Sorry, sometimes I miss responses to the thread. Anyway, no there's no way to get caught on the X-cross. I plan to add those alternative pillories later, but I want to get the other things working, and I'm also a bit busy with RL right now.

One suggestion though When the Jailer commences the whipping session, it maybe a good idea to bring in some sreaming or moaning sounds to the victim while they are being whipped. Guess it's time to start looking at all the sex mods floating around, and ask if I can borrow from them...

Just check Sanguine's Debauchery, jbezorg has whipping with sound so it should be an easy port.

Although whipping is not supposed to do damage, many mods override weapon damage and still apply a damage effect when you're hit. The collar you're forced to wear will heal you, but animations may break. Not sure if there's much I can do about this, except try to figure out which mods are causing problems. From the top of my head, if you have "locational damage", "combat brutality" or "deadly combat" they could all interfere. I run with those mods disabled, but I'll reenable and see if they could be causing the issues. I hope that's not the case, because I have no idea how they work, so I probably can't make PO compatible and there are more interesting things on my agenda for PO right now.

Yes sorry i was a little drowsy at the time, didnt have much energy to type. The problem is probably Ultimate Combat mod, which causes some of the npc's attacks to stagger pc.

Considering you have some effects on the collar, would you be able to grant it other weird perks like complete immunity to staggering or whatever other effects are causing it? As for the damage portion, it should be fixable by loading your mod after the others, since yours would take precedence, right?

Instead of Days jailed and Times Jailed your stats for Fines Paid is increased.

Mods like this tend to cause glitches, crashes, and in my experience, usually don't work as intended. This one, on the other hand, worked to a T. I only had one crash at the beginning, but after that, it worked like a charm. I am legitimately astonished! I am a voice actor, and if you ever want your male jailers voiced, I'd be more than happy to voice them for you.

He'll just stand there as if waiting for something. Following will still be triggered if I try to run away, but the guard won't move regardless. Any tips on how to fix this? I love the idea of this mod, but I haven't managed to get it to work for me yet.

Is this a clean save or are you playing with a save that's had a previous version running? If you had a previous version running, were you sure to disable its .esp and use the new one? Did you upgrade after getting the new version through the console to be sure it works? By "go near" pillory, do you mean making contact with it, or do you mean being near it? Colliding with the pillory causes a large amount of lag that may crash your game, this was discussed a couple pages back.

This is probably due to some collision problems with the pillories. I'll see what I can do. 2. What happens when you try to do that? There is an option now to be collared not in "hardcore mode" which should solve your problems. You need to set that option before getting arrested. 3. If they don't try to arrest you, that's probably some issue not related to this mod. Can you get arrested for other offenses such as stealing or murder?

I figured out the fix. I deleted the xpo and xaz scripts from earlier versions and simply put in the new version's script, and I was just arrested. I'll let you know if any other bugs happen.
