But I don't have the key even after I filmed serveral times... Could it be a bug or something? I remember after I filmed "The Plumber", Corsican just gave me caps as reward, and I didn't receive the apartment key...

 

If I get the key from console directly, will there be any problems?

Yep, just crashed again.  I also disabled the real handcuffs as the tip on the main page had pointed out, still no go.  I will now try without any of the Nuka Ride bodyslide files active.  I have had this issue at times since Nuka Ride 4.3, but it was more intermittent with that prior version.

no, 41 shows not set. Does that mean only if the stage 41 is "set", will I get the key?

That's my best guess based on what the quest looks like in xEdit.  Certainly won't hurt to try.

Would you consider uploading Golden Globes radio as a standalone mod for non Nuka Ride playthroughs? I miss having it on my main character lol.

First, no complaints, no problems.

 

I completed v 4.6 the other day and spent the last couple days absorbing the experience. I loved it. What a great ride (no pun intended). I loved the story, the alternative view of Nuka World and its people and what is really going on there in contrast to busting in and killing Colter in vanilla FO4.

 

The characters were cool. Loved seeing some characters from outside Nuka World (no spoilers!). I normally don't care much for synthesized voices but here they added their own charm to the characters. I loved the dialogue options and the sense that my choices mattered.

 

The entire playthrough ran smoothly. I had no problems at all excepting one animation that didn't play. 

 

Huge kudos to you for pulling this off. I can't wait to see where the story goes next. I just downloaded 5.04, so will find out soon. Keep it up, please!

@JB. Believe i found the issue, can't really believe it myself.  After pulling my hair out yesterday trying to figure out why stuff was breaking.  Last night half asleep in bed, it popped into my head, these issue might be because of loose scripts.  Don't remember ever dropping loose scripts into my Data folder.  But there they where Data\Scripts\Fragments, stuff from 2021.  Cleaned them out and did a quick check of getting the nuka apartment key and it worked.  Will check everything from The Audition and onward later.

Which reminds me, I added four more songs to the radio. You can still play with Nuka Ride installed and without having to do the quests. 

It's not a mod that constantly uses background scripting, it just triggers scripts during my quests. It will not affect the performance of the game.

I think you were playing version 4, and suddenly you switched to version 5. 

 

I know I wrote that it is safe to upgrade to the latest version but I was referring to those playing version 5, I should have clarified that. 

 

In version 5 some things change. Consider restarting.

The problem is not the mesh (TWB, CBBE, FG) but, by the looks of it, the skeleton. Use Zex Skeleton. I know you are not the first to have problems with other experimental equeletons. 

 

Check the mod page of the skeleton you use and look at the bug report section.

Damn, thank goodness! Anyway, your report of the conversation with Maxson was correct and helped me to fix it. Let me know of anything unusual that prevents you from advancing forward by normal means. ?

I can't say 100% for 5.x+ but in 4.x and lower(since JB made the apartment) I would use the console command and just "unlock" the door right away for a bed and shower because I didn't realize there was one in GG studios until a late play-through on 4.x and I needed a shower to not die from "Get Dirty".  I never had a a problem with Nuka Ride due to unlocking early, so I kinda doubt if it will break anything when you should already have access.  Once again though, your mileage may vary as I  didn't use console commands on this version 5.x as Corsican gave it to me after the first scene.

 

IMO, to get the full Nuka Ride experience start a new game and come up from V111 with a brand new level 1 girl and enjoy the new start.  @JB. has done such an awesome job with the start considering in 2.x Charon was just standing across the Sanctuary Bridge and now you get whisked away by Duke and never even see Sanctuary if you want.  Basically this is the best alt start mod, because it 100% changes the start of the game, which is a pretty dreadful plot in Vanilla.

thx, I have restarted a new game. I had played it for a long time, and you're right, it deserves.

5.0.4d The Special Girls:  Breaks around the time of the fight.  PC wins the fight but gets screwed.  Tessa surrenders as in AAF Violate.  Dialog goes slightly askew but I go visit the special girls anyway and convince them to leave.  During attack I lead them to the car but no Tessa so no escape.  Oh, and one of the teens had a black forehead as someone pointed out earlier.

no trouble with dialog 
some timing trouble in maxon sample quest (after sex scene )x cross scene began after 25 30 se( aaf setings from vortex install)
some bunny tail glich in couple aaf scene
some troble with handcuffs in sniff quest (removed from pc but still equiped in inventory and need couple click to remove) so beggar whore mod may screaw your dialog check this before start your dialog ))
do not use autonomy enchanted or disable it (nuka club ) sex sex sex everywhere but trouble to start dialog 
sh aproach must be disable all time you play nuka (or dialog can be broken)
an 76 users (set needs to maks time ) just advise)))
with other mods like fnb fpe and others no problem(for people who use this )

This thing goes fast  I just noticed there is a version 5.0.4, while I'm on 4.2.4... is there any upgrade path, or can I just install the 5.x over the current one?

Hey.....I recall something about this happening to me when I first started the  Mod a long time ago......I deleted all of my Physics stuff.  I downloaded just CBP for FO4 and installed that....then in Bodyslide I chose CBBE Physics for the body along with the Curvy preset......I modified that in the sliders and built that body.  Then I batch built the clothes.  I did not get any CTD's after that.  I think it was due to how the shoe use physics work....When I take off any of the shoes the body piercings do not line up with the body, but when I put them on then the piercing are fine......because of how the two types of physics work, body versus clothes....there is two types of physics in FO4 as I understand it.  You have clothes physics and you have body physics.  If you mix the two you can get CTD's......So....try uninstalling all your physics mods and then run the game and see what happens....then install just CBP and try it again.

I did the same thing Monday morning!!!! 5.0.4x is the first release of 5.x on the main LL page and that came out Monday. I had been away the past month myself and was pleasantly surprised that 5.x was out. You might be able to upgrade from 4.2.4 if all the quests were done and you were waiting for the next quest, but as I said above, it's worth starting over.

 

Even if you just play NR and go back to another older character later, the start coming up out of the vault is really good now and transforms the rather crappy vanilla start and instead whisks you right away on a Ride!! 

 

Plus with the xVASynth voice files, it really adds to the mod, and it's worth experiencing all the way though.

after reading Lucy's fan letter and talking to Charlotte, Charlotte said there are new outfit in my apartment. But there is no outfit in my apartment and no new quests.(Stuck at  _NukaRide_Movies2 35;    Start Lucy Quest).

If I have to manually activate the quest with console, which should be the one I am looking for?

Just install the xVASynth download after Nuka Ride into it's own folder in MO2 or Vortex, also grab the new Bodyslide files for 5.0+ and don't forget to rebuild.  Finally be sure to have F4z Ro D-oh and the fix for it as JB mentioned if you hadn't done previously for 4.x or anything else.

Nice to see this updated. Thanks. Question, sorry if it's been asked previously but I am updating from 4.2.3 and I completed the whole plot/quests available up to that point. Now I would like to go back to there and try the new quests. I have not entered Nuka World by the normal DLC story/plot because I left it to go do other side-quests/levelling up.

 

My question is thus. The original protectron/taxi to take you there is gone from sanctuary bridge and the new eyebot doesn't spawn or appear for some reason.

Is there an in-character/role play method to get back there or am I being a numpty and missing a location already in-game to go to ?

Did I miss or accidently drop a "teleporting" tape to get back ?

If none of the above, is there command console option to teleport me there ?

Appreciate any help/guide.
