Well, I figured out the textures, although not in the easiest way - I reinstalled the resources, made a purely textural archive out of them, then everything worked. Nevertheless, it is false to note that putting a huge amount of unnecessary resources because of several outfits is still a perversion. Oh well...

Charlotte is in invisible mode. Even with her ID, you wouldn't see her.

When the "Rising Porn Star" mission begins, Charlotte becomes visible. That mission starts when Mags congratulates you and pays you in The Parlor.

 

Copy and paste in the console and tell  me what you see:

Lucy Abernathy is alive in your game? If she's dead or modified, "Rising Porn Star" won't be able to start.

Looks like (Rising Porn Star) has not started after new ride even after Mags told me to talk to Charlotte and Coersican said i can film new movies with her.

That mission needs Lucy to be alive. Since she will be a future actress. If she is not alive, the mission does not start. (Or if you have a mod that modifies Lucy).

Played through 3.1.2, was good fun.

 

Have some questions and some minor feedback/issue, will put it in a spoiler, as to not spoil anything for anyone else.

Disclaimer:  I updated straight from 2.09 to 3.1.2, didn't do any type of clean save.  Also my Load Order is 540 plugins and Nuka Ride is at 425.

 

Quest stuff

 

The quest Rising Porn Star, is it completable? Last Objective was to talk to Charlotte about the Fan Letters, but after doing that Lucy in the Sky started and the objective is greyed out, plus can't talk to her about it again.  Also guessing since Rising Porn Star won't complete the music keeps playing.  Holotape doesn't stop it.

 

Lucy in the Sky had one issue where Overboss meant to give you a shock collar along with the feather dress, but the shock collar isn't given, giving a error message every time it is meant to shock you.  Later when Overboss is saving you, he was getting his ass kicked and had to use console commands to kill some raiders so he could progress (I use weapon mod packs and my character is high level so Overboss was getting one shotted every time he got back up).  Maybe giving him a health bump or a special version of his armor that has really high damage resistance.

 

Visiting the Overboss can't seem to do it because the overboss never returns to Nuka World after completing Lucy in the Sky, objective marker points to Drumline diner.

 

Bodyslide stuff

 

Cop Boots don't seem to morph correctly to body, calves where sticking through the back of the boots (Tried rebuilding them to no success).  Also had a odd issue of them not being unequiped during scenes.

 

Very minor clipping on williams outfit on the legs and some of the other outfits, but character is pregnant, so don't know if normal character size would have the same issue.

 

Misc stuff

 

Very minor thing, noticed any time asking to do a Pole dance the dialogue option says Lap dance.  And the odd spelling mistake.

 

Can get double paid by Corsican, if you are spamming his dialogue after doing some work.

 

Other than that, had a great time playing through it.  Thanks for making something that is awesome.

First off, I love the mod, played through the various versions several times so far and it's just really well done and keeps getting better.

 

I've only really got one issue that is really driving me nuts since it looks like you fixed the Vadim repeatable mission and that is getting the damn music to stop.  I've recruited Lucy and played about 10 levels past the mod and it just won't stop playing no matter what I do with the music manager holotape.  The only quests still in my log are "Rising Porn Star" checked at "Talk to Charlotte about the fan letters" and the repeatable Vadim dancing in Misc.  Should "Rising Pornstar" still be a unfinished quest post Lucy recruitment?

 

I did have an issue when George from the radio station leaves the apartment, I followed him down the steps while he was walking out so I could finish the conversation and leave when he does.  The blackscreen flashed and my framerate dropped and I had the spikes that were someone else reported a bit back.  If I kept going I never got back to normal and it felt like my body was always bouncing.  I reloaded the start of the apartment, did the whole thing and stayed upstairs after the animation and no framerate , he started the converstation and I stayed put, the blackscreen flashed and no framerate drop.  Not sure if there is a script of something that kicks in when he teleports and I'm not sure I can replicate the issue but I will try and test it.

 

One thing I can't figure out, or forgot how to do are the investor missions at the apartment, I know I did them in 2.0.9 but I can't seem to remember or figure out how to do them now so I can't get my extra whoring accessories(without cheating of course)

 

Finally, the Overboss perk you get at the end, are you required to keep the collar on for the health regen? It was working fine after I took the collar and the perk, I then used my pornstar earnings to buy Home Plate and then turned tricks until I could get Johnny Hacker to remove it for $5k.  I just tested  now and no longer get the healing bonus.  Is that working as intended or an issue?

Hey, thanks for the reports.

 

Rising Porn Star is not over yet, so must continue active. But I will continue it next year. I'll be doing a little update soon - I'll put up a Message Box stating that the mod is done up to that point, when you're done talking to Charlotte. Just so as not to cause confusion.

I'll correct poledance instead of lapdance, lol.

"Rising Porn Star" does not have music. It is likely that there is a music that is not stopping that belongs to another quest. Is it the music that plays when the Overboss rescues you? Now that I think about it, I had to add that song to the Music Manager! 

I'll see about the Overboss not coming back from Drumlin Dinner. To be honest, He did come back in my game (and he was wearing his tuxedo instead of his armor).

I'm sure in 3.1.2 the Overboss has invincibility. He cannot be defeated / enter bleed mode. He has, let's say, the same property as a child. But I'll check it again.

I can't replicate the collar the Overboss can't put on you. The same thing happens to Gamarandi. 

For the mission to visit the Overboss, ask permission from his daughter at the tattoo shop.

The Overboss perk requires: collar + be indoors + crouch. I want to include the mark on the ass as one of the conditions, but I don't know how to do it yet.

This is one of those bugs that I can't replicate. It happens to Naitsaab as well but elsewhere.

I think im getting less wise as i age rather than more. I thought i might try out the Tentacus version but i can't see it on MEGA. I can see 3.1.2 and here is a folder with old versions. If his version is one of those, how can i tell which it is? ?

Welcome to the club mate ?, here you go:, it is not on MEGA, but on the "regular " download page, given that the newer versions are still considered BETA.

That bug you're talking about was a little thing from yesterday. But in version 3.1.2 everything should work.

I did the version from yesterday "Tentacus' version", i installed 3.1.2 and still have issues. Now the robot isnt there at all, in game says Nuka Ride.esp isnt being loaded. Im using MO2 organizer and it says its installed. Also found out that I was missing Badend and something labelled "kziitdanimationposes" which i cant find a download for

Try to uninstall the Tentacus version, if you have not done already, alternatively install 3.1.2 also manually...this way it worked for me. As the poses are concerned, they are made by kziitd, but titled "Daily life of hookers". HTH

Still no luck, unless im searching the wrong pot. I am looking right across the sanctuary bridge. I saw the robot there the 1st time but couldnt interact with it

Well, those are hard requirements. The mod won't start if you don't have them. Read carefully the "PLEASE FUCKIN READ ME" which is in the Mega folder.

Thanks. I plan to extend the Vadim mission next year. Like, pose in a corner after poledance, as part of the night routine.

I thought about including a mission to serve customers, but we better leave that for the Nuka Club.

*The Overboss will now no longer bleed out during his fight. 
*If you win Lucy in The Sky, the Overboss is unavailable for its repeatable mission. This is quite an annoying bug. I have corrected it, but for it to be corrected in your game, it is necessary to load a SAVE before reporting to Charlotte. When you report to finish the Quest Lucy in The Sky, she will run the fix.
*When the "Lucy in the Sky" quest asked you to report to Charlotte, it was pointing to Lucy Abernathy by mistake.
*I rewrote the script where the Overboss put a collar on you in your apartment. See if it solves the problem for a couple of users.
*I added a vapor effect during the marking scene at Andrew Station. Unfortunately it is hardly visible and not what I expected.
*At the end, when you report to Charlotte, you will see a message box indicating that you have reached the end of the mod.
*After marking you, the Overboss says that if you disrespect him he will make "your white ass" redder than his car. I did not consider that there could be protagonists with other skin tones, so he will tell you something more neutral like "your pretty ass".

I remade the Nuka Town navmesh in Creation Kit. I must make them so that the NPCs are aware that there are new interiors.
I put the new song to the Music Manager. You should be able to turn them all off now (except the songs from the apartment and the Studio... and obviously the songs from the radio).

These days I will see if I can improve the bodyslide files. Don't expect big improvement, I'm not very good at it.
