The next update is more of an English language fix from Tentacus, and a bugfix and various tweaks also from him that I think improve the experience a lot. At most, I will include a small quest that will serve as a bridge for the new ones: choose a new name (like the RailRoad mission where you choose a codename).

With the addition that I will force that change to the name of your character (it will be seen in the dialogs and also in your saves). ?

Tentacus has been teaching me several tricks as well (he has the patience of a saint), because I continue working on my new quests in a separate esp, which I will inject into the main mod when I have it finished ... and for that I do not have a date yet.

Yep,tought as much. You are right about mental gymnastics of an Overboss being porn actress on the side. :D I guess Ill just not take that train after all.Yep, this is why Im waiting for the update, and havent played the lastest version(am following the topic and saw you two ironing things out thus ill hold). Take all the time in the world with this mod. Your work(and Tenacious's for that matter) actually add a lot more nuance(all  aint just reduced to a simple  fuck fest ). Thanks for the quick reply. ?

Finally found time to start playing through again, and I've gotten myself stuck on the motorcycle quest. I danced for the guard at the entrance and he told me to talk to the Mayor. I have the quest active and the quest marker follows the mayor around, but he'll only welcome me to his fair city or say he's too busy to talk or has somewhere to be. I sat through the "I am not a synth" speech, spent a couple of nights at the Dugout Inn, he still won't talk to me about the motorcycle. Do I need to wait for something else to happen before his dialogue for that will become available? Like the shootout in the street with Kyle maybe?

This is a fresh playthrough straight out of the Vault where I've done really nothing except hitch a ride with the protectron a couple times, filmed the hardcore advert, had my tryout with Mason, did the plumber scene for Mr. Corsican, and then accepted the motorcycle quest and rode to DC. Nuka Ride is the very last plugin in my load order (except for ESLs and ESL-flagged ESPs since they technically get loaded after everything else anyway). I've confirmed the Mayor is the normal refID from fallout4.exe and not a clone from some potentially conflicting mod like Depravity. I've tried toggling off Player Comments and Head Tracking since I've seen it occasionally cause similar problems in other mods... Is there anything else I should check to get to the bottom of this?

Thanks in advance for whatever ideas anyone manages to come up with.

Are you sure you are playing the latest version ? In my games, I didnt have to have any interaction with the Mayor at all. The guy at the entrance asked for entertainment for his friend Travis, the guy on the Diamond City Radio station.

Yes, 2.0.9 plus the BBC Tattoos patch. I think the quest is supposed to randomly choose between sending you to the Mayor or Travis, right? I also went to talk to Travis on a whim to see if that branch of the quest would work instead, but he just does the usual stuttering and guffawing from his vanilla dialogue.

The Mayor needs the following:

That you wear actress clothes, like the one Corsican gives you.

That Sullivan sent you to him after you danced for him (Sullivan gives you a keyword that the Major expects to find).

If the mod points to the head of the Major, it means that the alias has been filled out correctly.

sqv _NukaRide_TheBike

Possible solutions:

Save and reload.

If possible, reload a game before talking to Sullivan.

Post data: Sullivan sends you the Mayor if you flirt with him (tell him that you are going to use the motorcycle to shoot porn). He sends you to Travis if you want "another way to make an agreement to get the bike back."

Thanks! This wasn't clear, and I had changed back into "street clothes" (cappy shirt and jeans) after the shoot. Sullivan didn't seem to care, but I guess Mayor McDonough is more picky. ?

I've installed the 1.0.1 at the very beginning of my new run, and went at NW only once right after installing it. And didn't went back anymore, as I saw that you kept updating it.

So my question is, can I updated it anytime now (or later with another updates) or is better that I remove it, do a clean save and reinstall the newest version?

Also, should I send away my companions or they can stay with me?

You can uninstall version 1.01 and install the new one without problems. It does not affect your savegame. Only thing: this new version does not know that you already made any trips in version 1.01 so you will have to travel again from Sanctuary to Nuka World to start the Porn studio quests. You can go with your companion, but I have not made content for companions. They will be decorative, heh.

QoL idea... I generally play on survival (well, technically Advanced Needs 2) along with an inventory limiter (Scavver's Closet) so am often keeping an eye out for available food and drink. As an aspiring pornstar and studio assistant, I'm on the go a lot and don't have time to seek out provisions, so it would be really cool if the studio would regularly replenish some refreshments, like maybe in the kitchen/concessions area (snacks, booze, recreational drugs).

Oh cool! As I'm also using AAF Spectators maybe they'll comment my actions. Anyway, would be possible in the future to add something for commpanions as well? Either "on theyr own" or "with me" for threesomes or foursome.

Any plans to make this work for people who completed nuka world? Or at least giving us the quest triggers for console?

You can play it being Overboss. But it's up to you to try to understand how a raider says "Hey, Overboss" and then "Hey, girl, come here I'll spank your ass" ?

The idea is very simple to implement. But after ten days you would have ten purified waters and 20 muitfruits in the studio refrigerator. This is dangerous. I have to make a way to stop the count, but I am not a coder. I'll see what I can do because I also play survival.

Right, I was imagining having the items only respawn if removed. No idea what that entails though.

Bueno, usas CBBE o Fusion Girl?

even after putting this last in my LO, i still fail becoming a porn star as soon as it starts. no idea whats going on.

I remember that happened to VaultBait. It has a mod where the Nuka World raiders are your enemies in the Commonwealth (or something like that). In Nuka Ride you are not an enemy of the Pack, you are a person protected by them. And if for some mod that changes, you lose Nuka Ride.

i dont even have anything that would make the raiders of nuka world hostile by default. see, this worked fine before a certain update. i know i couldnt take any of the armor off when i got this to work right.
