So i decided to try toys and love 2.4 with wildlife and it works however shout like a virgin reports the incorrect version then

the requirement mods i have are the latest from the nexus

SLaVE is just warning you that it needs Toys&Love v2.5 right? This is nothing at all related to Skyrim/SKSE versioning. Just SLaVE stating the fact... working as intended. I've not checked all your versions listed above for matching your version of Skyrim, but assume you have. In the case of Toys&Love, it works with any version of Skyrim and SKSE, as it has no DLL for SKyrim to break.

 

Your issue became about SKSE installation (but not version) because Toys&Love clearly did not get a response from SKSE. No response, so unable to even know the version. With that, either SKSE is not installed, not running or maybe just hung due to the SkyUI bug. We went down the SkyUI bug path because you stated removing WildLife fixed it (which makes zero sense unless something crazy like SkyUI hanging, was going on).

 

I have NO new information here to offer any new ideas.

Is that what you are still getting... exactly what you first reported? If yes, nothing new to look into.

 

You were very clear about the Error, in red, in Toys MCM. But...

You never did state exactly what the error from WildLife says. What exactly is it? I've been assuming its same as you see from SLaVE. If yes, nothing new to look into.

 

 

Without new info, your only way forward that I can think of is....

 

First make sure you exhausted the steps in this, as its everything I know on the topic... Toys MCM or other mod's MCM is not showing

 

 

No luck?... Then you need to find out at what point you are overloading your startup by using process of elimination. 

It might be something worse than just the SkyUI bug. And we have nobody else unable to use WildLife. As least thus far.

 

If you are using Vortex, try Purge and Redeploy first. If not Vortex, maybe some other form of reinstalling things.

I'm assuming you are starting a new game. Make sure each test is starting a new game.

 

Process of elimination can start where you get Toys&Love working by installing with only its minimum requirements.

Then you start adding from there, bit by bit, till it breaks. WildLife being one of the first. Starting a new game each step.

Never assume the last mod you added, is a bad mod or the cause. SkyUI bug is triggered by overall load, not any one mod. Most other problems are like that too.

Ive done everything in the guide ive purged and redeployed.

ive done it with no other mods aside from toys and its requirements

toys 2.4 doesn't give an skse error aside from the wrong version from Slave

toys 2.5 hangs up the moment i add wildlife

is the wrong version error just a warning? can it still work with 2.4 regardless?

Try this. It should not be needed, but I can see it changing the timing of startup.

 

You need to just place that file in your Data\Seq folder. Do that carefully and of course try with the latest WildLife and Toys and a new game. I would love to know the result.

 

 

The SLaVE thing is a warning, but since it was not tested without 2.5, I don't know for sure the consequences. For sure the things in the change log can't fully work, so will you just crash and burn when you Love Shout a dragon? not sure.

I no longer see this as being much like when the SkyUI bug kicks in. This is different. 

 

It's clear that Toys&love starts off immediately not able to run. So the Install test has no chance of running. Nothing can run. The SKSE error is just the result of not being able to even check, giving false negative. I think no mod is running in the game from this log.

 

At least one of your DLCs. is unable to run its scripts.. (never a good sign when your vanilla game is giving out errors)

It's like the scripts for all these mods are simply not there. But obviously some is, enough for Toys to have an MCM. Very FUBAR.

You'd get these errors if the plugin is installed, without the scripts, I would think.

 

 

When you install Toys 2.4, does the Installation Test run? Or is it in fact just as dead?

 

I've seen people with this type of problem before, and it's been because they had an AE to SE downgrade go bad. They had to nuke. Not just reinstall but delete all. For example, the Steam integrity check is not enough because it won't get rid of the mods you've added, and then ended up only half uninstalled. Steam can't make sure that your mod manager has its shit together. So Nuke means completely delete the folders under \Data.

 

If you have some idea about what you are doing, you don't have to nuke the mods, where Vortex is storing them.

 

A test you can do to see if your mod manager has its shit together, is where you purge. Then before deploying, check under data, and if you have some idea of what you are looking at, you should be seeing no mods installed, since they are purged. Only vanilla Skyrim with Creation Club stuff should exist. This is what purge means. And if this is not the case, your mod manager has lost control because things outside of its control have made a mess (like a downgrade. Also seen this sort of thing when people change from one mod manager to another).

I've seen people with this type of problem before, and it's been because they had an AE to SE downgrade go bad. They had to nuke. Not just reinstall but delete all. Ive already went the nuclear option this is a completely fresh install

ive never downgraded the game and ive only used vortex

i ran the test on toys 2.4 and the animation played

the only thing that remains when i purge with vortex is the bodyslide files and Fnis as far as i can see

is it possible something from the creation club can cause this? i have not tested it without them

This log is very clean, except that Creation Club mods are giving off many of the same errors. 

Toys is looking very happy in this log.

 

What's not clear is why the downgrade to Toys v2.4? If you keep 2.5 but remove Widlife, do you get the working Installation test? Is the downgrade to 2.4 just because it lets you run WildLife? 

 

But even with those answers, either way, I'm out of ideas, other than the one you brought up. Maybe get rid of CC mods. Maybe one of them conflicts with either Toys or WildLife.

i tried 2.4 out of curiosity since wildlife gives a incorrect version error with 2.5, it doesn't with 2.4 Slave does, however 2.4 boots up without skse error and the installation test runs fine

with 2.5 wildlife gives out a incorrect version error but unlike with 2.4 it gives out a skse error and refuses to work, removing wildlife fixes it and 2.5 runs fine (played it for a couple of hours yesterday with no issiues)

i will try without the CC content to see if it works

Well i tried it without the CC content and it didn't work.

I decided to nuke the game again and try again but this time installing everything manually in case vortex is causing a problem and it didn't work

here is the log from the manual installation but i doubt there will be anything new/different.

I managed to get it working by installing more nasty critters the creature framework and their requirements

not sure if that is the reason or is it something else but hey its working now :D

Good news then! :D I was just headed here to reply to your earlier post. I was going to suggest you add more mods as a solution, lol, and you've done that. 

 

I have been able to recreate your exact issue. I found that if you install a very light load of mods, such as just Toys, WildLife, and the min requirements for them, your exact scenario recreates. WildLife becomes the killer trigger. I'm very sorry for all your trouble.

 

I think the reason nobody else found/reported it, is that a mod list that light is what nobody does normally. I've not tried it in a while.

 

MNC and CF (that you added), are definitely optional but most people using WildLife will install them. I will certainly re-confirm that just in case, but I think their addition was a solution, simply because we needed a heavier load of mods, not the other way around. This does take it back to being triggered by the SkyUI bug I think, but I've not found the cause yet, only the means to recreate.

 

We have an interim solution now. I will look for the fix.

This is the first time ive ever experience the problem being too light of a load :D

SL Animation Loader has nothing to do with Toys&Love, and is not even required. It's for sexlab only.

Normally Love Packs for Toys&Love are seen in SLAL but is does not matter if they do or not.

 

The question to ask is...

Do the Love Packs show up in the Toys&Love MCM - Love Scenes Tab ? If they do all is well. The load is instant, you do nothing.

If they don't show there, we need to troubleshoot, starting with.... Does the Toys&Love MCM - Setup Tab - Installation Test pass or fail?

Pretty fun mod and it's add ons.  

I got Toys Framework,   A Toy Story,  Toyful Temptations,  A Toys Workshop and Toys Wildlife.    Combined with Deviously Enchanted Chests, Fill Her up and Sexlab Pheromones, Defeat and set to Legendary difficulty, it made the trek through Bleak Falls Barrow a crawl (not literally, but it definitely took a while) and it was pretty fun especially since I was also using Dungeons Revisited which really expands a few dungeons like Bleak Falls Barrow.  

I set Toyful Temptations to fire Toys only for corpses with chests triggered via DEC for Estrus attacks. 

An observation....Fill Her up is not affected by scenes triggered by Toys Framework as far as I can tell..so if the partner ejaculates into my Dragonborn it doesn't register in Fill Her Up.   I think the scenes involving sex does add to wear and tear on the Dragonborn via Apropos she was sporting quite a number of wear and tear tattoos at the end. 

Also "Strip Equipment" should be defaulted to OFF as it removes DD items because my PC was wearing a red latex collar and red latex leg bands when a Toys explosion removed all of her equipment, it included all her DD gear although not the Toys clit piercing she had on and when I attempted to put the latex collar and leg bands back on afterwards, they didn't "click" back into place or lock.  

My Dragonborn went into Riverwood with that orgy triggering toy..damn..that was a sight. XD

I would not expect either mod to be "Toys&Love" aware. They'd need updates or patching. So I'd expect they can only "see" sexlab and SLA. If you have Toys&Love Rousing synced with Arousal (off by default), then maybe it would contribute to arousal level, but I doubt this is counting as the events they need to "see".

You make it sound like Toys&Love was removing DDs, but this is not possible.

My guess is that you mean the explosion was treated as damage by another mod, and then that other mod removed DDs. Can't be Toys doing it. Too rude :P 

 

Another solution would be to make the Toys&Love explosions non-damaging (no physics). You do this using... Toys&Love MCM - Scenes & Sounds Tab - Visual Effect Strength.

Yes.

See section 8 in Toys&Love - Mod Author's Documentation

 

You'd probably check that player is not male. Toys has a property you can check, or there's other ways.

Int Property PlayerGender         0=male 1=female 2=Futa 

 

And then use the mod event ToysClimax.

first of all thank u for awesome mod .

i was reluctant to give it a try since i have mods that do the same thing . but had to give in because i wanted another mod that requires it

and i have to say wow . i for sure prefer toys&love over the other combination DD+sexlab . regret not trying toys earlier

i really wish i can replace sexlab&DD with it but oh well . can only dream

i wanted to ask if i could edit the ( voice in my head ) text ?

looked over the files but cant find it / or is it not easily edited ?

Voice in My Head Lines are baked into source code. I suppose it would be nice if it were an external text file.

 

The lines come from multiple mods, not just Toys&Love. Anyone making a mod could indeed choose to provide an external file for easy editing, but so far I've not done that, mostly because the lines just slowly evolved and came into being.

 

There's a chance slider setting in Toys&Love MCM - Setup tab, so while you can't change the lines, you can turn their frequency down.
