bjornk Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 The way I got this to work was like the following 1) Install like you normally would (All the mods you're gonna use) using SkyUI 3.6. 2) Get in game, set those mods how you need, save, then save again (Not quick saves) and exit game 3) Install SkyUI 3.1 over 3.6 (Keep a copy of 3.6 handy) then go to the second to last save (The first of the two you just did, NOT the latest) 4) Now you can get Sanguine's Debauchery setup how you need. It'll be one option at a time, run around in circles between picking options to give things time to get activated 5) Once SD is setup, save, then wait a few moments and save again then exit. 6) Reinstall SkyUI 3.6 over 3.1 again 7) Restart game, then go to the second to latest save (The first of the two you just did) and load 8) It'll take a few seconds, maybe a minute for SD to kick in, so give it a good 90 seconds (A minute and a half) then check mod configuration, Should be working fine now. 9) Enjoy SkyUI 3.6? Isn't 3.4 the latest version?
lol123456 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 How exactly do you enter sanguines realm... I can buy my freedom but I can't get into his realm what conditions need to be met exactly like I need to have 50 demerit points or what

jbezorg Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 2013041304 - missing blindfold fixed, slower updates on demerit gains for staying close to the master ( roughly every 10 min now )[/size] Sorry, but what's the procedure to update from 2013041303 to 2013041304? Full uninstall, just drop some file in, drop all files, use NMM? Thank you very much XBox? From what I've read, it may take 2+ min for the DB scene to kick in. The dream sequence with Sanguine will not happen while the DB Entrance Quest is waiting for the player to go to sleep. ( i.e. when DBEntranceQuest.pSleepyTime = 1 )
jbezorg Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Updates 2013.04.14 Final*: 2013041401 Fuz Ro D-oh is now required. Blindfolds will now hide your compass. <insert evil laughter> Entering Sanguine's Realm quest has been tweaked. Dremora is on the rack, Sanguine dialogue checked to make sure it's visible when using Fuz. Master close oroximity demerit deductions changed to 3 game hours. By default, Skyrim time is 20x real worl time. So this converts to 9 min. real time. Boss #3 for "Payback's a Bitch" is now in Mistwatch. * I will still fix game breaking stuff but for the most part I will be working on SD2. Updates will move from a weekly to a monthly schedule.
Freeweasel Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Actually I already play with the compass disabled. Is it possible to update from 04.13 to 04.14 without deinstalling? It's great work and I hope now I will finally get able to go farther than being enslaved by some bandits. I'm curious about SD2 but think I will try out this version first.
theqmann Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Just noticed that the 5 scripts without _sd prefixes only include source files (.psc), not compiled versions (.pex) These 5 .pex scripts are still missing from the 4-14 release.
leavemealone1 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Does anyone have some specific recommendations for npcs that work well with thugslave quest? Or is it best to just steal from a generic bandit? Is it possible to steal anything from a bandit though? Their items are almost always unowned. If you want an interesting (and potentially buggy) thug experience then try stealing something from Drelas. ok, tried this, didn't work. The thugs enslaved character just fine. First attempt, the head thug just stood in place and never moved (this was just outside Drelas cottage). Second attempt I went to outside mistwatch and waited for thugs, enslaved again (had to console-kill mistwatch bandits who started attacking me). Head thug entered the keep grounds and just ended up standing around not moving again. Waited for about a week or so and nothing happened. Checked to make sure Drelas was alive with player.moveto (he was, until the two extra thugs attacked and killed him after the moveto). I also did a player.moveto for the bandit contact, that triggered payback is a bitch (getting things back). Aren't the thugs supposed to take me back to the person I stole from as a first option?
ketulu Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 First of all, a big thank you for this amazing mod. Here's a few questions: About the blindfold, in which situations is this item used? When is it used by slavers? As a spriggan host, I am supposed to trigger a reaction from NPCs. Doesn't seems to work. Any clues, maybe a console command to trigger the quest? The thugslave quest seems to be hard to trigger correctly. Any safe playthrough (like a specific NPC)?

If you are hosting a spriggan take a walk down the main street in Riverwood and talk to the people who are outside their houses during the day, someone you meet will trigger the next step or you aren't looking for people who are out very hard. Just steal some items in a few places, the thugs will be along.
Cocein Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I'm having trouble figuring out how to escape once I'm enslaved. I've read the description, the help menu, etc, but nothing seems to work. My character got enslaved by a bandit chief. There are supposedly a few ways to escape, steal his key, kill him, run away, bribe him, or join him. I can't get a single one to actually work to remove the "enslaved" status. I'm not sure what the proper way to escape actually is, because nothing has worked. I tried one method where I cut my bonds with a weapon on the ground, stole the bandit's key, picked up a sword, killed him, then ran all the way back to breezehome and had a nap. Still technically "enslaved" according to the mod, despite a dead captor, and me sleeping comfortably in my house. So I reloaded and tried the bribe method. I gave him the gold required to earn my freedom. I talked to him, he told me I was free to go, my bonds were removed. However, the "enslaved" status remained. I could run around the world as I liked, but I was still technically enslaved. The quest for Enslaved told me to talk to my master. So I went back and talked to him, but there were no dialogue options. As though the quest failed to update that bit when I talked to him and he freed me. It also said that I was free to go, and I had an hour to get away. So I ran a mile away from the place, waited 24 hours, Sat around in real time for a while, and still nothing. Then I went back and killed my master, and took all my stuff back. Still enslaved. I really need someone to explain to me if some other mod is causing a conflict, the mod itself is to blame, or if it's supposed to be this way and I'm doing something wrong. I'm using S3, Prison overhaul, and SexIS_WorkingGirl as well. Sanguine's Debauchery is being loaded last.

It's great work and I hope now I will finally get able to go farther than being enslaved by some bandits. I'm curious about SD2 but think I will try out this version first. I just tried to update without deinstalling (this is the only way I could test the thug quest changes ASAP), and the new thug quest destination (Mistwatch) is broken. Could be a problem due to not deinstalling, if the install needs to alter Mistwatch. Either way I recommend you do a deinstall. First problem is I was attacked by the bandits in the courtyard of the keep. The uesp wiki says those bandits are unusual in that they're territorial, not hostile. Master didn't get attacked. Second problem was that master just kept trying to walk into a wall at Mistwatch. He was right next to a drawbridge, which was in the "up" position. He might be getting stuck because the bridge is up. Also, if you happen to be traveling to that keep from Windhelm, the guards will walk you right through the middle of dragon infested badlands. On one try I got a dragon soul as a helpless slave, because after a pair of bears killed the thugs, a dragon attacked the bears, got double teamed by a giant, and died. I only got to the keep by leading the thugs around the dangerous areas before getting captured. This isn't necessarily a "bug" because it was kind of cool.

If you want an interesting (and potentially buggy) thug experience then try stealing something from Drelas. Yeah. Had "Bandit" on the contract note for the thugs one time. It happened when enslaved by a bandit. The bandit faction and the player share a crime faction at that point. _SDF_slaverCrimeFaction.

jbezorg Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 Is there a list of options as to what can happen in the mod? All i have is my character beaten and forced into sex with the mistress. What do demerits do? If enough time passes ( you can set it in MCM ) and if you have a demerit score below 0, you can start working for you master. demerits also determine what type of punishments you receive. Get your demerits low enough ( equal to of below -50 ) then you can get the option to join your master's faction. You can try to run away ( it's important to break line of sight when first trying to run away ) You can steal the key ( Of course it's very obvious that you are free and will be attacked ) Steal weapons to free yourself ( again, keep out of sight of your master while doing so ) And more stuff...
jbezorg Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 while enslaved that is A 3rd person narrative as an example: Isabella has been enslaved by some Forsworn at a hillside camp in the Reach. She managed to take out one of them but the other one got her. When she lost, she dropped her weapon in the grass. She knows where it is but she is staying away from it. Least her master see it. If she gets too close, he might see it and take it away. She's waiting. Biding her time for when her master sleeps. When he does she'll use it to cut her bindings and then try to kill the Forsworn. This is the idea behind SD because the alternative narrative would have been Isabella died fighting some Forsworn at a hillside camp in the Reach... but she got better.
