dingydingydoo Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. This mod will not show up to add to a playeset. All other mods I've downloaded are working and showing up normally. I've completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled. I don't know what else to try. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
妖心病狂 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Has anyone encountered this problem: even if both my characters are 100% fertile, it is difficult to have children between them. In my first archive, the two had no children from the age of 20 until they were 45 years old, even though I had actively let them have sex many times. In the second file, the female character did not give birth to two children until she was 40 years old. The AI-controlled characters on the map also often have no children, and I have often seen kings of other countries have no descendants. Which mods actually reduce fertility? Or is there a conflict between which mods? I have searched for a long time but couldn't find the reason, and there is no fertility-reducing content enabled in the rule settings. please help me! (cry)

Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance. ps I also include load list that I am currently trying to play just in case... Hey, I'm wasting too much time on mod compatibilities and load orders and couldn't fix it can you upload this playetset for those like me? Or anyone who can share a playset I'd appreciate it. Debug log kept showing gui errors for "icon does not have glow" or something like that. Disabling the Allow Slavery in Game Rules seems to have fixed it (unless I disabled something else too). Icon glow in debug is an error present in the base game and entirely unrelated. Also error.log is where you need to focus, rather than debug.log.

If you're having issues after that then it's either incorrectly installed or being caused by a different mod.
Guest Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Anyone else getting an immediate CTD? I've been having a consistent crash at 17 NOV 1066, so I isolated all the way down to Carnalitas alone, now it crashes as soon as the game is unpaused. No other mods running.

Is there any mod out there, be it decision, scripting or trait that would allow the Futa/Hermaphrodite characters from this mod to impregnate a female spouse? Last time I tried to do it with debug but it's always just an unknown father which makes it a bastard. Which is....tolerable...but obviously I want something better. How is this person doing it with the debug I wonder? I use the default games debug and it doesn't work like it used to in CK2. I'm assuming this is part of the mod? If so then I might have an excuse to install it since I don't mind having unknown fathers. Easy to fix with a save edit if I value them as an heir.

Debug mode is a mode you can select when launching CK3 that allows you to input console commands. Designed for testing but often used for cheats and edits. Console commands can be used to trigger a pregnancy that otherwise couldn't happen where you specify the character ID of both the mother and father. If father is left blank the parentage is unknown. Mods can't call up console commands, so there's no mod that will do this.
xyzxyz Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Can I reduce the event cooldown like for the "make love" event somewhere in the settings or game files? Sex once in 5 years is stupid^^

Even if it won't show up in the family tree getting the genetics is kinda the most important otherwise what's the point. I wouldn't really need a mod to do it for me, mods would be nice to add the... situations and traits but yeah I'm absolutely not against using debug to fix the story if I know how to get that to work.

I use the Steam mod Free Console Access Compatible for console access, there's several published. https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2464258117 I use the console command: pregnancy [mother ID] [father ID] So it looks like: pregnancy 12345 67890 The "father" can be anyone, male or female, or even yourself. The family tree gets a little wonky but if you click on each of the parents it shows the child as belonging to them. Genetic traits inherit like normal.

SureFerret Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Is the Carnalitas framework abandonned ? If there is community patch like GUK_Carn_fix that haven't been integrated to the main release/project. Ty for the patch by the way. ?

You do not "have sex", to phrase it as it were in the basis of this conversation. I don't know why you think this sort of passive aggressiveness in the face of a clearly broken system that is clearly not what some people want is warranted. 1
