Never tried

hey ya´ll, has anybody ever tried mantella, i´m downloading it right now and i´m curious if it works.

Never tried Mantella or CHIM, but after a few weeks with SkyrimNet, I will never play again without it. It's easy to set up and by far the most fun I've ever had playing Skyrim. Especially with DOM. Slaves are infinitely more fun to break when they can really feel and understand what's happening to them.

One of the best features for DOM purposes is Universal Translator, which lets you create rules to transform vanilla dialogue before speaking. I've since ditched the voice packs and turned off DOM's native voiced responses. Instead of hearing the same old lines, slaves actually say stuff aloud and in their own words.

DOM already has plugin support for it. I'm also going to be releasing another one shortly to build on that plugin's mental model. The existing one can trigger DOM and allow slaves to understand what was being to them, but there was often a disconnect between the what DOM was having them say/do and what the LLM was having them say and do. So I closed the loop. Just needs a bit more tuning, but now DOM drives mood, slaves are aware of their mood, and mood drives dialogue consistent with their DOM state. And what the LLM experiences can directly affect DOM mood by calling the DOM API's training functions. The experience is incredible.

yes same.

i just use DOM for its backend now (which is really good!) :

  • to manage npc-npc packages including whipping sessions, tying npcs up, certain poses like kneeling. i released a prisma UI for DOM that streamlines these if you want to have a look
  • the hexaco system because it relies on factionranks that are easy to access with skyrimnet to assign custom prompts that make the RP so much more fun.
  • the training system, which i use to lock/unlock actions and custom prompts for the AI as well = tbh exactly the same as the ones from DOM dialogue, except that I can just talk normally and it will call the DOM quest/script directly e.g. "Alice, punish your slaves" -> will call the DOM script in the backend. works very well, NPCs pick it up by themselves, it's hilarious. I had to slow down training speed by a lot because my slaves get maxxed out in no time now.

i will say it again, but DOM was built for AI RP.

HSH is so buggy especially with outfit mgt it can already be replaced by Skyrimnet's plugin severactions which is much better and can allocate homes, manage multiple outfits. I don't think HSH is worth saving anymore.

Oh, with severactions, you can also take over bandit camps, which you can use as homes, have a bandit group to manage it and guard it, etc.

AYGAS: primary use for me is similar to DOM, it's the npc-npc follow packages (allocated once, I don't have to worry about it). but severactions added companies/social organizations with employee packages, so imho it's become obsolete as of ~2 weeks ago.

So in the past I would try to enslave most NPCs with DOM.

Now I just take a few, mostly bandits when I defeat them, and mostly for RP reasons. I manage the other NPCs with AI directly since you can actually frame them into more advanced relationship systems such as money play, pure power play, via AI dialogue, and they retain their custom personality in the prompt since I added a script to populate all NPCs with DOM factions.

https://github.com/MinLL/SkyrimNet-GamePlugin

From there join the discord. it has everything including a primitive DOM plugin that adds some prompts. Don't worry about DOM version. Skyrimnet is just an infra that processes a ton of prompt files while you are playing and pushes game events if it can resolve them papyruswise. it's very stable.

I don't use HSH or AYGAS. But that's mostly because I have other uses for my slaves...

I'm getting very close to releasing Immersive Daedra Worship - Temple of Molag Bal 2.0 (finally finished another core system tonight), which will be built on DOM as the psychological mechanics. And it is being built with SkyrimNet support in mind as well. For example, there are various rooms and triggers in the temple that will prompt direct narration for the slaves and cultists to react to, which my new bridge can then trigger DOM API calls to train fear, which my new bridge will then inject back into the slave's mind as an inner thought.

For example, if you lure someone down into the basement of the totally ordinary house and activate the button to open the secret passage to the temple, the button triggers a narration about the bookcase swinging open to reveal a dark torchlit tunnel descending into the rock. Then the NPC can react however to that.

But the real joy is the psychological fuckery from the temple itself. I don't use AYGAS or HSH because ToMB doesn't incentivize training and selling slaves; it incentivizes leaving them broken, hollow shells and then sacrificing them to Molag Bal for power--which is precisely the kind of psychological abuse that DOM enables perfectly. And now with SkyrimNet to drive DOM's emotional mechanics... it's the most fun I've had in ages.

I moved all dialogues to DOM_Dialogue.psc for this kind of plugin. You can edit it at will to use your own dialogue system.

But now I realize I should have sent the DOM_Actor or DOM_Mind as one of the arguments.

No this is not ok. It means the mod failed to initialize. Which versions of these mods are you using? Are you sure you installed Papyrus Tweaks and other essential mods? Check this mod description page under the installation tab.

Is there any way such that positive spells ex) healing hands / courage arent flagged as punishing or is it unavoidable with how things are set up now?

For this "turned off DOM's native voiced responses" that's just unchecking the NPC Dialog in the MCM menu options?

i double checked and all of them are up to date, the installation tab feels kinda iffy on details/vague tbh which is prolly why im confused and messed something up on install, wat are the essentials i think i got all of them and properly load ordered. in the plugin side does the diary of mine.esm go above everything or below.   im using dom 8.4.1; pahhsh 1.42j; pahaygas .72. in DOM. last wat are the script files in the optional tab for? srry last time i installed with dom5 i didnt have this many issues. ty for the hardwork

including a primitive DOM plugin that adds some prompt

You don't have a name for that, do you? I found a few mentions of DoM but I couldn't find the plugin.

I updated to the last version and I can't see any stats anymore. Does anyone know why?

**Fixed it with sending them to PAH then taking them back to DOM**

Could be because i upgraded but i captured 7 vampires and while there .json files look different when i ask them there personality all 7 say the same and all of them are oblivious to oral/anal/vaginal sex (couldnt see where that is in the .json tho)

Is there an explaination somewhere of what the .json stats are / where those are?

That's usually a sign your upgrade was not successful. To be sure try capturing a bandit. Which version are you using?

Any idea if it works or will support OSTIM at somepoint?

It does not. However, my upcoming release of Temple of Molag Bal includes a bridge between DOM, OStim, and SkyrimNet. It should be available within the next few weeks, once I finish final debugging and testing.

I think I narrowed down the crash issue. It's something to do with aniamtions.

Were any new aniamtiosn added in the last versions?

Should the mod now be before or after ZaZ?

Went from 7.3 to 8.3 and then a bit later from 8.3 to 8.4

Tried capturing a fresh bandit of a type i'd not captured before and that gave

Spoiler

Which all the NPC's i've recently captured are showing

If i move them all back into PAH and then delete the .json files (guess i have some bad ones making them all the same) will they re-generate on return to DOM?

Weird... I have a slaver (recruited, not enslaved/freed), he is my bodygard (fight for me in DOM, integrated in EFF) and ... now he have his own slave (I suppose he bought her)...

Is it working as intended or is my game completly bugged? (v. 8.5.1b)
