Nazguli Tyvek Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 So, I just started using this mod and I had the baby settings to MISC Baby only and I then found an abandoned baby. So my question is will this baby grow up? I have it located in my inventory and I don't know if it's possible to place the baby in a crib. So I'm wondering if the abandoned baby is going to grow up or if it's just a paperweight at this point?
Potato_Skill Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Hi, can you have a look into this? For some the reason, when I use the "check pregnancy" function on Curie in her synth form, the message I get is : "No pregnancy data for ". I think the mod is failing to detect Curie somehow.
Sthan Dust Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 (edited) 15 hours ago, Invictusblade said: I will have a look at this issue so what were you pregnant with? and what month? I had this issue once but it wasn't a bug. It was the second baby. If you have multiple births, by design (you addressed it in a post a while back) the first birth will happen and the second may not happen for another day. In my case, baby 1 was born, baby 2 died. So, that manifested the day after. I think there is something going on with the priority of your notification structure. I turn on all notifications when debugging, but I think they are getting lost in some debug queue, because when the 2nd baby died, I had to dig about to see what caused the miscarriage quest. But this is exactly what you said in your post. Just the messages are not getting displayed to the user. Here are a few small issues I noticed, and you may have done this by design: 1) I have Active Effects mod running, before 3.6, you would get an active effect of "Reproduction" that no longer shows. 2) The "Impregnanted (x)" perk no longer shows either. You may have hidden it. This was useful for non-human pregnancies because you give buffs for different creatures. 3) I accidentally married myself twice ?? (Being married to me once is more than enough) So a little guidance on the new Aid vs Armor items for romance would be appreciated. I LOVE THE ADDITIONS! It will not recognize a Just Business Slave being a marriage partner either. Despite them having the perk. 4) I am very confused on the NPC Impregnation choices in the FOMOD. What is the different between Leveled List and the Outfit Framework? I tried both. Leveled List seems to work all the time, Outfit Framework gave me weird bugs, like no body for follows when they are not naked. ARe you adding Outfits to show pregnancy, rather than do morphs? Just need some clarification. Also final note on morphing: SA and FPE/WLD work fine together. But I haven't been able to figure out if your Cumflation does morphing or not. I disabled SA's morphing and nothing happens after your cumflation method runs. However, the pregnancy morph does. So which mod do you suggest control the cumflation morph? I am going to test turning off SA all together and see if there's some conflict. Also, if someone is using the LooksMenu BodyGen Presets from Nexus that randomizes female NPC bodies, follow the instructions by the Mod Author to add the exclusion for the player body. By Default, it will morph both the Player, the NPCS and the AAF Doppleganger. I am working to exclude the Doppleganger as well. If you do not, it will mess with all morphs. This is not @Invictusblade code or problem. However, I will mention this. If you do this correctly, you can set your preset for the Player via the Morphs and then you don't have to mess with BodySlide in game and screw up your player. I spent 3 hours testing yesterday and now it is working fine I have a few more tests to run today, but I have to say this: -- ❤️ the recent changes 100% -- Everyone should really pay attention to any mod that is doing morphs using BodyGen. Because that mod isn't really supported anymore, it can cause havoc if improperly used. -- I'll see if I can go through your functions and do some documentation so you can add it to the MCM or the website, so people won't keep asking you the same questions haha. I can't wait to see what you do with the next version! I love both these mods. So much fun experimenting. Next, I want to incorporate your system into the Contraptions DLC haha. How about a literal baby mill with sorting via the contraptions!? Just kidding, may not work, but that would be hilarious to watch babies rolling about on a conveyor belt. Also I am incorporating both your mods into the Sanity Mod. I feel that having a super mutant baby might have a psychological impact on the player. Maybe? ❤️ Edited August 1, 2021 by arkangyl

gooser Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 So in the old days, I had a dog addon, and supermutant addon, and those would handle non-human pregnancies. How does it work with AAF FPER ? So far, I've only seen human babies.

In my testing, however, it failed to produce any actual baby after I got impregnated by a super mutant. I went into labor and gave birth, but no baby appeared in my inventory. Some settlers who had also been knocked up by mutants did the same (pregnancy ended, and they had no babies in their inventories). After removing those add-ons and installing Wasteland Dairy Framework, I'm able to give birth to super mutants with FPER, so I suspect there is some regression with support for the old add-ons. 1

I remember what I did to cancel those mods I added gender to births. because players were complaining about getting too many males so I made some changes to add a MCM chance for each gender

Seras_RP Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 (edited) Hey, sorry probably a dumb question but hopefully an easy fix. I noticed for my character, only creature impregnations are working. Human on human doesn't seem to work for some reason...I did previously switch allow ghoul insemination to on and allow creatures to full, but switched it back to off and partial, as is default. Is there something else I should check and make sure? Thanks! Edit: also don't get the message of percent chance of impregnation anymore...not sure what the issue is. Edited August 2, 2021 by slodogk
amenshawn Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Quick question regarding deathclaw pregnancies. My character has experienced zero belly growth from month three to month five, but each day I get the 'giving birth to the first of many' notification. Is that an intentional aspect of the mod even with the morph power set to 10?
agaile Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 " FPE_Messages.pex " In this file were random obscene reactions during sex and interaction messages with several NPCs. 3.60 notes say 'Added String Based Messages for easier Editing and Translating' but I don't know where to find sex messages like pre-3.6.0 Please, someone let me know.

Invictusblade Posted August 2, 2021 Author Posted August 2, 2021 while I did quite a bit of testing, it was not enough (multiple issues are reported) so rollback to 3.50 if you can while I work on fixes this may take some time
Operand Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I wonder how this mod determines the xxx "eligibility" for impregnation. I dug a bit and in the scripts I never found any references to tags / positions meaning that things like BJ still lead to pregnancy - though maybe I didn't dig deep enough. However this is exactly what I observed with the latest version (i.e. non-vaginal xxx still results in pregnancy).

Got that.. aaaand it makes sense why it doesn't work because half the animations utilize "PenisTo***" tagging systems and that's not included which is why things like "***ToAnus" result in pregnancy. Here's what I use for AAF History (not ideal, but works sufficiently for determining A/O/V types): Spoiler A=PenisToAnus,StrapOnToAnus,StickToAnus,PenisToEither,StrapOnToEither,StickToEither K=Kissing,Smooching O=PenisToMouth,StrapOnToMouth,StickToMouth,PenisToEither,StrapOnToEither,StickToEither R=Aggressive V=PenisToVagina,StrapOnToVagina,StickToVagina,PenisToEither,StrapOnToEither,StickToEither The "***ToEither" has to also be treated somewhat differently (it basically says "anything goes" which is why I have an MCM switch for allowing/blocking that stuff) Edited August 2, 2021 by Operand

Invictusblade Posted August 3, 2021 Author Posted August 3, 2021 (edited) so I started to look into the mod with fresh eyes, and notice more than a few problems so I have the done the following... Removed Fatherkeywords & Fatherkeywords Blacklist (now it is purely race based) from BaseBabyTypes Removed references to ActorTypeHuman and replaced them with an reference to HumanRace Added an reference to Faction to Impregnation Message so it won't work if already pregnant cleaned up the messages by emptying itself before it starts (I didn't know this was a problem) then I decided to fix up STD Cure so the cure work, it should be a simple fix, right? two hours later... this is without the doubt the most painful thing I have ever worked on. it simply refuses to work period. at the moment, the script only contains a message "does this Fucking thing work" and it still doesn't work I have compare both the aid object and magic effect and script to working versions, (they are the same) update-> turns out, there is nothing wrong with STD Cure, but there is a critical mod conflict somewhere (don't know which mod yet) because I noticed that the IVF didn't work as well and then I did a new game with a small mod list and it works perfectly. new update-> now I am really pissed off so I slowly went over all of my installed mods (16 at a time) to discover when it fails and it doesn't fail even with all of the mods enabled. so I don't know what the hell is going on with it now one more update-> this problem is a lot deeper than I expected, no magic effects work, this includes vanilla drugs like Jet. amenshawn Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 Hey, I know you're not having the greatest time chasing ghosts in the mod right now, but I have to report that I'm still getting tons of hostile offspring (deathclaws) despite having 'stay' selected, the pylons from WW present with overlapping coverage, and anything else I could think of the select that renders them friendly prior to birth / hatching. I am not a mod creator by any means, but having worked for years with long term projects with multiple iterations of changes I'm familiar with how many issues that can cause, regardless of the process in question. So, if I may, I suggest the best way to rid yourself of the frustrations of the mod as it stands is to go back to the beginning, clean slate, and build it from the ground up. Yes, I know that takes longer, but from my experience it eliminates all the 'ghosts in the machine' type faults that creep into long term builds. It also allows you to incorporate fresh ideas for streamlining without having to undo piles of things one at a time to see if your idea breaks anything new. I would also go so far as to combine mods tha have similar functions, such as wasteland dairy and family planning into a single framework to eliminate those two mods potentially stepping on each others' toes, and to simplify your modding long term by reducing the number of projects on the table at any given time. I enjoy your work a great deal and hope you're able to overcome the technical gremlins you're encountering currently. 1

Heyya Before you go down too many rabbit holes, several things are working very well. I was able to have a pregnancy with both humans and non-humans. But a few of the perks are not being applied. which may just be omissions in the code. These are amazing additions. But, here is what I've found so far: -- Fertility is not being applied, but it seems that has no bearing on getting pregnant. The Reproduction Perk is not being applied to show how long you have as fertile. -- Cumflation is not working, and I testing this several times by removing all other morphs. The messages show up perfectly, and the cum shots show up. Just no morphs. -- Looks Menu Presets totally conflicts with your mod for some reason -- I confirmed this by uninstalling and cleaning. It works with Sex Attributes morphs, but not with your morphs. However, looking at the SA code, it should not conflict because he added his morphs to a keyword to is only affects his specific changes to the morphs and prior to 3.6 it worked fine. But bodygen randomization totally messes with things, so I uninstalled it. -- Lactation is not being applied after or during pregnancy on PC or NPC. So no one is producing milk in WLD right now. -- Monthly Perk is being applied correctly, but Impregnated(By) is not being applied at all on PC or NPC -- Marriage is not being applied to Slaves at all. It works with vanilla followers only. -- The MCM seems to not be firing correctly on many of the actions. I'm going to delete the MCM for the mod today and let it reset. This MAY be the root of all your problems. Even if you uninstall a mod, the MCM config and ini stay. I'll do more testing tonight. I am going to stick with 3.6 because its not really breaking anything, just not working in some areas. Hope this helps, and don't stress! Its just a Mod! ❤️ 2
