AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I'm finally giving 6.2 a whirl after I told myself I'd wait for CS2 and NR7 before I played through again but couldn't help myself after seeing the changes to Nuka Village and Axaray's amazing additions to the outfits. But for some reason, after I met the OB for the first time and went back to Mason for him to tell me he already returned the flagpole, I'm getting a hard CTD whenever I try to enter the main Nuka Village cell. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

I can still coc and movetoqt in console to go to other cells like the amphitheater and the apartment, so I'm 90% certain that it's the main village that's the issue.

Do you have Buffout installed? I remember the occasional CTD in Nuka Town but they disappeared with installing Buffout.

If you're still having problems, you can post the buffout log here and I'll take a look.

I kind of have a mental block with Slavers. Everything I try seems bland and boring. I think Nuka Ride 6 squeezed a lot out of me. But I wouldn't say I'm burned.

I can't assure you but for me the order would be.

Sounds to me like you are getting burned out, though. Regardless, you should probably take a break now rather than later. Maybe play a different game for a couple of weeks instead of modding? You might even want to reduce screen time for a while.

You know, they say the only way to beat writer's block is to force yourself to keep writing. But, it looks like you have been forcing yourself for a while now. I think taking a break will freshen up your mind so that when you get back to it, you'll be able to figure out why what you've done so far is bland and you can make the adequate changes to it.

Ultimately, it's up to you, you need not worry about your fans, I'm sure they will be supportive. And if for some reason they're not, well fuck them, the priority is to keep your passion alive.

All the best, bro!

Thanks. Yeah, I think I'll listen to you before it gets worse. The good thing is that the ideas and assets are all ready. I just have to write dialogs/codes.

I tried, loading mod and esp exactly in this order, at the bottom. There still are non-black disciple, pack, and operator

I like that word. Devotion. She develops devotion for him. I would add "lust". They are both very sexual beings. There is no love here, at least not the love she might genuinely feel for her husband.

Before I had submissive/rebel routes, in the mod I always wanted Nora to end up as the bad guy's lover from Escape from LA.

I think the word that best fits this girl is "Bitch" -in the literal sense. She is very submissive and playful with her "Master", but to others she shows her fangs and is unruly. A mixture of submission/rebelliousness.

I like this. It is basically how I play my characters. I don't see why the vision could not still be possible even with the routes. I personally make use of both. It makes for great RP. Thats why I like that "head for business" quest so much. Both can be used very well there. I also like the whole devotion thing. Especially if you are someone who played CS before like me. I can see someone being very devoted to someone who protects her but literally go and kill the people who enslaved her previously. The slight overlapping between your two mods is really cool I really like that.

Dude; mental blocks are rough. There's a lot of potential there - but lets be honest; (IMO) the magic of your mods is that they bring the player characters to different locations around the game world and follow game story to get there - with new story paths that are Lore Faithful. Plus CS places us with raiders - turning the protagonist into a "fly on the wall" to over hear the worst laid out plans in the vanilla game. There are only a few mods that places the PC into the ranks of raiders - and do it in way that keep players there. I'm looking forward to seeing where you take CS - are you going to integrate super mutants into the story? Wouldn't it be cool if the PC was one of those voices on the radio pleading for rescue from Super Mutants?!? Like what if Nora is put in the cage at Trinity Tower right before Rex Goodman arrives...? NVM - I get carried away.

I do hope you're able to take the breaks you need; because getting burned out on modding one of these games can sneak up on you when you least suspect.

Cheers.

I read your conversation about Nuka Ride and its quests. I think the format is better suited to create plenty of possibilities in the storytelling. And let's be honest, just doing porn for porn's sake... Not a very interesting gameplay loop. It's more interesting to get to know each of the characters in dramatic or comical situations. Whether you like the mod or not, it's up to you, but the ride works great for many hours!

By the way JB, I will be adding Nuka Ride to my blog in the next few weeks. I have been trying to create a story around it by using everything you've done (while being consistent with the story I'm telling on my side, including Nuka Ride was quite difficult ?) And I totally understand your burnout feeling. I had the same one when I was thinking about my character's adventures ending.

Regarding Commonwealth Slavers, I think a V2 would be enough to conclude the mod. (An extra quest or two, the "good ending" and finishing the twin brothers and Murphy arc). An introduction into a deep, dark Fallout 4 that lasts almost ten hours is a pretty generous gift and I thank you again for it! :D

I'm pretty sure I have it installed but I'll double check since I've been on a Skyrim kick after completing NR6 so my FO4 load order feels like a stranger to me now lol. I can't do testing rn but I'll post it later.

All good take your time! As ckworth mentioned it would probably be best to take a break and get recalibrated, I cant imagine CS being an easy quest to make. Just a suggestion if you want some modding inspiration I can't recommend Dogma's Thief mod for Skyrim enough. That's what's gotten me back into Skyrim and is my second favorite BSG quest mod after Nuka Ride. Otherwise I can understand just wanting to get away from Bethesda games and mods altogether. Either way, best of luck JB take your time!

Well I do have buffout installed and it seems the save(s) may be corrupted? I have no idea how to read this crash log but the couple of saves I was using last night to test my crashes when I entered Nuka Village are now just crashing when I load in :/. I haven't added or removed any mods or changed the load order either for the saves so it shouldn't be that.

Both of these were on two different saves and crashed on load (one inside the apartment and one at the top of Fizztop 1 or 2 scenes before OB lets you go back to Mason), I'll edit this post and add another if I can get back in to test the issue with Nuka Village. For now I'm gonna verify integrity of the game files through Steam and try again.

why do modders make mods if the mods keeps on crashing the game, and if you ask for help they cant help you or dont know what you talking about?

i wanted to play AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod but everytime i go to nuka world i get killed by raiders,

ive tried the mod over and over again but still the same story, all the AAF mods work, but cant seem to make this one work.

But now most of tasks shows she is just a slut, if she shows her fangs, more punishment will occur to her, that leads to sex with nearly each man around OB.

How are you getting to Nuka World? The normal vanilla way? Or via the bots from the mod? If you travel there the vanilla way it'll start you in the obstacle course thing and you'll get attacked. Talk to the protectatron at the Drumlin Diner to get there the way the mod intends if you haven't done that yet.

Don't worry, my protagonist also got the punishment. But she has shown and continues to show her fangs to Gage and Maxson, Longfellow, etc. There must come a point when the OB gets tired and accepts her for who she is.

Especially after NR6 as I think losing his wife should make him change his perspectives a bit more.

OK, basically what you have points to this:

 d3d11.dll

So a problem with your ENB, if you use it. That is, if you don't have an ENB installed, install it. And if you do, uninstall it. Whatever the situation is, that file jumps a lot in your report.

And also a problem with "Shadow Nodes", whatever that is.

So it may be some mod that affects shadows like ShadowBoost (I really doubt it because I have that one too...).

Edit: Ok, I see that you have Vivid Weather - Nuka World.

Try uninstalling that.

My mod edits the Nuka World weather as well.

It is something new from version 6.2.0 but I think I will remove it in the future. It's just that I wanted to test the water fountain with nice, clear weather, and I forgot to take it out in the final version. Mods like Vivid Weahter should take care of that.

I remind you once again (I already told you privately but I saw that you were still sending me private messages which I proceeded to ignore): I do not help by private message and I will not help even if the Pope asks me to. Use the thread like everyone.

As far as I know, in this thread I have tried to help everyone who has asked for help, even if I don't have the slightest clue what is going on I try to give something and HOLY GOD I HAVE JUST SEEN YOUR PROFILE. You don't have the slightest idea how to ask for help do you? Someone forbids you to post in these threads made specifically to ask for help?

But at least now you tried to take the right first step. I'll help if you help, this shit is so simple.

Do you have a CTD? Send me your Buffout report.
Raiders attack you in Nuka World? That's impossible unless you are doing "Taken for a Ride", AKA The Gauntlet. You should not play the DLC quests here.
Have you started the mod as requested on the main page?

I installed it yesterday but it looks like I should get the Legendary  version because I have the Special Edition and the scripts didn't seem to kick in correctly. I sat down at the table with the stranger and everything stopped after a fade to black. It seems to be a common problem so I started doing setstage until I got to Riften Prison, where another scene froze my character again. I prefer to play it as smoothly as possible.

I haven't played Thief, but Skyrim's problematic moments are very similar to F4.
For example, freezing of the character after a scene in Skyrim and endless loading in F4. It seems to be absolutely different problems, but they occur at the same moment and for the same reason: starting a scene with an active script window. Remember the endless loading caused by the message "You decided to stay until mignight" in NR, if this were Skyrim, that message would cause character freezing.

You once mentioned mod "Wartimes - a daughter's tale", I decided to try it, and this mod is full of such messages. Since I have bad English, I read slowly, and I had to replay dozens of times because I didn't press "OK" in time in the script message, and I got a character freeze.

Skyrim can be a good way to "cleanse" your mind when you're playing Bethessa games. "I used to be  a modder like you... then my dog stepped on a bee"

Hi JB

About a month ago I mentioned that I wasn't able to complete the main quest in Far Harbor as one of the 3 tasks you have to do with Dima's memories wasn't activating properly, the quest is the one where you have to find Captain Avery's skull etc in the Vim Pop factory, no marker appeared.  At the time I wondered if it was due to me removing a mod that changed Far Harbor as it conflicted with the update to Nukaride which added FH to the mod.

This play through I finished Nukaride before going to Far Harbor using the traditional route.  Nick's assistance told me that the daughter had disappeared so I travelled to the Nkano's residence, found the holotape and then went to Far Harbor.  Arriving only Alan was waiting and the Captain was nowhere to be found, I went and checked the whole of the town.

The only thing I can think off is that both are linked and it has only happened since 6 launched; is it possible that you moved the Captain, so she didn't interfere with Nukaride and that has caused the issue?  I don't use anything that changes Far Harbor (well apart from a Chinese Bunker from the Remanets mod); so thought I should flag it as it is a bit of a pain, as I really like doing the Far Harbor quest.

Oh no lol, if it's D3D I don't know what it is I think it's a corrupt Windows file that no amount of system repairs has fixed. It shows up very regularly for me with games in Unreal Engine specifically crashing with the error "D3D Device lost." And to this point, everything I've tried to fix it hasn't worked :(. I do have enb so I can try to remove that, in fact I think I removed my enb last time I played NR/F4 and it did run a lot smoother crash-wise. I also have ShadowBoost but yeah by what my untrained eye can tell that doesn't seem to be an issue I've used it in nearly every load order since that mod was published and never caused me problems.

I did manage to get the saves to load by just brute forcing it and repeatedly loading them over and over till they worked. After that Nuka Village crashed one more time and now it's running fine again. I was playing in survival mode and using the mod Survival Options to save with a hotkey and I'm beginning to think that the way this mod saves was causing a lot of my issues. After turning off its save features and changing the difficulty off of survival, the saves seem to be much more consistent in loading now.

Strange, I've played through it on SE a few times with almost no issues, such is the life of modding Bethesda games lmao. But I can assure you it is fantastic when it "just works"?

Saw this on my TikTok today, and yeah, sounds about right lol.

It's definitely my mod.

Stage 95 from "Fly me to the Moon" - activated when you take off from Far Harbor- should put her back to enabled state. This is a new stage that I added after your report a month ago. It is not even listed in the stages guide. But maybe there's something else I'm not quite getting.

Also one thing I've noticed that I think is new since the last time I played is that the PC is just ever so slightly too high during AAF scenes. I think it could be caused by the new outfit changes and heels but I'm not certain. Is there a way to raise one actor's height in AAF like you can with ";" in sexlab for Skyrim? If not it's such a small difference I can live with it.

Also I use Atomic Muscle instead of Body Talk if that could be it too.
