AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Aside from the Nuka World story line are there any other major vanilla quests I should avoid when using Nuka World?  I love the idea and opportunities to play and do things without constant fighting but do want to be able to do things other than just Nuka Ride itself such as settlement building, wasteland exploration, and the like.  I don't mind losing the Nuka World storyline as I detest conquering the settlements that I put so much time and effort into building up, but would Far Harbor or any of the main faction quests be affected?

I don't know if this is still a problem because JB has changed a lot of things since the beginning.  The problem with doing other quests is that if you kill an NPC that is needed, it can cause a NR quest to not initiate due to not having the actor available.....JB started to clone the actors he needed so I am not sure this is still a problem.  It caused a huge problem for those that killed a lot of the Gunners from their HQ building since NR has a quest at that location.  So the answer from me is Maybe Bad...lol

So the patch/new version solved the crash issue, but High Heel Training will stop recognizing if high heel are worn or not, I have yet to find when exactly, but so far I've been using "player.setav hhtheelstatus 0" or "player.setav hhtheelstatus 1" after checking my high heel status to correct it accordingly.

The bug must be on high heel training side, but the mod author doesn't seem very present on this site.

I don't have that mod installed and have never used it, but JB has added tags to the HH in his mod so AAF doesn't take them off.....you can use other HH that are not included in NR....have you tried that.....you can modify any HH that is not NR and give them a tag such as "fit for a pornstar"....you can do that for other clothes and collars as well.  So if this bug you are getting is related to NR outfits try some easy girl or whatever and then mod them at armorer bench and see if that helps.

Ok.  So new (possible) problem with this quest.  When I came back from the trip to Goodneighbor and woke up on the cross, I followed Music into her new shop.  While there, I asked her about visiting her dad.  Then I checked in with Shelbie Chase, but no options were available related to the Overboss.  Then I went to Charlotte, got the quest I asked about earlier.  Just now I went back to Music after getting the quest.  The only dialogue options were about getting my nails done or getting a piercing.  Went back to Shelbie, and there were still no options other than normal.  So then I went up to the Overboss' base, and he's not there.  Then I reloaded an old save back in Goodneighbor, thinking that by talking to Music out of order, I'd mucked up the quest.  Played all the way through to talking to Music in her shop again before remembering that it's Maddox, not Shelbie Chase, who gives the supplies for this Overboss party.  Reloaded the other save I first posted about, went to Maddox, and everything has been running fine.

 

My point is, I had to remember that Maddox gives the first batch of Chems for this party.  If Music or Charlotte told me to visit Maddox, then I missed it.  If not, then a new player might run around lost for a good while before they stumble on talking to Maddox.  Either a quest marker or some dialogue from Music telling the player to visit Maddox should be added here.  And if I'm just blind and missed it, then all is well.

What do you get if you say hello to Music?

 

In her tattoo shop. 


First you "find out" that he is his father.


("Who is your father?") .


When you find out, the conversation ends. In the next dialogue with her you will see the option


"Do you think I can visit your father now?"

 

If you think the player needs more clarification I'll see what I can do.

I will be using Far Harbor sometime soon and the mod will probably not be compatible if the player left the island completely overrun with monsters. 

 

As for the vanilla game, right now you can't play Confidence Man with Nuka Ride installed. The only way to start this quest is to poledance/dance for Vadim in his bar, after winning "Posters". 

 

I don't know if there are any other interferences.

Hi, I have a problem Aaron, when I go to get Gage's gun I get a message that the car is invisible too, I'm not sure if continuing an old party is a good idea

Came just in time(no pun intended). Done the quest twice already and Charlote still insists to go to the OB(also hit a miniscule bug in the mentioned quest, where when you get nuka rush/sandwich for any of the investors, you need to put drug/sandwich back into the fridge and take it again and give it to person who asked for it( the + in all of this that I have done both the horse/and facial path). Not sure what disrupts the poster quest to activate.

 

ps-The high heel reinstall fixed that hovering aligment problem, thanks alot. ❤️ 

 

pps-Whenever I talk to Charlote, she gives me the same dialogue(as if we are talking for the first time). Hopefully this helps.

I'm having a similar issue.  With 4.2.3 and 5.0.4 the dancing animation during Mason's audition is not triggering (worked fine in earlier NR versions).  In 4.2.3 the pole didn't even load, in 5.0.4 the pole loaded, but instead of the animation, I got the "animation didn't play" error box.  I have every animation pack from Saya's guide installed, and have had a stable aaf setup for over a year.  The Kaiser dog animation did work for me.  I am running a heavy load order on my current playthrough, so it is quite possible something else is conflicting, UAP maybe?  Only change to my aaf setup recently.  I also have the "alex stripper pole" mod active on this save, if that is relevant.  Just a minor issue though.

Edit: Just to add the "Dance" video does not trigger an animation either. Failed to load error message then advanced.  Every dancing animation I can find in aaf work when activated manually through the aaf interface.

 

One bit of feedback; the food/water hit for traveling is way too high.  The game already handles that mechanic, no need to make it worse.

Overall one of the best mods out there, can't wait to see where this goes.  Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this.

I didn't know that NR edits Survival options? maybe the duration of the trip (fast travel time) is too long

Set _NR_OverbossParties to 1

 

 

Every time you end a party with the vips, the mod adds 1 point to this global. Maybe something is going wrong on my part.

The car thing happens to me sometimes. It will come back at some point. ?

 

As for your AAF problem, remember to look at the aAF admin panel and show me the screenshot.

The order of the quest itself isn't a problem.  My confusion, and the point I was getting at, is that the dialogue Music gives after you ask to see her father doesn't say that you first need to check in with Maddox to get the party supplies before visiting the Overboss.  I've played this mod multiple times, and even I forgot that Maddox is the first vendor.  A new player would have no clue.  Some might infer that the chems guy is who to talk to.  Most won't.  There needs to be some cue in the dialogue to visit Maddox.  If Music said that, I missed it.

She says that, but more importantly the mod does point to Maddox.  It's in miscellaneous (Get the beers and drugs for the party), and the mod puts the marker on Madox's head.  The notification appears on the screen. Unless you have a mod that blocks that or you were distracted by your girl. ?

 

OK, I just did it from start to finish and everything went fine. I can't explain why it fails Whoamieh.

I have always gotten a way point or quest pip to follow to get the chems.....here is a picture I just took.  Music tell you to go and get the chem at the market and the quest marker pops up guiding you to the market and Maddox's stall.

It's been a long time since I played that mission. Now it is mandatory to do it at least once. But I notice that there are things I wanted to do and couldn't (But I know how to do them now). Ufff... unfortunately I'm too deep in my other mod so I won't be able to make major modifications to Nuka Ride for the moment, only corrections and adjustments as reports come in.

I re-uploaded the Axary voice file so it doesn't take up an extra slot in your plugin list. 

 

It may take a while to upload because Mega is slow now.
