The mod simply won't load there. 1

Clockwinding Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 eating some black goo, i got a rare green binder, and it seems bugged. as you can see the message about device condition is being spammed. Playing LE, UD 2.09b for him+brff for dd 5.1, Laura patch, DCL patch. the UD MCM debug options don't work to fix this. Equipping and struggling/escaping a 2nd green binder doubled the message's frequency, so i assume something isn't terminating properly. Tried opening fallrim tools to see if the save has some rogue scripts/script instances from UD, apparently not.

I assume that this much multiplier just creates an enormous amount of "Durability decreases", but it is not endless after all, and healing speed somehow supplies the loop. I think I've found the issue and implemented a fix already, but it won't help with reoccuring messages if they already happen, you better kill one ud script responsible for that with Fallrim

However it also killed all devices effects (no periodic vibrations anymore for anything, no sentient effect...) except random/orgasm manifest. edit: at this point i'm probably just going to wait for the mod's next version and make a new game ? If you mean like giving them AI so they can escape them on their own, that would be problematic. In comparison to DD, there are much more variables which needs to be considered. For example, there can be custom device which can be only escaped in non convenient way, like using the modifiers which were proposed by @SirCrazy. I can add something were simple for basic device types, but it is not currently my priority. So even when you have other mods which needs, it doesn't mean that they are using it. Do you use some mod organizer?

It uses DD difficulty settings and also has own difficulty set in the MCM. Be sure to go there and set those settings as you like! 1

You can also change patcher modifier in Patcher tab. This will make patched devices much harder/easier to escape. Setting it to 50% make it extremely easy to escape. 1

ZAP8 and Slavetats are installed and shown as present in the UD MCM Debug page. What else I can do to check and verify all prerequisites are there to see drool and tears?

It's possible you don't have enough free overlay slots for face. You have to edit one file from racemenu in SKSE\Plugins\nioverride.ini. There should be [Head] sections (or face, I don't remember). And there should be something like "Number of face slots". Try to increase this number. Basically, SlaveTats are trying to apply the overlay (tears, drool), but there is no free slot for them. If you have other mods which use overlay (like Blush When Aroused) then you may have reached the limit. Edit: here is a tutorial for body overlays. My trouble was exacerbated by the fact that my PC was wearing blindfold and restrictive collar covering up both the drool and the tears. Changing the ink colour to a brighter white made it more noticeable.

I think thats bug of Unforgiving Devices that triggers them that often. The animation and event itself is coming from DD. Had the same problem. I started the game using the "Bound at Home" quest of "More Devious Starts" and freed myself of all the devious starting devices. Afterwards the orgasm bar was still stuck at 10% and didn't move. I managed to get my arousal to <10 but the bar stayed that way and the arousal animation did keep coming like every 3min. Then I did reset the orgasms vars using the Unforgiven MCM debug fixes and the bar went to 0% and the horny animation finally stopped occurring that much often. 1
