Why bother with the flame war? People want the mods for free, they're not going to get them for free. You can't change their minds and your aren't going to change the conditions you deliver your mods under. If people don't like it they can go elsewhere. Don't take it personally it just is what it is.

Doesn't matter if we get the Mods for free or not.   NO PAYWALL MODS  ON LL . . . . How hard is that to understand and follow the rules. It has worked for what 8 years, and now some guy who isn't making enough money cause he paywall his mods now wants to advertise on LL wants that to change. -_- This isn't Patreon, This is LL

Since they say the rules aren't worth following anymore. What if  Hypothetically of course ( cause it is against the rules ) ,  I posted his paid mods for free everywhere? I betcha the rules would suddenly matter to him Very much so. ^^

I say go for it. Punishing someone for not wanting to do free labor and is charging a price that's most likely paltry compared to what he/he would normally be paid at a full time job is justice.

 

Also be sure to ask your boss to stop paying you when you return to work. After all accepting money for a long day of slaving away would be considered greedy.

And you have no problem with Ignoring the Rules? Yes, we are going to Report + Discuss and Complain.  He Understood the Rules and chose to IGNORE them. That is double his problem. You would think that would upset you unless you like pay mods here. I know he is the only one doing mods blah blah blah. What is the saddest thing here is that all these paywall moders make mods for money, realize they aren't getting jack**** or much attention,  Come here,  Make an account,  IGNORE the rules,  and advertise to a site that  Specially says and has rules against   Paywall Mods.  Does it anyway, and it doesn't bother you at all.

 

First, I'm not defending paywall mods. I'm defending the creator. As if you'd put your issues aside, maybe just maybe, he'd be willing to HELP the community. Instead of monopolizing his knowledge. Have you ever thought about that? I AM angry because of your continued behavior. Your vendetta against a forum member because you hate paywalls so much, you'd rather scare talent away, then respectfully find a middle ground. Or you know, at the very least, use the proper tools to alert the moderators and move on.

 

No I don't ignore the rules. I know enough about forums to know there's a report button and I use it! You don't need to discuss and complain about rule violations. Rules are nonnegotiable unless the enforcement staff, decides not to enforce them. Users are not supposed to backseat mod. They are supposed to use the tools at their disposal to alert the enforcement staff. No discussions, no arguments. Report and move on. Not mini mod like you have done.

 

Dog piling on someone about the rules is mini-modding. Which, on a lot of forums, is against the rules itself.  The reason is because of this argument. Airing dirty laundry publicly tends to piss people off as people take sides.

 

But I see we have aspiring moderators here. As you've already went into a completely separate topic and told @Irastris there to change his wording as it's considered advertisement.  (Tomb Raider 2013 thread) So not only are you undermining the staff, but effectively trying to be one yourself. Leave it alone! Use the proper functionality on the forum, and MOVE ON!

 

And no, the saddest thing is, that you seem to have a vendetta on a forum member because he's charging for mods,  and are pissed that the moderators didn't back you. That's the sad part. As someone else has said, you aren't going to change his pricing. BTW - leaking his mods, is a good way to get banned. It happened in the RE2 thread quite a bit ago. The creator found out, and the individual was banned. Unfortunately for you, whether you agree with it or not, escalating something so damn inane, is only going to get you in more trouble. Not anyone else. (So you might want to keep that as a hypothetical scenario.)

 

Drop the vendetta and just let the moderators handle it. It's that simple. If they believe his content is worthy to stay, then it stays. It's really that simple!

 

PS: You want to communicate any further on this matter, please send me a PM. As I really don't want to continue to contribute to this argument. As it's effectively been solved. His post was restored, the enforcement staff obviously don't consider it as much of an issue as you do.

Someone REALLY needs to explain to me exactly HOW modding Kairi to be nude is the same as the 'forbidden' porn. By that logic, EVERY instance of violence in pictures, movies and videogames is ACTUAL violence and murder.

Pretty sure Elsa and Rapunzel are the only two who would be fine. The big hero 6 kids are 17. None of the other characters are actually playable though, even with mods. So cutscenes only. No one is going to mod any other playable female characters here.

To put it simply, the LAW makes no distinction between real and fictional. If the character is a minor, it's 'forbidden' porn, and so off to jail with you, ya sick bastards :< (I say this because my "free trial of living" is expiring soon. What a sad life)

But you have a bit of logic .... according to you, making a mod is extremely illegal because of the age of the pj and of course the police are going to look for you to get you in jail .... really ???? then the prisons have to be full of hentai cartoonists who draw kairi or any younger pj ... it makes no sense that for a modification they tell you anything ... just tell you that there final fantasy pjs that you can to take advantage of

best not to discuss this here since it just makes the moderators mad. there are nude mods of younger characters in other games in other threads that people just uploaded out of the blue that never got taken down, so you might as well wait for that if you're dying to see that stuff
