That you can't wait nor sleep is part of XPO, as the collar permanently damages your health and stamina.
As suggested by xaz, just drop or remove it using the console.

Regarding the other things, install Fuz-Ro-Doh, if you haven't already. Not required anymore (as stated in the OP), but what you descibed, is the same that happend to my toon, as FRD stopped working due to the last Skyrim update.

So maybe it's better to still have an up to date version of FRD installed and running. Make sure SKSE and xaz Animation Pack are up to date as well.

the 014 version seems to work. although the first tie i was in the cell  i saved before waiting and they released me without getting beat but they wouldnt give me my items back. i loaded back to see if it was just a random hic up error and the second time i waited alittle longer and they beat me and i got released although the npc was sruck because of a stupid guard in his dam way. but works anyways thanks. the only real bug i see is that the npc that whips you has a bad head texture. its grey faced. although Im using apachis hair my apachis hair mod is for female only version so i dont know why its grey faced and my female apahi hair mod is almost perfect. most npc have there correct air only a few dont which is probably because of the extra npc spawned from my other mods but not crying too much about it. i also use the creation kit to extract the female face gens. do you think i should do it for the males too?

Again, i'm very impressed with this mod since the latest update, I love the pillory :D.. Can I add suggestions for future update: 

 

1. Add more pillory to other cities

2. Crime Punishment rate: minor crime should be whip in the cell, serious crime should be whip outside with pillory as usual, major crime should be whip and execute (i'm not sure how execution gonna work, maybe behead or whip to death ) . Also make the duration of the days longer rather than just 1 day imprisonment regardless of what your crime was. Though now you can take the collar off and wait/sleep.

3. Public Attraction, town NPCs should gather and see the character getting tortured.

4. Whip marks and duration, i'm not sure if you able to edit this because it doesn't look realistic if the character is in pillory and getting whip, the whip marks appeared randomly everywhere around the body, but it be better if the whip marks appear only to the butt or chest/breast if being chained up in cell. Is there a possible way to make the whip marked stay with you for a long duration says about 1,2 days..i've tried edit the mark duration but they still wears off quickly

5. Adding Sounds, Hearing the character screaming and crying would make the torture feel more painful but since the character have a gag, probably won't need the sound effect but it cool if it being add on.

 

I'm looking forward to the future update of this mod :D

Just tried V15 (first one for me since the pillory update) and it's awesome!

Everything looks working well, my girl get caught for punching a Falkarth guard, stripped, jailed, led outside, pillory + whip sessions (Loved the moving ass animation!), led to the jail, and finally whipping session just before release.

 

Only a little bug before the entry in the cell (nothing happened), solved by save/reload, but another little problem: once released, the 3rd person view stayed in "combat mode", even my girl is not.  And now, I can't be again in combat mode, or access to my favorite menu. Inventory access is OK, but try to "tfc" on/off didn't change anything. Any idea?

EDIT: just reloaded a save before my camera problem, and nothing wrong happened, it was OK. So, I presume it was only a bug, and not a "linked to the mod" problem.

set TimeScale to XX
Where XX is the number of in game seconds for every real life second. I set this to 60 by default, and 2 during the transport and whipping scenes. I play at 5, and 20 is default setting in Skyrim. I've heard that setting it low or high (less than 2 or higher than 30000) causes bugs in the game. I've ran my game at 600 with no apparent problems, but no idea if that actually causes long term issues with quests and so on.

 

Maybe this should be an option you can configure... and maybe it's time to create a config menu for this mod.

 

i think the dynamic time scale affect  time in prison

 

Each time you're put in the cell, time accelerates. When you're let out, it slows down. Same for the pillories.

 

When you're released from the mod (escape or normal release), it goes to whatever value you had before.

 

The command I wrote above allows you to adjust it during the course of the mod, but it'll be overwritten when you leave the cell, enter pillories and so on, so you'll have to "reapply it". This is a solution to your problem until I get around to fixing it in another way. A few posts up I also mentioned how you can get rid of the entire time lapse system and go back to the regular wait/sleep approach.

 

i was looking at the save game time since i cannot use the option wait to see the time but i didnt notice there was a time displayed on the skyrim menu yes its working fine now

Well, that was interesting! :lol:

 

Running Sanguine Debauchery and PO just gave me a few funny minutes. The bountyhunter from SD just caught me on the edges of the Riften area. He enslaved me and marched me toward Riften. There the guards came to me to imprison me. Already bound there was no sense in fighting. They removed my slave bindings but didn't put the cuffs or collar on me. Still I had to follow the guard.

Now the SD bounty hunter came back, attacked me until I was very low on health and automatically became enslaved again. The SD slave bindings came on again. The interesting part was that I still had to follow the guard though.

Then the guard took me on the big sightseeing tour around Rifton. I had not been there before so the south gate was still not available. Instead the guard turned right to the waters edge to look over the harbor for a while. After about two minuted the guard turned and led me around the whole town towards the north entrance, roughly following the city wall.

Instead of going into that gate the guard went on and up onto the outside balkony of the player home. There he stopped and didn't go on.

 

After reloading I used the fastforward command to avoid the bounthunter. This far it seems to work. ;)

There are a couple of things I don't understand:

Major crimes should bring "more severe punishment" than serious crimes, but looks like the same.

Only jailer punish my PC, while somewhere I read any NPC could start whipping for a fee.

Hi I'm using the last version and I found a problem: get caughted in witherun, the guard brought me in prison and the jailer took me in a cell closing it. When I 'opened' the cell, my player character has been controlled and brought in the market place then nothing happened. I can stay there also a year but nothing happen!!

Did you open the cell door and escape? Yet nothing happened? The scripts are configured to react to you being far away from the cell as well as opening the door. I'm kind of confused... did you install previous versions, are you sure you installed those correctly? Did you also try this with a clean save? Have you tried placing my mod last in the loading order?

xaz, as you mentioned the cell door I forgot an event above about that. After I was in the cell in Riften a skeever found it's way inside. I killed it but a bit later the guard patroling the cells opened my cell door and went away. I'm not sure what caused this. I just stayed inside and everything went the normal way.

 

BTW: is there a way to set the severity of the crimes using the console?

 

And something else. As I was imprisoned I travelled with a stray dog. He awaited me in the cell after the fastforward to the prison. I had a good laugh as he began to tell me it was good they caught me and the other stuff. :lol:

Gray face is a, well, it's my fault, but it's so incredibly stupid that I'm going to blame Bethesda for it anyway. Essentially, each time you create a new npc, unless you select them and press ctrl-f4 (there's no menu option for this), they'll get bugged and their faces will be too gray.

 

... aaaand with that rant .. it's fixed in V015, I hope. So just upgrade and see if that helps...

These are all excellent suggestions. Consider them added to my road map for this mod.

 

1. This will happen, but not right away. I want to try out the code before expanding.

2. Sounds like a good idea to differentiate the punishments also after the pillory session. Not sure about public execution, but that could be configurable.

3. This is certainly interesting.

4. This should work as it is right now. Did you try changing the .ini file?

5. I want to add this; I'll see what I can do to make it work .... (and where I can get gagged sounds)

I've also seen the combat and locked camera bug. I'll see what I can do to get it fixed...

When it's "time for punishment", the scripts will search for NPCs available to punish you. If none are found in range, the jailer will do it instead. I think pillories in Falkreath and Solitude are poorly placed, because not many NPCs pass close to those. I'll move them to busier locations.....

I didn't try the last thing you mentioned ;) Tomorrow I'll check also that.

 

Anyway is happened that my pc has been put in cell naked (so without rag) and then nothing happened. So bored I opened the cell door, but the control has been taken by scripts and brought the pc in the market place (slowly walking) and then nothing other is happened.

 

I installed the last version available.

Just upgraded to the last version ! But ... can't make it works :( ...  I tried to hit guards, they captured me, bring me to the post and then nothing. Everything is in place, pillory, jailer, etc. But the guard leave me without forcing me to put my belongings into the chest. Everyone is staring at me and I can't get out of the place.  Sorry to bother you with that but do you have any idea about what I did wrong ?  I used a new game, put the .eps last in order, tried it in dawnstar, same problem : Nobody forces me to leave my belongings in the chest :(   I hope it's something really dumb I might have done wrong :P

 

Anyway congratulation ! It's a real improvement that you added ! I can't wait to try it out !

You know what? I can't decide if I hate the long waits in the cell. Or love them.

 

My thief was finally caught in Whiterun and my first thoughts were along the time of: "Meh, I'll do jail time". By the end of the first day, it was: "Another day of this? Hell no!" and I busted out of that cell as soon as the guard left the gate. I'm inclined to say to stick with them. Mainly because of the RP aspect and changing the "Meh" into "Hell no!". Really gives meaning and a reason behind fighting the guards to stay out of jail. Of course that's not everyone's play style so perhaps a "Hardcore" version like I did in SD? Where there's no way to shortcut jail time once it's started.

 

Also, I'd like to request some braziers next to the outdoor punishment for us users of Frostfall. Spending a day in the rain naked will kill a character if Frostfall is not disabled.

For future effort because of the additional effects, I'd suggest you have the children of any town come by and throw rocks at you or in Whiterun they could buy spoiled vegetables from Mila (showing an entrepreneurial spirit) to throw at you. If the kids are running in Whiterun or Solitude then they should detour by where you are at and taunt you periodically.

 

These are all things kids did to prisoners in stocks in places where their use was common, it would be a natural for Skyrim. Adults too were prone to doing the same things (at least during the daytime) but it might be easier to stretch the kids AIs to do this with less potential for quest conflicts.

I think it would be great if NPCs periodically come up and sex you up from behind and/or sex up your mouth while you're placed in the stocks of the town square. I know there's ZaZ idles that can make this possible through the console, but I thought it would be a great addition to this mod. :D

I was whipped in the pillory by a chicken i Falkreath once... ;)

 

You can configure the severity of the crime (that you're being punished for right now) from the console as well as the bounty limits.

set xpoCrimeSeverity to XX
where XX is 10, 20, 30 or 40 (higher more severe).

 

I can't recall what the command is for setting crime gold limits, and I may be wrong about that global, because I can't access the .esp right now. Those settings should be roughly correct, though ...

Will list all globals for you, so that should get you pointed in the right direction of tweaking.

Sorry to ask (maybe I lost some posts), but pillory scene does work just in Whiterun and Solitude?

and Falkreath too. I wanted to just try it out before rolling out and testing pillories all over Skyrim, and then have to redo that again later if I wanted to change anything.
