AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Basically, this mod adds an element that helped make Fallout the success it is, namely in FO2 which featured slavery, violence, porn, drugs, prostitution, etc.   That said, it is the world as you want to make it, so asking a specific mod author to "make me make my PC do your mod" is a tall order, especially with the diverse set of mods out here on the net.     I am not telling you that you do not have a point, but I am guessing that, like me, you want to limit your ability to "game" the system (like carrying 20000 tons of concrete between settlements0, and finds it more immersive if you were forced to make some pros and cons decisions. 

 

I strongly recommend that you adjust your economy to be extreme punishing so that you will get very little from selling scrap, but you can still keep prices from being way too expensive.     Also, I would like a mod that types supple and demand to selling of stuff, like a limit (a merchant only wants so many laser rifles so the price keeps going down as you sell them), but I digress.   Here is the mod I suggest for you:

I appreciate the feedback, but I think you missed the point of my post.  I'll take the fault for that for not being clear enough.  My original post to JB was only an idea to give the character some incentive to return to Nuka World after the first visit.  The incentive exists for the first trip - simple curiosity.  However after wandering around Nuka World and then having sex with a dog to get back home, there doesn't seem to be any incentive to return to Nuka World, and no indication that I need to speak with Shank to continue playing the mod.  I presented one possible idea out of many as to how to integrate the incentive for a return trip into this mod.  That was my entire point.  The parenthetical at the end was just a wish, and it has been brought up earlier in this forum that there's currently no support for a male playthrough.  I didn't expect any traction there, just voicing my hopes.  On further playthrough as a futa, I had the same AAF no animation error on all of the Animations for the Audition with Mason.  However the animation with the housewife/plumber scene, dancing for Danny, and the scene with the Mayor all played normally.  So that's interesting.  It seems the mod isn't completely incompatible for a futa playthrough,  though some scenes clearly don't work.  If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on this, I'd appreciate it. But overall, it seems clear from the comments that this mod isn't yet a finished product, so

my previous comment wasn't a request to JB to make his mod do something to work with Mod X,  but instead a suggestion as to further develop his Nuka Ride mod.  Once he's back to 100% of course.

 

I'll check out the Game Configuration Menu mod you shared, though at first glance it seems it would conflict or overwrite many of the features of Advanced Needs II.

I went to Nuka World through through the Sanctuary protectron. But when I arrived at Nuka World, nothing happened. I tried to talk to Shank but nothing happened as well. How can i start the quest?

I got the Quest Become a Pornstar and meet the Actor on the 4th floor, but there is no one on there, only a Questmarker floating in the Air. I tried to reinstall, or a new Game(cuz I first got a problem with Shank, he did not appear too, but iI solved this with a new Game), but always the same. I also tried to spawn him ( I guess it`s Billy) via .placeatme but i only got the "Syntax not found" respond. Have anyone of you guys a solution for my problem?

Ok love the mod very much and look forward to more content in the future. I have one question about the piercings. After I returned to the commonwealth got jumped right away and lost everything including the piercing after being robbed during through aaf violate. More info then needed lol anyway want to know if they have id numbers i can use in console commands to have them back in my inventory.

If you don't feel like opening the ESP in FO4Edit and digging around in the armor references, you could browse the plugin with ESP Explorer and get the piercings back that way.

 

Edit: Also don't forget you can just keyword search with the console too... help piercing 4 armo

I got same issue, but i've already completed those 2 quests for ads. Shank doesnt respond to me when trying to talk to him. :<

Go back to the robot to get a ride back to the commonwealth and choose to work out a deal instead of paying him. He will then give you the option to dance or film with the dog. After that when you return Shanks should then give you the quest. But if you already did the ads i got nothing else

yeah hoping not to have to dig around files looking for it, but will try help in console command see if that works if not guess i'll be searching for the references. Thanks for the help

went to nuka world thru protectron nearby sanctuary hills -> danced -> went back to commonwealth -> came back to nuka world -> approached shank and he didnt say any word. I'm lvl 30 and listened to nuka world broadcast only.
Tried every possible combination.

Is AAF Violate the only way?

Used to be you could drop them out of your inventory like any other apparel item.  Open pipboy, highlight item, hit the shortcut key for drop.

 

If that no longer works, your only recourse is console commands:

help "tongue piercing" 4

player.unequipitem XXXXXXXX [whatever form ID number is found for the tongue piercing]

 

Repeat for "facial piercings".

Hello!  I too am running into the same issue where Shank isn't doing anything.  There's no dialog there.  I've done both videos, dance and hardcore.  I've even done them several times at this point, but still nothing:  I go to the protectron outside of Sanctuary (I have both paid and gone the free option), arrived to Nuka World, spent the day there just running around looting, and at the end of the day I go to protectron outside of Nuka, do the video, go back to Sanctuary, return to Nuka World the following day, and... nada.  I've even waited a full 24 hours before returning, having quested some in the Commonwealth before returning.  I am actually now in day five of returning to Nuka World, having made four videos, but still nothing from Shank.  Clearly I'm missing something or I don't know.

By the way, yes, I am on a new game and I have never been to Nuka World.   I am using Vortex and the load order is automatically set by Vortex.  However, I did force it to last, but that didn't seem to do anything either.

There's an outfit?  I'm confused, there was no outfit offered by either protectron.  I looked around the protectrons both there at Sanctuary and Nuka and didn't find anything.  Where is this outfit, or how do I get it?  I do have both Easy Girl and HN66s installed.  Maybe that's what I'm missing, because, yeah, Shank just won't talk to me.  Currently, my toon is wearing just a Nuka World outfit from the base game.

Edit:  Okay, right, never mind.  It's working now -- Shank is talking!!  I'm not sure what fixed it:  either the fact that I did a clean save and reinstall (which is a big bummer as all that content lost for reverting my save prior to going to Nuka World) or that I installed the High Heel System, which wasn't previously installed.  Whatever I did, it's working now.  ?

Which outfit? I found "mason outifit" and "mini jeans" - tried wearing them and vanilla clothes too. Shank is still quiet.

Hey just installed this mod yet I can't seem to get it to work, I have all the requirements, AAF is working perfectly etc. but I go to the bridge and theres no protectron or car, tried reinstalling the mod, tried using different versions of aaf to no avail, it's last in my plugins load order but still no dice!

First, there is no outfit for talking to Shank, you just get a tat and that isn't required as I have ran the quest without slave tats when it first came out.    Second, was Shank talking to one of the traders.  She gives him a tip about some settlement that is prime for the raiding and he thanks her.   I wait until he is back leaning against the wall then approach him.   When you do talk to him, does he even look at you?  

 

In any event, you aren't the only one reporting this kind of issue.    Maybe something with XDI (extended dialogue).    I am tapped out of suggestions.

I turned off XDI, he looks at me but nothing in subtitles appears besides my character saying Hi/Hello/Hey. I waited til he's leaned on the wall. I'll try to do a new run tomorrow where i go straight there out of vault. In comparision to OlBenny I already have HHS installed.

As for last in your load order is of significance only if you are using MO2.  Iv you are using vortex, then during install it would note the conflicts and ask you which one do you want to be primary.   That said, others have reported (with other mods, not this one so far) that Vortex doesn't always work that way with  mods.   Which mod organizer are you using?

 

I am using vortex and it detected no conflicts upon install so it's not that >.<

MaupaRez, if you're like me and explored some in Nuka World, you'll have to revert your save to one prior to talking to the protectron there at Sanctuary.  Actually, I would advise doing this even if you didn't explore Nuka World at all:  Revert you save to one prior to talking to the Sanctuary protectron and then uninstall the mod.  (Oh, make sure you have those outfit mods installed as listed on the OP, including the High Heels System.  I didn't have the latter.  And, if in case you're curious, I'm using Extended Dialogue Interface, not XDI).  After doing so, get back in-game and save it.  Load that save and save it again.  (Don't overwrite the existing saves, create a new ones).  After doing all that, exit the game and install Nuka Ride. 

Completing those steps fixed it for me:  I talked to the Sanctuary protectron, paid to be taken there (I don't think that really matters), talk to the Nuka World protectron and did the dance (based off earlier posts, as long as you don't pay the caps to be taken back), went back to Sanctuary, talked to the protectron there again, returned to Nuka World, and voila, Shank talked!

I agree with Robbie2000 as I too am using Vortex and I have no issues, after I fixed my previous issue.  I'm very confident in saying that the mod manager isn't the issue.  I did force the esp to load last in my load order just for good measure, but I think it's very likely indeed that it could be left to be loaded by default by Vortex (well, Loot actually, but Vortex users know what I mean).

I have now fixed the issue turns out not all of my DLCs were installed, although the mod states it only needs the nukaworld dlc it also requite the automatron dlc to function... might wanna add that to the requirements list...

Yeah, Contraption Workshop, which is weird because I don't use any assets from there, unless my robots need something from there.

 

 

About Shank. I've been reading a similar problem in Skyrim, specifically in Wartimes, where some NPCs don't speak some dialog. It seems that checking the "Reserve Reference"/ "Allow Rerserved" box will reserve my mod's npcs and prevent others from using / blocking it for some reason. So if someone still can't talk to Shank/Protectron in Nuka World, I just have uploaded a hotfix with the aliasses reserved.

 

Includes Mason's repeatable mission fix.
