOMOD.

then to start the repeatable side of the overboss, how do I start it?

End of mod so far. But you are not the first to ask. I'm going to put a box message when Charlotte talks to you.

 

To test the overboss mission, visit the tattoo shop and ask Music to visit the Overboss.

i'm having a problem of Charlotte not showing up after i get done visiting the overboss  qust from his daughter and returning to golden globes where he tells me to see her to film new movies. shes not downnstairs or upstairs.

I think I already know what happens. The Overboss (visit him) is an optional mission. After dropping Music off her store, you go to The Parlor to talk to Mags. Check out the mission "A New Ride" on your pip boy.

When I try to talk to the protection by the truck it will not do anything, I just restarted today. 

The only settlement I have is Lucy's home farm.

 

 

EDIT: removed the mod Dual Survivor: Nate as companion and I was able to talk with him
