Anunya Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 (edited) Re: kneeling - I'm in favour and consider it a core feature of the mod. (just my personal taste) I'd even consider it desirable to require the player to DO something (button press, shout) to manually remember to kneel when offering service; but I expect that'd be too cumbersome for most folks and annoying to implement. But kneeling is good IMO. Edited September 5, 2024 by Anunya 1

The Clean Sweep event can trigger in player homes and inns. I hadn't been aware that other mods had sweeping events too. 3 hours ago, Jim55 said: *raises hands* taste is taste. I'm not denying many people have a home fantasy, I guess it's down to whether or not there's enough of a split to add the option or if I'm an outlier. I hate people who think something is bad because it's not for them. I think others are just expressing their own opinions, that's all. It's natural that if someone states an opinion for or against something, someone with the opposite view will want to speak up to give the mod author a balanced picture. To add perspective, since you're new to the site and probably not familiar with the mod's history, I don't recall anyone ever mentioning disliking kneeling (a few had technical issues, but that's separate). On the other hand, there have been a fair number of requests for more of it. That doesn't make your own preferences bad or wrong, and you should express your opinion on things that you like or dislike, but that's why I said earlier that you're probably an outlier on this particular matter. Have you checked your settings to be sure you don't have automatic kneeling enabled for just talking to the owner? Otherwise, adjusting settings to reduce the number of times you must kneel might reduce its effect on you. 2 hours ago, Anunya said: Would it be possible to get a Submission Score reduction and comment if the owner reaches zero health during combat? I think this option could add support for a number of RP type scenarios for the Master and Lola (Lola as bodyguard, Lola as heal slut, Lola as disposable bait/distraction). Basically, the Master is obviously both more competent and important than Lola, but she's still expected to pull her weight - and if the Master reaches 0 health, clearly she hasn't. It'd also synergize nicely with the potion feature, I think, encouraging Lola to provide more powerful potions to her Master. The mod already sort of does that, though without score reduction because submission doesn't directly equate to combat prowess. Poor performance on the battlefield just reinforces the owner's belief that sex is what you do best, so owner bleedouts raise the next prostitution quota (with a cap, so it doesn't stack to insane levels). Owners will also swipe healing potions from you after a bleedout, when combat ends (and they selectively take your best ones). Edited September 5, 2024 by Hex Bolt 1

Based on the "hard to please owner" chance, you might get zapped and penalized for not kneeling with the kneeling power (shout key). "Such an ill-mannered pet!" It doesn't occur often, it's more of an owner is in a bad mood thing, but you can avoid it by manually kneeling. Automatic kneeling removes that risk. Because it's basically already implemented, I could look at adding an option to require manual kneeling if enough players like this kind of game, though I anticipate a request for a mappable kneeling key and then it's a bit more effort. 1

I was thinking that the option to have an actual score reduction would let SubLola serve as a really solid foundation for Heal Slut type gameplay (with actual mechanical implementation) which I'm currently investigating and trying to set up. If that's outside your vision for this mod to provide that option, that's fair enough - no harm in asking I reckon Edited September 5, 2024 by Anunya

gazebo09 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Does "hard to please owner" lower score when it triggers? I like the roleplay of the owner being more of an abusive PoS looking for excuses to shock and whip Lola, but if it can lead to the pitfall of dropping deep into the negatives and making it harder to fulfill contract quotas, then it might not be worth it.
Hex Bolt Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 14 minutes ago, gazebo09 said: Does "hard to please owner" lower score when it triggers? Not always. It might just mean a higher chance of extra rounds of sweeping. When it does lower score, it should never be more than one point, which won't hurt much. You can both gain and lose points during the same event. I don't think it ever triggers punishment, so it won't add contract days in itself. Try it, then adjust it or set it to zero if you think it's too much, but it will probably work well with what you seem to have in mind. I wouldn't start higher than 50% though, even for an abusive owner. 21 minutes ago, gazebo09 said: an abusive PoS looking for excuses to shock and whip Lola There's a separate setting for a chance for whipping instead of a random zap. No effect on score, but it's a longer punishment scene and whipping does have a debuff for the pain, so you'll feel abused. 1
Hex Bolt Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 Advance notice for a change coming in the next update. For custom confessions, "Dreams" will be replaced with "Secret". Dreams and Fantasy were too similar with too much overlap. "Secret" is the thing you most want to keep hidden. Fun possibilities here. For example, "I had to beg my follower to make me a slave" if you chose the "Convince Me" start, or "I fell for that 'pretend auction' trick." In Confessions.json, you will have to replace "Dreams" with "Secret" and change the confession text as appropriate.

I considered those two things. Regarding the exiled jarls, I considered they were important enough that Master would be happy to show off his dominance in front of them. On a related issue, it also came to mind that in both Whiterun and Falkreath the jarl is sometimes in another room looking at the battle map of Skyrim. I can't remember if other jarls have another room with a battle map they look at. In Whiterun, even if the jarl doesn't see Lola abasing herself because he's upstairs, by the time she's within his activation radius, there are probably other important people downstairs that would. In Falkreath, maybe not, but personally I'd be okay with a hiccup now and again. I understand your desire to avoid making Submissive Lola: the Resubmission script-heavy. I expect many people besides you and I feel that way. I've been pleased that my highly modded game crashes as seldom now as before I added your mod. Well done. Edited September 6, 2024 by wren888 1

Særtr Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Is there any way to place a nudity marker before submission 50+? I need to put one down for the weight restriction in time to relax as I am building a house (mod) and so I am regularly moving lots of ingots thus tend to be overweight constantly. I am not even using the nudity rule, I just want a way to stop A Time to Relax in this specific location.

Pink Shop Thing I keep Forgetting The Name Of has 10 spots and as you sweep them and lower their numbers to 3, they keep reappearing until you do your task set. DCL spawns a whole bunch of "dirt" which is actually a are skinned piles of ice from an ice wraith (or so it looked to me) and tasks you to deleting 15 of the 30 or so it puts around town. Both are fine, but if you want a job simulator I think the Pink method where you spawn a set number of -perhaps deviously hidden dirts and you get to collect them is closer to what Gina had in mind. Who wants left over dirt piles. (2) I apologize, some of the tone got lost in text, aided by the fact that English is my third language. I also tend to use "you do" instead of "one does" because native grammar, which adds to the confusion. I agree, I have stumbled mid-mod upon something that, even though I liked, is not really made for this. It's more of a role play mod. I'll have a fidget with the settings. 12 hours ago, CaptainJ03 said: Uhm, which mod are you referring to with DCL? Turns out he's just being funny, the restraints are his. It's Brynjolf? Or Vekel the Man, the bartender. The hunt game was fun, but I have a batch file for the prick's sandwich. The boot licking event would never trigger if it's bound to the Jarl's vicinity. I'm still thinking about the concept from @wren888's suggestion. Triggering at the entrance is still useful. One approach would be to allow it to trigger for either the entrance or proximity to a jarl, with a shared cooldown (you'll never have to do the event twice on the same visit). Another would be to trigger at the entrance but order you to move to a more visible location. A complication for proximity is that Irileth and Faleen will force greet the PC at a fairly long distance from the jarl on your first meeting. I can solve that (and simplify the implementation) by having the PC initiate the final step by telling the owner this this is a good spot, with condition checking to ensure that it is, but it would be nicer to have the owner decide and stop you. If the owner decides, I'll have to cancel any scene the jarl might be in (as I do during Slave to Fashion when presenting yourself to the jarl) or risk having your display of obedience occur while the jarl is discussing finances or troop movements with the steward. Currently, there's no time of day check, but there probably should be. With the original purpose of cleaning shoes, that wouldn't matter, but if the main intent is to show off Lola's obedience, a midnight performance is wasted. 2

Wish it was possible to move around while sweeping so that way you could sweep the entire room/house before being allowed to stop or made to redo the job to the Owners satisfaction. Then again, i'm sick that way. Even if it was possible, i realize most other players would likely hate that it would take so much time. To get around that, i use Idle Animations WheelMenu...works great for sweeping and working in the garden/fields, depending on the Owner's dwelling. For the obsessively tidy or submissive, what about freestyle cleaning? Whenever a standard broom enters the PC's inventory (it can't be equipped, though I might be able to detect if the player tries to do so) the PC gets the sweeping power, which is automatically selected. To make it more than roleplay, each use of the power is worth a tenth of a point, up to a full point, once per day (additional voluntary sweeping would have no reward). When a broom leaves the PC's inventory, the sweeping power is removed. Keep a broom at home for this purpose. The owner might even give you one the first time you're ordered to sweep at home.

Anunya Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 @just_Gina - I urge to to check out the mod Sweeping Organizes Things - when you sweep it actually puts misplaced clutter back to where it is supposed to be. It works pretty well for what it is, but it can't do the things that you described. Many of the mod's events have cooldowns, but others are unconditional because the mod needs some events that are valid anywhere, so they're subject to the streakiness of random selection. On 9/5/2024 at 7:38 AM, Jim55 said: [on player motivation game design] I generally agree. This mod aims to use bondage in ways that don't hamper normal gameplay. You can be bound for a short event (or for your stay in Solitude, if you opt in to that) but otherwise you can play Skyrim. (A notable exception is the blindfold event. I inherited that and chose to keep it out of respect for the original author, but I shortened it to 1 day (from 3) and gave it a cooldown/toggle.) As you said, a heavier focus on bondage and loss of control would really be another mod. You might also look at the two more recent add-ons for this mod. Although it lacks the scene, you can designate any other current follower to be your new owner (mod mechanics assume that the owner is an active follower). Use it as a permanent or temporary handoff. I see Sweeping Organizes Stuff for SE and Broom Sweeping for LE. They both do the same thing in a similar manner. Clicking a broom in inventory sweeps once to clean the area. I think I can trigger either, if the mod is installed, by doing an equip call on the first sweep of the SLTR event. If I do something with this, I'll need someone to test it with Sweeping Organizes Stuff. Did you just volunteer? EDIT: Unfortunately, after investigation, I found that using EquipItem from a script (or the console) does not activate the OnObjectEquipped event that the sweeping mods use, probably because it's a non-equippable item. You have to click on the broom. So, I can't trigger those mods. I could maybe give you a free broom to use on your own. EDIT 2: For now, the owner's toy box will also have a broom. You can ask to open it at home and in inns to use with sweeping mods. The broom won't be present during Home Beating, as much as that would be, since it's not a weapon, and ZAP whipping wouldn't recognize it even if it were. EDIT 3: The next update will add a broom as a beating weapon. Ever think your owner is a witch? An owner will be able to beat you with a broom. Thank you to @Snakeybb for testing on SE.
