Naked Defeat AE/SE

Hey Nymra,

i have a quick question.

I'm in a current playthrough with Naked Defeat 5.0 + 5.06 HOTFIX installed, but i never activated it.

 

Do you think, it would be save to update ND to the newest version and activate it, without any risk? Or do i need to start a new game for it to properly function?

I don't seem to have issues with other mods finding animations. I've got over 800 registered for human and 800 creature. Previous versions of ND have been fine.

Running SE on vortex wt finis here. This is on existing save, not a new save. I disabled ND and did the save/reload re-enable and reload deal. Also ran SLATE ND tags.

 

I may have broken something and did not realise it....I do tend to do that when modding Skyrim😳

 

Tried with tags in ND MCM and without....  Any ideas?

No idea what you did but...

 

1. Naked Defeat does not even start or get logged correctly in your game

2. the log is basically 100% errors. No idea really, never seen this before. 

See that you correctly installed SKSE, PapyrusUtil, Power of Three Script Extender and Scrab Papyrus Extender (newly added as requirement), that is at least where I would start looking.

Should be 100% save.

All installed and seem to be working. I have other mods that are dependent on SKSE and Papyrus running.

 

I did find, however, that SLATE can't find any animations, yet SL sees them, animation Loader sees and loads them, and other mods like Defeat, Deviously Helpless, Devious interests sees and runs them. I can load your actions into slate but it probably does not apply any of them. Humm... I may be into rebuilding things from scratch, maybe AE this time. 😵

not important, since every mod uses those in a different way.

Do you use any non-standard Sexlab Version? SLATE is not working with SLP+

not relevant at all, since the issue here seems to be deeper than merely registering Sex Anims to Sexlab.

The wall of errors in your log seem to point to missing functions, which usually is a sign for a missing dependency.

"SexlabQuestAnimations" is something I only saw from SexlabP+ to date, but might be wrong, AE is fairly new to me.

Maybe you just overriting something critical somewhere or have the wrong mods put together

I think I am experiencing accidental death, whenever my followers protect me. I get downed, my follower kills everyone, I get up, start moving around, and then suddenly I freeze !  There is a message my stuff was sold to bandits and a loadscreen takes me to the Afterlife scenario. Somehow the game must think i got killed while out of combat. When the afterlife scenario is done, there is a message box, that a location couldn't be loaded and the game would take me to a backup location - the inn in Whiterun. My follower(s) stay at the temple, though.

Edited: The message box also tells me to report to the forum.

yes, with a papyrus.0.log ideally. 
Otherwise I can do nothing but waste my time. 

EDIT: also make sure you are running current 5.26 version

Sorry if i was unclear... I got the ones from the Modfire Download page (where you put the "use adblocker" warning) and they are missing all the new sliders since 3BBB.

And the linked alternate downloads in the description are in comments that are from 2020, so also too old, so i did not try them.

My question is, if there are more up to date Files anywhere, which have the missing sliders that were introduced with more recent versions of 3BA?

Hi there,

 

I just went from SE to AE. I'm am glad to see that v5.26 is able to find enemies after defeat, that was a serious issue in the early 5.x versions.

 

I noticed 2 things though:

 

With almost all defeats now my character gets bugged. Floating sideways, doing walking animation in one spot, not able to move when I'm supposed to find a good spot. I had to start using the Unstuck player debug command.

 

The enemies always equip a DD arm restraint after the defeat. Is this configurable?

DD issue:  I think there is a DD option in the MCM so you can reduce the percentage to nothing or maybe a checkbox.  Can't remember where.  About those pesky arm restraints, I was getting the same armbinder lockup devices during the defeat scenario.  Tried to disable them  but instead I just set the wiggle free chance pretty high >50%.  Wiggle a few times after ND is done with you and you get loose.  Adds the benefit of removing all of your current devices.  I like that part.  Always a piercing I can get rid of.  Players that use DD:   Definitely a love hate issue with DD and DE chests.  Happens when you don't want it to and never when you do.  Glad that ND is bringing in features too but MMph mmph mmph.  (just had a gag put on me).  🥰

I did some testing today, triggering the afterlife scenario via wheel menu. The afterlife scenario always ended with the error box, I am always send to the backup location (Whiterun Inn) instead of the wilderness (as it is said in your descriptions)  and when I have the blur effect on, it stays on. I haven't been able to trigger the "Follower protects me" scenario yet (which accidently send me to the afterlife yesterday), we always got defeated together. This works perfect by the way. Find a spot, the animations work, whipping works, wriggling free, everything works effortlessly.

 

Edited: I run 5.26 with the jump moan fix (if that makes a difference)

Not to my knowledge, if you feel up to it, update those bodyslides. I'm sure quite a few people will appreciate it (I would).

I saw the DD setting for the Aftermath, but didn't see any related to the defeat part. Maybe they are one and the same? It was set to 20 in my game.

I also have Unforgiving Devices and DD NG, so I use the UD struggle method. That is why it was strange, as the Aftermath events used ND's own escape, but I could use the UD one.

I dont know what you mean. The Aftermath is AFTER the Defeat, wasnt that where the restraint was equiped?
Next update will also bring a "before Defeat DD Option".
Note, that Naked Defeat uses its own restraints too which are not DD devives.

papyrus.0.log required. I cannot reproduce this.

FOllower protect has a little bug that I happily produced while rewriting the whole bleedout script and my head failed to wrap around the gazillion different ways and options of getting defeated :D

As for your Log:

it is 100% errors. No idea what is up there, but ALOT :)

just some things... 

DayMol is, I think, 100% incompatible with Naked Defeat. 
Dunno if it can be configured to work well wit hit (like Naked Defeat in MCM you should disable all bleedout content). 
Reminds me that I need to consider this for "bleedout on adventure" when outside combat...

the rest is error upon error, no real logging happening there. Looks like wrong or missing dependencies, from MFG to DD and DDNG.

 

make also sure all your SKSE stuff is correct.

also get rid of all the XPMSE scripts, they produce half the errors there.

Sorry, by aftermath I meant "after the sex". The whipping, the furniture always happened then, I assumed the DDs will be equipped then too.

I'll doublecheck this, but I'm kind of sure it was not even close to 100% (and I collected 5 arm restraints in a row). The top DD chance was surely at 20 (btw, is that % or weight?). The setting above it is %, but this one doesn't have a % sign.

It is just not clear to me if we can escape from DD with the same method as from furnitures (ie, the ND way), or after the DD was equipped ND stops bothering with it.

I have been puzzling about the DayMol entries as well. I don't use it in my current game, haven't used it for a long time. I guess, I will spend tomorrow hunting down what could have been left of it in my game. I use MO2, there shouldn't be anything at all, I thought it creates a virtual folder with all the stuff never actually being written into the Skyrim folder. Wish me luck figuring that one out.

About the xpmse scripts, I am aware of those, haven't figured out how to get rid of them yet.

DDs are gamebreaking, so I try to give EVERY option possible on how Naked Defeat handles them. 

Naked Defeat can be configured in so many possible ways, but it requires to read the MCM descriptions. 
I cannot make a guide for every possible way to configure things.

Skyrim RNG is basically inexistent. Dont bother with chances and how it happened in a row. I have 5x 1% chance happen in a row on regular basis when reloading the save.

 

I spent alot of time writign the MCM descriptions, its all explained.

Currently they get you into DDs , whip you and then let you go. 

 

I will implement more DD based scenarios later, including the "Naked Defeat Method".

 

As for bothering with DDs: MCM > Extra Feature > DD Options, its all there.

 

 

 

 

IN GENERAL FOR DD:

I m still in the process of integrating them further and will also add more options for them bit by bit.
