I am playing on Nolvus since i like my massive overhauls the ZAZ (sadly an SLAL) and FNIS do not work with Nolvus  . I'd be totally down for using this version instead if there was a way to get FNIS to run for Nolvus. Or if i can get a MASSIVE Overhaul just as big as Nolvus, to replace it. So i'll take recommendations there too. I want to emphasize that I chose Nolvus because it changes so much of Skyrim, which i like since i've been playing for years lol.

ND works perfectly fine with Pandora, at least it does for me. While I found it a bit too involved to modify Nolvus V6 to my tastes I tried it for a while and had no problems getting ZaZ to work, where do you encounter problems? While I can't speak for Nymra, knowing what I know about him and ND I would wager that an Ostim version is not in the cards.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Iona is showing as Follower 1 in the Naked Defeat MCM, but I dismissed her. I tried "set playerfollowercount to 0" but she's still listed in the ND MCM as a follower. I'm using 5.291.  Any suggestions Nymra?  Thanks as always for your superb mod! If you did so, I suggest you return to a save before the fight.

I didn't notice the issue until long after I'd dismissed her but I wouldn't have done so in the middle of a fight. I'd had several other followers since her dismissal and only noticed the problem when I pressed "K" during a fight and got the notification that "a follow is still fighting." Also, she's in slot 2 now after using Alt-K to try to dismiss her but I don't have a follower mod installed so I can't have more than one follower at once.  I'm at the very end of this game so I'll probably just deal with until I start a new game if I don't happen upon a solution.  Thanks for getting back to me.

It fails to activate during combat but will randomly activate while I'm just wandering around town shopping or looting an empty cave. This mod needs debug options to just shut it the fuck down immediately and give all your shit back. That'd be mildly funny if it didn't take all your shit or there was a way to just make it stop, but the debug wheel that's supposed to pop up when you press alt + k doesn't appear, and disabling the mod through the MCM doesn't work either. In fact even loading an older save and immediately disabling the mod through MCM still triggers a defeat scenario and it's just as impossible to make it stop as before, so my entire save is broken and I'm pretty annoyed about that.

Hmm, never tried without NFF, not sure Nymra ever tested it without any Followerframework either. So perhaps it's just not working too well with the pure vanilla follower system (which indeed isn't working too well to start with).

While ND certainly has its shares of bugs and problems, no one else ever reported the problems you got. As such, I'm pretty sure you either have another mod interfering or you made an error during installation. Did you try changing the hotkey and see if that brings up the debug menu? I did try changing the key (edit: I should mention that I appreciate that this mod uses the same key for multiple functions, too many mods seem to think they deserve a dozen keys which cannot be unbound), it didn't fix nuthin. It's probably to some (greater or lesser (almost certainly (very definitely) greater)) extent my fault, and I'm aware of that, my gripe is that it borked my save completely and retroactively. The problems I experienced up until now were minor and were kinda funny, so I planned on sorting it out later during one of my periodic troubleshooting passes, or at least continuing to a point I would consider a leaving off point then make a new save. This mod broke my save retroactively, that's not normal, in fact I've been modding Bethesda games for nearly 20 years and this has happened to me so few times that I can't think of another time it's happened, although it probably has. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have deleted my save files, but I have already done so. If there is some log that gets dumped to my MO2 overwrite folder I could check for that. There should be a debug option in the MCM menu to just end the current event and interrupt the scripts for the mod. The debug wheel (which I have not seen and do not know what options it contains) relies on things you don't know are working, while the mod doesn't even start on its own, so you know MCM is working. Software should fail gracefully, and part of that is not relying on things working to fail properly. Edited December 14, 2025 by hyamblat

I checked my ND mcm but i don't have any followers listed and it's still giving me that message. I tried the set followers to 0 command but that didn't work either

Actually, I stated I don't know if he ever did. I could easily see that being the case though. I know I never tried it without NFF.

I'd really like to be able to Crawl slightly faster though, even if the animation might look weird. The new SLP+ can speed up animations, that could fix that potentially. Either way I'd be happy if I could set the speedmult just a little higher. 1

I liked the idea of this mod, but to be honest, not completely. What I didn't like were the options for Captivity and Whipping. At first, it seems cool, but after a while it gets extremely boring. I'd like to know if it's possible to keep the other features of this mod, such as public punishment, combat stripping, traveling/swimming naked, but completely disable defeat and its consequences, leaving that to SL Defeat. I've already managed to do this, but for some reason, every time I'm defeated and SL Defeat handles it, my character gets bugged and I can no longer control it. Theoretically, that should work, at least from the ND side. No idea bout the Defeat side. It certainly works for Acheron with those settings. Given that, it appears that Defeat lets something through that triggers ND in some way, no idea how or what, however. You could experiment with disabling more functions from ND one by one and try to find what is getting triggered by Defeat. Edited December 17, 2025 by Talesien

After defeat and sex scene, I am not sold via Simple Slavery (even when i have 100% of being sold via SimpleSlavery). There is always just note: "They let you go in you sorry state" (or something similar). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?  PS: Also being locked in restraint device after sex doensť work (not DD but ZAP).

Those mods appear skse based, so will likely go first (simply because papyrus takes slightly longer to recognize the players state and react to it). So they will already have started when ND fires. Best case you get the effects of that mod applied, then ND fires and runs normally. Worst case you get stuck in limbo with an unreactive game/PC and need to restart. As a rule of thumb, two death alternative mods will always be somewhat incompatible with each other. Is some cases you might be able to work around it, but be prepared for things to go catastrophically wrong. Worse, you might not even be able to apply results from other peoples game to yours, due to subtle differences in settings or not to subtle differences in hardware or LO. The reason being that, by using two Death Alternative mods, you are essentially creating a race condition. The result will likely depend on which mod wins and by perhaps even by what margin. All the aforementioned differences can contribute to changing that outcome between two peoples setups. 1
