yeah the fact that paradox changed the entire GUI system in the most recent patch, Caranitas is NOT currently working, patch for it is estimated to be about a week

Ok to begin Im not a native english speaker so sorry if I dont make myself clear enough.

 

So I've analized the main errors in this mod and found that (as someone said previously), the main problem its the GUI archives, mainly the ones that I uploaded which AFAIK are fixed and now should work correctly because I've tested the game for 10 in game years in observer mode.

 

If You are an user and want to use these "fixes", these should replace archives in the GUI folder of the mod, the last one 'buttons_icons.gui' should replace the one in the folder gui/shared.

 

And as I said these are the main errors, there are still hundreds of lines in my 'error.log' archive related to different archives of this mod, although Im not sure if thats really important as thats usual in all the mods of CK3.

 

Also im new in this forum so idk if posting about other mods here is a problem, but just in case, it seems that the errors related to the CBO mod, seem to be that the only GUI archive 'window_event.gui' got split into 4 archives in a new subfolder called 'event_windows', and also that in the /gfx/models/portraits/attachments directory, some archives have been renamed by Paradox for some reason and that may affect the relation between the .asset or .mesh archives, and the apparently new .dds that I guess must be the textures. Thats what I've seen from CBO and I haven't been able to launch the game into the main menu screen with that mod activated.

Thats strange, are you sure you replaced the 3 files in the GUI folder of carnalitas? and are you using other Carnalitas mods?

Because I just took these 2 images of the game that I left playing in spectator 10 years and as you can see I can even play with other mods from steam and its showing the normal gui with their spouses.

Hmm, I did have a sub mod for carnitas. I will try without. Also are you using normal Carnitas or dcarnitas?

It worked with just Carnitas, nice work! If only it could allow Expanded Slavery and Reimagined Slavery sub mods, basic Carnalitas doesn't let you do too much with them. Do you think you could create a similar fix?

Actually, slavery expansion has tutorial on how to change gui. So if you follow it, keeping in mind that now there is three gui files instead of one, you probably will achieve catharsis.

So, I just your patches and it seems to work for me. I don't get the error with characters spouses being themselves with broken ui code.

Cannot marry females

Cannot impregnate females.

 

Paradox really made this game hard to mod when those features aren't in... didn't they? Is there any hope we will ever see them. I kinda don't see the point without it.

If you are only using Carnalite you do not need to downgrade to 1.8.2

 

Then just use the Carnalite mod the official one toss in the GUK carnalite fix.. and toss in the 3 files Axalon given into that mod with the last file make a directory in the mod gui, call it shared. you know what will upload it the file for you

 

If you want CBO CBO_carnal_court Carn_slavery_expanded (which needs a lot of GUI rework.. while the files load ok) 

Physical attribute etc. then you downgrade to 1.8.2

 

Loadorder is then.

Barbarshop.. (one of the reason paradox included it in base game to stop people messing up load order)

CFP (community flavor pack is what most people download for more clothes) 

Carnalite (think the official on this site has been upgraded if not, then get cheri song carnelite and GUK_carnalite_fix just toss GUK carnalite fix into the carnelite is easier)

CFP compatibility patches.

Physical attributes (if you want even bigger breast and butts)

Carnalites slavery expanded.

 

You can ad anything afterwards, unless you use total conversion mod, then the order and compatibility patches will be different.

 

Anyway a lot of work has to be done cause of the GUI changes ... some easy others very hard. aside from CBO needs to go trough a lot of clothings portrait properties and gui work again.

definitely waiting for the update of version 1.9 .

i think it makes no sense to downgrade to 1.8 , in the last update they implemented many very useful things ,
I also understand that the work takes a long time coz of the GUI rework, for this reason I thank you in advance and I hope a good job will be done.

I encountered a bug that I can't press the button religions on under the left side. and the royal count mark on the side of the screen disappeared I don't know how to fix it.

 

I don't know from which mod the problem comes from. I have a religion mod and a succubus mod too. It's difficult to test one mod at a time like skyrim. Because ck3 this game has been open game for a very long time.

Same sex marriage is available, you need to check game settings though. Futa and same sex pregnancies are more of a fetish thing and won't be available, unless they do it under adoption or something similar.
