I think I found it.... Unofficial Carnalitas GUI Fix for 1.7.0.zip But Is fix for 1.7 and game version is 1.8

Don't forget to but it right behind Carnalitas in your load order.

 

Maybe you are using the 'Submissive Partners' mod, than you will need this fix too: 

 

 

Don't forgot to update CBO and Physical Attributes if you are using them, they were updated on Monday.

Presumably EK2 does the same for it's own purposes. Someone would need to merge both sets of changes.

 

Can't say I'm finding gui code easy to get my head around, it's not the same as the rest of the scripting code.

 

Given that Cheri isn't active with CK3 right now, I don't think it's likely to happen any time soon.

I'm no modder and haven't done anything with ck3 before. I just wanted to play ek2 with carnalitas base features. 

So here is my quick gui fix (basically i just opened ck3 and ek2 window_character.gui with vscodes compare feature and copied everything into one file). I don't think that this makes both mods perfect compatible, but i havent recognized any errors during my playthrough.

My load order is: (Loading EK2 after Carnalitas crashes my game)

EK2 

Carnalitas

GUK Fix Carnalitas

Cheri Daughters of Lust 

Carnalitas Slavery Expansion 

EK - Carn simple Gui fix

(steam mod: no death cascade (see below))

 

-if a mod has a gui/window_character.gui file it definitly will overide the Gui fix, if you load the mod after the fix. 

-there is a gui error in the slavery tab, but i'm too lazy to look for a fix

-i added a "youthify" option to daughers of lust, since i like to have an op char in end game instead of an op dynasty. with a succubus mastery level of 50 you can youthify yourself by using 100 sexual power. this lowers your age by 15 years and the other char gains 200 years (so it basically kills him a few days after draining his life). the death cascade mod is needed, because i changed the numbers of children i can have in "game/common/defines/00_defines.txt", and having lots of children will cause a stress-death cascade at one point (each sibling will gain stress if someone of that "generation" dies)

i'm not sure if there are any other errors to this, but in one playthrough i had like 1500 dynasty members and i took the game 5 minutes to open the dynasty tree for my character ^^)

Carnalitas is not showing up in the "game rules". I've corrected the gamepad and put the carn-fix after it in the load order. 

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  Do I have to change it to 1.7? Or?

For some reason my game keeps crashing even with the GUK_fix

Fullscreen Barbershop

GUK Fix Carnalitas

Character Body Overhaul

CBO Carnal Court

Physical Attributes;
 

When I look up the debug file on my most recent crash folder it shows the following
[pdx_gui_animation_datatype_valuehelpers.h:131]: Trying to trigger an animation with glow_alpha for a widget which has no glow

And on the error file it shows failure to reach some files. Don't really know what to do at this point.

I'm assuming Carnalitas is in that order somewhere?  GUK_Fix_Carn is only a fix patch, you still need the original Carnalitas.  Otherwise the load order looks okay, but if you're seeing errors for mods files not being found, it's possible you are having issues where the launcher bugs and fails to find the mod despite being set up correctly, I have put together some advice here:

For me I managed to make quite a large mod order list, and everything launched fine, but the carnalitas interactions are broken (carn_enslave_interaction for example, with description being carn_enslave_interaction_desc) and the different traits (bubbly butt big tits...) are either missing texture (purple and black) or simply missing the icon (only a blue/green/red background appears for the trait). Does anyone know what would cause this ? here's my mod load order:

I know it's a long list, I wanted to play an ultra modded game.

Nameplates isn't compatible with CBO. 

I'm not sure if Weddings Expanded is updated or not yet, worth checking. Same for Intimate Encounters.

 

It's worth noting many of the PA trait icons are just blue/red/green geometric shapes, so those aren't likely broken.

 

You might get issues with icons bring missing for Carnalitas Dei, there are some fixes suggested in the discussion thread to fix it.

 

The rest I'm not sure, I don't really use, you'd either need to try turning them on and off in your load order in groups to narrow it down, or try and identify mods that are especially overwriting the same base files/code, which can especially be an issue with gui elements.

Which mods exactly do you mean by "Carnalitas mods"? The only way to stop it is to narrow down by running without them one at a time.

 If it's crashing on load screen then Carnalitas isn't your problem.  you need to look at other mods.

I can confirm to anyone who tries to play carnalitas with the gui patch that it does work. I put Carnalitas and the proper patch at the bottom and it works like a charm. Take notice that the patch provided is not standalone, you still need carnalitas.

 

If your game keeps crashing, try to disable one mod at a time until crashed disappear, then you know which mod is rly the issue.

Can someone please help me with my load order/mod conflicts. Whenever I launch the game there don't seem to be any mod rules offered for Carnalitas or any other mods I've got loaded here. When I start a game there are also no modifications to the game at all as though it was vanilla. I checked the multiplayer screen and it says that the following mods are loaded but I never seem to find any changes to the game itself. See below for my load order and modlist.

I'd check that the file path in your carnalitas.mod for matches the folder location correctly first, a lot of people unpack the zip incorrectly and it ends up in an extra folder layer then intended (it should be mod/Carnalitas instead of mod/Carnalitas 1.7/Carnalitas for example).

 

If that's not the issue, it might be the paradox launcher failing to navigate to the correct folder,  in which case try these troubleshooting tips:

 

 

Lastly, some users have had issues with missing localisation for game rules in some languages, so might possibly be worth running the game in English to test if the game rules appear, if you're not already.

Error log shows it is running as expected, picking up the Carnalitas flags and variables.  What issues are you having?

Everytime I try to run Carnalitas, it just crashes. I used no mods aside from Carnalitas and the fix and it still crashes as soon as I try to make a character.

I suggest you verify your game files and reinstall the mods in that case, because even without the fix Carnalitas didn't crash character creation, the only part making the game crash that I had to fix was when the first characters started lactation during pregnancy and the game doesn't start with any pregnant characters.

 

The only other thing I can think to do would be clear your saved games, your error logs showed incompatibility with saved games having other mods used that you are not using right now.

Yeah thanks I managed to make it run with just Carnalitas. As soon as I involve other mods it crashes but I at least can run the base Carnalitas mods.
