Thank you, HexBolt, for your excellently designed and executed mod. I enjoy it.

 

I realize that with your current efforts going into the large upcoming update, this is the worst possible time for a new quest suggestion for Lola. So you may, or may not, wish to put my suggestion on the back burner and let it simmer for some time. It's inspired by Master's and Lola's performance at the Bard's College in Solitude, but with a different motivation by Master.

 

Here's some opening dialogue I suggest that will you the gist:

 

Master to Lola: I've arranged with the Temple of Mara here in Riften for us to perform a short play I wrote to honor the goddess Mara in all her splendor. I'm confident it will make an everlasting impression on the temple faithful. The play is entitled, “Tribute to the Holy Goddess.” You will play Mara. I will–

Lola: You're going to honor Lady Mara?

Master: Don't interrupt. You will play Mara, Goddess of Love. I will play Molag Bal, King of Rape.*

Lola: Master!

Master: I knew you'd be excited about this. You see, I feel bad for blessed Lady Mara. She expends so much time and effort bringing couples together, yet where is her beloved? I decided it's high time someone reciprocate with a little nudge. I'm sure the bridegroom likes the idea too.

 

I expect some non-traditional vows according to Master's desires might be in order. E.g., Mara/Lola vowing absolute obedience to Molag Bal, while he vows to treat her according to his whim of the moment.

 

After the theatrical presentation at the Bard's College, the audience was pleased. After this one, I expect the audience might run away screaming in horror. And Master laughing.

 

In Riften, there's perhaps enough space for a play and onlookers in front of the temple. However, if that area isn't big enough, there's the courtyard just south of Mistveil Keep, outside your slave auction site. With the courtyard's columns, covered walkway, and square grassy central area, it looks like a good venue for a presentation. In my playthroughs, I seem to recall that area is normally vacant except for perhaps a guard or two along the edges. I suppose the play might be put on inside the temple, where weddings are normally conducted, if it doesn't require temporarily moving those pews.

 

If Lola is male rather than female, I believe Mara being portrayed by a man will make an even bigger impression on Mara's faithful. Similarly if both Mara and Molag Bal are female.

 

Originally, I thought the downside to this quest is that thematically it would be a one-time event, as I doubt the temple priest and priestess would agree to a repeat performance. It then occurred to me that a surprise visit to the temple by the two actors, and Master casting a prolonged calm spell on priest and priestess, might enable a subsequent showing of the play.

 

Master may want Lola and himself decked out in appropriate costumes, even though it's possible the ceremony might end prematurely, and the wedding garments found to be superfluous. Here are two mods with Molag Bal armor:

On a side note, have you given any more thought to the Fox Hunt quest I suggested long ago? (if you even remember it. As I said, it's been a while.) I'm guessing no, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Regardless, I hope you like this quest better.

Ravenous is a Sweeney Todd/Dolcett themed cannibal mod and the latest version has a hunt like this. Del said it was the most complex thing he's had to do modding Skyrim and that it could be its own mod. After playing it I agree that it could be its own standalone mod.

 

It has its own dedicated hunting ground which no doubt makes things a ton easier, for Lola it could just be a friend of the owners private property. It's also easy to cheese it, which isn't the worst thing but I'd prefer the cheesing to at least require a few failed hunts before you figure them out. Adding the Run Lola Run plug so you can't camp would be a nice start, and maybe some environmental hazards like runes or traps for the places where the AI struggles to find you/shoot you could be a good. If people don't spoil it, things like that could be a good surprise. BakaFactory/factoryclosed has his own trap mod, and some of those could be fun.

Yes.  I really like the idea, but I think it's big enough to be its own mod.  I haven't forgotten about it, but I don't know when I'd want to take on something that large.

A non-appearing MCM is a generic problem, but I can suggest general remedies:


- If you use a mod that reorders the list of mods in the MCM, recently-added mods might appear at the bottom.

- Be sure that you have installed all of the prerequisites and that they are working.

- Check that it is enabled in your mod manager.

- Save and reload your game.

- Try "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" in the console and wait a minute or two.

- Enter any other mod's MCM menu, then exit and wait a minute.

- Reinstall the mod.  That sometimes works for people.

- If you have many mods, you might have exceeded the MCM limit.

 

Hey, I did what you suggested (I have all the prerequisites, it’s enabled, I reloaded the game, went into console, went into other mod’s MCM menu, reinstalled, and I haven’t exceeded the MCM limit yet) and Submissive Lola still doesn’t show up in MCM. It’s installed, like other mods detect it, but I can’t find it in MCM.

Unfortunately, I don't know what else to suggest.  It's an MCM thing.  If all of the prerequisites are installed and all are working correctly, MCM should display this mod's menu.  It might be slow in a script-heavy game, but it should show up.

Okay so, I got it working, but I think it might’ve been little finicky because I switched from the Baka Factory version of SL Aroused and I also didn’t realize that I needed both the  Devious Devices SE files AND the Devious Devices NG together. Unfortunately I had to start a new game in order to get it working, but oh well.

Guess you didn't care for my workaround so the event could be done multiple times. Which is fine, of course.

Actually, I like the fox hunt quest better to.

Only followers are eligible, so not unless there's a mod that adds a Riekling character as a follower.

It must be a legitimate follower character, a member of PotentialFollowerFaction and a potential member of CurrentFollowerFaction, with keyword ActorTypeNPC, that can perform all the actions of a regular follower (trade inventory, wait/follow, etc.).  It looks like that character is designed as a creature, which is not compatible, so that won't work.  This mod doesn't support creatures, and its sex scenes likely wouldn't work.

Hello,

I have this mod installed but not really interracted with it, and noticed sometimes i get a follower i cant get rid of. I beat a guy in a brawl and that made him a potential follower. He then follows me around even though i havent recruited him. 

Recruiting him gets him the normal dialogue like wait here etc. then dismissing trough time to split up or something like that removes the follower dialogue but he still follows me around. I noticed he has the vkjFollowerPackage so maybe its this mod that does something? I also run Nether followers and bunch of other mods.

vkjFollowPlayerPackage (not vkjFollowerPackage) is from this mod, but it should not be applied to any NPC unless you're actively using this mod such that your follower is your master and has the "Master?" conversation topic.  This mod does not change the way that brawling works.  It will allow you to recruit some brawler NPCs as followers using the "I need a strong hand to guide me" topic, but that only occurs without doing a brawl.

 

Since this problem hasn't been reported by anyone else, you might have something corrupted in your current game.  If at some point you uninstalled this mod and then later added it back in, that could do it (just one possibility).  If you never did more than start the Strong Hand quest (by reading the book or clicking the option in the MCM), then this mod never would have had anything other than that quest and its MCM active.

 

If it's running, you can safely terminate the Strong Hand quest with the console command StopQuest vkjStrongHand.  Since that quest does sometimes use the vkjFollowPlayerPackage, maybe that will solve the matter, but that package is used by around 10 quests so that's no guarantee.

not being able to dismiss a follower is a side-effect of Devious Followers Continued, but you should have had a "[click me]" option in the dialogue, and they should've said "I hope you don't try to cheat me like the other adventurers."

Having a potential follower trudging behind you is from neither of these mods. Maybe open a thread in the help section and post your LoadOrder, so other people might recognise the problem. Or just help with troubleshooting, there are some really experienced guys over there.

Yeah sorry first off it was vkjFollowPlayerPackage, my reading comprehension is awful, i just looked at the first letters and guessed the rest. He was in the vkjFollowPlayerPackage. Thats why i assumed it was this mod somehow. Reason i mentioned this is because it happened before (without the brawl part) but then I didnt look much into it so I assumed it was the same thing but could have been anything.

And you're right, ive only opened the book and thats it. So I guess it could be that my game is corrupted or something. Anyways thanks for your time and answers guys, I guess I will see if it happens again and then post it in the help section.

Are you using an AI Framework? SkyrimNet, Chim, Mantella?

A small suggestion.

 

Master: "You know what I like to hear."

(My) Lola: "I'm your obedient slave."

 

I don't recall Master ever telling Lola what he'd like to hear from her. How would she know? It seems to me that upon enslavement, he should say words to the effect: "I like hearing from my property that they're my obedient slave (or whatever the original line is). If you say that to me from time to time, I will be pleased."

For things like that, I just leave it to the player's imagination, since there's going to be a lot more talk than what this mod explicitly displays.  The problem is that it's not realistic to try to make a fixed line like that vague enough, and Skyrim won't let me put custom words in the mouth of an NPC.  People's fantasies vary, so a player's chosen response might not have anything to do with being obedient or a slave (though saying the line is of course obedient).  If a player is into having to say, "I'm a cum slut" or "I'm a sissy boy", being told to say something about being an obedient slave breaks immersion.  The default line is just a placeholder for players who don't look over all the settings.

Can you leave your master/mistress at home?

 

I want to play a stealth character next and I don't really want someone tagging along. I also want to make this mod less intrusive on regular play, and having a "lazy" master that send me out to do the work seems reasonable.

 

So, can I go about my business and only return home once in a while?

There is an option in the MCM to 'pause' the mod, allowing you to go about your normal business without interference. Whether this allows you to dismiss the follower who is registered as your master/mistress, I don't know as I have never used that feature. I haven't really had an issue with it being all that 'intrusive' though, as I have tied it SL Defeat and Simple Slavery. In other words, my character doesn't get enslaved until after I get defeated in battle with bandits and they sell me off after they're done with me. I also have the mod setup with low (10 days) contract times initially - this can increase with bad behaviour, but generally I've been able to get myself out between 10 - 20 days.

You could still play a stealthy character, even with Mistress in tow. If you're using NFF for followers, set her to unaggressive, follow in greater distance, advanced stealth mode...

 

SubLola's MCM gives you a lot of options to tone it down. Service once a day, no sex, boredom delay to the max should give you an easy ride.

"once in a while" might be too seldom. I'd suggest to be home daily, why not test it and tell us? If you're having no contract, you could still leave her. Or as IBAGadget suggested, use the suspend option when you know that you're on a longer mission.
