Is Porter Gage there? I believe you have to talk to him while sitting down before the Doc opens the door. Going off of memory right now.

thanks for your reply , i just reinstalled every animation pack but still get the same issue. might it be a load order problem then?

For some reason that I still don't know, Maxson appears to some people above the water fountain, floating in the air, but as if he were sitting down. One of these days I'll get it reproduced and see how to fix it. 

If you see him, click on him and type "resurrect"; that will reset him

@JB. Hello again

I saw one of your posts talking about creating animations for your mod, (*fisting I think.) One animation that was a surprise was that gangbang in Commonwealth Slavers; which now that I've played thru Nuka Ride a few times, I was a little disappointed that the "gangbang" the protagonist can initiate on the BOS oil rig was just a 3 v 1 and 4 v 1 blow bang. Wouldn't it be cool if she did a massive anything goes bang with her new BOS friends?!?

Asking for a Friend.

PS:  If this is something you're already working on - then Never Mind ?

Every playthrough I did he was ontop the fountain. What I did to fix him is just when you go to the overboss for that quest open console target him and close the console go up the lift to the overboss before talking just open console and do moveto player and the scene fires normally.

The biggest issues I have with Nuka Ride are mod conflicts and weird interactions with other mods.

 

For instance I run MAIM in my game and I on numerous occasions died while being whipped because the other person (mostly the overboss) hit me two times in the head.

Similarly the "dialogue fights with the dogs" cripple one leg, one arm and the head. But since for some reason after the dialogue ended the HP is back to normal the medicine to actually heal the crippled limbs does not work. Only a "player.resethealth" does.

 

When boarding a vertibird in a quest nothing happens until I cheat the quest stage forward. That likely is an interaction with ... I don't know.

 

In Far Harbor I have two NPC with clothes spasm and fucked up visuals. Short of disabling those random NPC without a name it can't be fixed.

 

 

Btw. in my first encounter with Maxson he wasn't on the patio either. Don't know where he was, but the overboss clearly talked to him.

Since he teleported to the couch for the sex scenes I didn't deem that a crucial bug.

what do you mean by falling ? textures disappearing, invisible walls... ?

I had the same issues running MAIM so I usually spammed in console to equip surgery kits (or whatever MAIM calls them I forget, the ones that heal everything) during those scenes and that solved my issue. It probably wouldn't hurt to be listed as a minor conflict for the mod.

Hmm, that's interesting because I use the Torture Devices whip and those whips don't cause any damage. 

 

My mod causes damage in the middle of the whipping (precisely because the whip doesn't). My mod grabs your HP total and takes a third off it, plus runs a script that causes random damage to your head or arm. 

 

I suspect the latter is the culprit. I can include an option in the MCM so that whipping doesn't cause damage /  doesn't run damage scripts.

I don't know how to create animations, my idea was to superimpose two different animations but I'm afraid I won't get it, but it's not a big deal. 

 

It's a good suggestion, right now the Moon of Steel population is 5 women and 6 men, but I need 10 men. I can put the girls in there but it doesn't quite look natural to me. I'll think about it if it doesn't take up too much of my time.

Did you do the final promotion with your "sister" and Corsican? That's the ending mark for the mod where you answer some questions; once you're done with that you will receive a popup message telling you that you've finished Nuka Ride

Your mod is fantastic! U breath new life to this game. It's fantastic! :D I was wondering, is there any good ways to actually change Colter's look? It is more for compatibility issues with other mods. Thought about doing it in the way of console commands. But then realised that u probably call for a new version of Colter each time he has a scene, and that he will reset each time. But are u actually calling him from his original look in Nuka World DLC? I mean, can I do a npc edit of him in creation kit using nuka world.esm as master, and that will change his look in ur mod? Or is he created by you, and therefor will have to be edited in ur mod, and updated each time you update your mod? Just wondering if u have any good tips! :) If it is as easy as me just console slm him, then I would be so happy! Again, thank u for this mod. Love it!!!

Click on colter in console to get his ID then slm [ID] should work just fine. I had an issue with the synth sister because I was often changing my own PC in slm and it would change her too, so I used slm to change her back. I would recommend making a preset before you do just in case your changes do get removed somehow so you can quickly reapply them.

slm console sadly didn't work right. But thank you for your helpful intention.

Still, you rascal JB, here I was Nuka Ride and the rest of the wasteland is not interesting at all. It's like a good show, when you watch a season and wait for the next one, waiting for "What's next..."  I remember it was like that with Game of Thrones. Written from a desperate attempt to entertain myself in the wastelands, sorry and good luck, as well as creative inspiration and strength in development !

Eventully, sfer a fair few restarts, Gage appears sitting in the waiting room and the whole quest progresses as it should.  No idea what I did or didn't do to kick it off.

I know there was some dire warning about mentioning this, I think, because I can't find it now but here goes.  I have updated Nuka ride to latest version and down loaded Nuka Ride Bodyslide.  Everything, including all clothing, is functioning fine; until we get to Dolled up and the new outfits added there (so far Bubblegum and Primadonna) are rendering the body invisible, leaving only head, hands and feet as well as the overbosses brands floating in mid air or should I say, derrière.  I have searched my computer and these outfits files have not been down loaded anywhere.  Now, I have had a search to see if this has been covered and I haven't seen anything.  Is there anywhere I can find these files and down load them?
