If you start a new game the box will not be floating in the air....that is ingrained into your save game still sitting on the none existent coffee table.  It won't be there on a new game.

Just pointing out that there isnt' anything wrong with that quest.....it works just fine as is in my opinion...I don't think there needs to be any change to the dialog telling you who to go see at the market because the quest pip shows you where to go....I just loaded a save just before talking to music and she tell you to go to the market to get the chems and the pip changes showing you where to go....so all is good....MrNicoras was saying that it was confusing on who to go talk to about the chems....

Exactly this.  Also, I didn't have the miscellaneous quest flagged (didn't even realize there was a miscellaneous quest).  If I had, I'm sure I would've gotten the quest marker.

As for your AAF problem, remember to look at the aAF admin panel and show me the screenshot.

I just tested with Nuka Ride version 5.0.3 and it works perfectly  with it

I've been checking and haven't changed the script for months, which basically asks for a BP70 animation. I'll try to reproduce it and keep an eye out for more users with that problem.

I play with a Nuka Ride 4.2.4 save
the problem may come from there i had other problem at Codman when i did the Nisha quest the animation didn't match with the text and a quest blocked with travis

Did one last check on mods before I start and what do I find when I've been semi-away for 3 weeks while in laws are in town, version 5.04!!!  Super excited to try this out and it just happens that was starting a new game anyway, so time to take a Ride!!

By the way, how do you feel your progress is going? I'm not demanding a timeline or commitment, no, but if you don't mind me asking, how do you yourself feel this mod is ready in % ratio? I mean, how long, roughly, should it be before it's ready according to your feelings? Like days, weeks, or more?

Something I've been wondering.  I play with a character whose height is set at .84.   I've posted about this in the past.  It bugs me that my "twin" towers over me.  With the Sister character, there's no obvious entry in xEdit under NPC.  Up until v.5, my vote for the most obvious choice was _NR_Doppelganger.  Setting the Doppelganger height to .84 seems to work.  However, in v.5 there are two Doppelganger NPCs.   The one I mentioned above, and also _NR_Doppelganger_GGS. 

 

So Question 1:  Is the _NR_Doppelganger the NPC entry for the synth Twin?

     Question 2:  If question 1 is yes, then what is _NR_Doppelganger_GGS?  (Sister companion?)

     Question 3:  If question 1 is yes, then why are the Headparts and Voice type set to "male" options.  (screenshot).  (( This would explain why the sister character has a male voice in   

                         the synthetic voice file)

     Question 4:  If question 1 is no, then is there an xEdit entry for the Twin, and if so, what is it?

This is a problem with the voiceovers you downloaded in a separate forum thread.

Uninstall it and download the voiceover, which is available in the main NR download section. Then the sister will speak in a normal FEMALE voice.

Having an odd issue.

 

Completed Lucy in the sky, and went back to talk to Charlotte.  Quest currently says "Talk to Charlotte when you feel ready."  When i go to talk to her, she says to go talk to Corsican.  But he just has the normal stuff about recording stuff.

So, I have the problem of the esp file not being recognized by the game despite being installed properly. I have reinstalled the game several times, and every version of Nuka Ride after I downloaded the tentacus version a while back have also had the same problem. The mod even shows up in MCM, but it says the esp is missing, despite the esp being in the right spot. Pulling my hair out here, pls halp ?

Is one of the options to go visit Mason?  If so go visit Mason and do that and then go back and talk to him....I recall I got something similar....Maybe because there can only be so many option unless you use XDI maybe.....

If you are using Vortex, you need to create a plugin group called last load then put  NukaRide and all NR patches in that group.....then go to manage groups....delete the line that goes to "last load" and redraw it from the last group like I show in this picture.  This will insure that you have it loaded last.....that should fix your problem permanently.  I have had nothing but problems with vortex and its load order till I figured this out.  And you only have to do this once....then when you download a new version of NR, it will always go into Last Load group by itself.  You can change what group a plugin is in by double clicking the plugin and in the right pane select the group.

Congrats on a big release. Glad to see you're still pushing.

And like a good old friend, the init dialogue with caps is still bugged :) This time in a different way though. If PC has enough caps, the protectron still wants to "do her". Reason is simple: first, you check the caps on "subject" (and not PC) in at least one of the INFO records. Second - it looks like there's some issue with setting quest stages. I chose to let the eyebot lead the PC to the protectron (a nice touch btw!) - and sqs confirms my finding:

(done) 1
(not set) 3
(done) 5
(not set) 10
(not set) 20
(not set) 25
(not set) 50
(not set) 100

 

(You check for stages 0, 10, 50 or 100) This means that - first, the wrong branch will be triggered, and - second, it's not as easy as just to change the condition target to the "reference 14" (because if I do that, there will be no options available for the protectron to use in that response which will bug the scene). Bottom line: something is odd with setting quest stages. I can check the scripts of course, but I figured you'd do it much faster as you know what is where.

 

EDIT: On a premise that the caps condition is fixed, setting the stage to say 10 will serve as a workaround here (as it lets the condition to pass)

I do use XDI, did Dance, Plumber and Mason and only option left was the other work/scenes and did each one of those and nothing.  Even went to music to do another Overboss visit and still nothing.  Quest seems to be stuck.  Unless i have to do all options at the end of the Overboss visit.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I did all of this and mcm is still saying esp is missing, and nuka ride doesn’t boot up. I might need the original tentacus file maybe? Unfortunately I deleted it, and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere I can redownload  it

I downloaded the voice file from the Mega Link.  I'll take another look.

When all else fails, use SetStage to advance.  I have to do it often because my mod order creates strange conflicts that are not obvious in xEdit.  For example: Never once has my game registered the overboss' dirty laundry when I put it in the washing machine, and i have to advance using setstage.

Maybe try reloading and talking to the female director again I believe Corsican takes you into the new filming sets after you talk to him.....not sure what setstage that would be.
