noplacetorun Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 the bandits in mistwatch will attack the player character on site regardless of the thugs escorting her, which do nothing to protect the character, secondly the drawbridge and the locked door after entering the first tower stop the thugs pathfinding ability leaving them standing by the rockface, or outside the door respectively Confirmed.
bjornk Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Thugs bringing the player to normally hostile NPCs have always been problematic. They always attack both the thugs and the player. A temporary faction change for the thugs and the player is required in such cases.

You should find a "neutral" faction, or every time you cross a town you'll have the same problem with guards and civilian
DatBoy Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I can't try this myself today. I hope it will help. addtofaction <faction ID> <faction rank> Valid numbers for the faction rank vary, but 0 will always add the actor with the lowest possible faction rank and -1 will remove the actor from the faction. 000E0CD9 Bandit Ally Faction
xephion Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 ok at first when a spriggan did the thing to slave you my game ctd then i read i needed the custom skeleton i downloaded and now the spriggan starts to rape me and when it cums or when is finished it, the game ctd p.s. she didnt give me the armor and when i try to do console command setrace sprigganhost it says it cant find the script what can i do to repair this

The thugs should just be in BanditAlly period, the player should be in it at least until transferred to the new owner.
Guest Xluxlu Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 hello, i have a problem, i complete the quest of spriggan in previous versions and now the spriggan ante the animals don´t atack me... sorry mi bad english, help please
testarossa Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Also, I've been testing indentured servitude and I can't figure out how it's supposed to work. It looks like crossing an area transition starts the "escaping" state, but there's also something (maybe a timer) which will kick in and return me to master even if he's far away. I've been trying this with NPCs in Riften, which I can get to enslave me if I'm already bound from a previous escape. Am I supposed to just quickly steal a lot of stuff? For SD2 I suggest rethinking this because right now indentured servitude seems to mean "collect X gold and you'll get your items back". In my opinion slaves should have no cheap and easy way to get their items back, your stuff is worth far more to master than you are. For example, you could just have the slave sent out with a totally non-removable, cursed collar. After a certain period of time they are hit with some debuff that is annoying enough to make the player choose to return. Maybe regularly getting staggered or something.
greee3423 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 this version is never enslavement , i tested in misswatch
whatto51 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I have a problem, enslavement simply doesn't end. Not when timer expire, not when I steal the key and bindings disappear. I still have the enslaved status and bandits recognize me as slave and are not hostile. Indentured is impossible to run, as master doesn't follow you and when you exit from his los the timer starts. I'm using version 2013041304, don't know if something has changed from this one. Thanx

That's a fukin ace idea. keep shouting it at jbezorg until he makes it ! praps huge reduction in carrying capacity, and increasing over time, so as to encourage the slave back to their master.

There are lots of details you can add, I'm just trying to come up with something really simple to implement. Call it a shock collar. After time away from master, the collar starts to shock you more and more regularly. If shocks produce a stagger effect or drain stamina or something like that, it'll be really annoying but won't prevent you from getting back alive. There are some complications with this: 1. Even a high level character with a ton of gear shouldn't be able to just get rid of the collar. I suggest that it only comes off if master removes it in dialog. If master dies, kill the player as well (they'd better know to reload anyway). 2. If someone with a control collar gets enslaved by a new master, they're stuck with the old collar. The collar can be a quest which is entirely distinct from slavery, so you can be enslaved by one master and collared by another. 3. Money required to pay off indentured servitude should probably increase according to the player's level.
Erlekin Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Uh, about the spriggan quest - you get the Summon Spriggan spell, and when I used mine (it was after I got rid of the host) it spawned a Flowering Spriggan who then raped my char and gave me a quest to go to another place to complete the life cycle. However, I got no armor like first time. Is this supposed to happen?
Clangeddon Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I'm back (again!) promise, last time I'll bug anyone about this (at least with this update :-) ) So I tried what Jb recommended for my controls not working (though the 'restore default' option didn't work either...I had to manually change and change back), and the issue still persists. Any other ideas? Thanks!!
tm2dragon Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Is anything special supposed to happen at the end of "A Night to Remember" when I enter Sanguine's realm? Is there any special dialogue or interaction with Sanguine himself? I went through the quest, and I somehow expected there to be some sort of tweak to it, but everything seemed perfectly normal, as though the mod wasn't installed at all. What's this about "Entering Sanguine's Realm"?

testarossa Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I just did the thug quest on the latest SD and it's bugged in many different ways. I wonder if it was tested on a game where Mistwatch had already been cleared, because the place can't even be entered otherwise. Here were the issues: 1. At level 24, the thugs can never reach their destination unless I use the console to kill everything that attacks us. They're outmatched by many of the random encounters by the road. 2. The bandits in the Mistwatch courtyard kept killing me (but not the thugs), even if I added myself to Bandit, BanditAlly, and BanditFriend factions. I had to kill them in console. This could be because they're a bit special in that they only attack if you get too close. 3. The Mistwatch drawbridge is up until you activate it personally (to do this while enslaved I had to use tc on master). 4. Inside Mistwatch I lost control of my movement, which may be intentional but can easily cause glitches. If master went in the main entrance and I waited long enough to be automatically sent through the door myself, I was stuck in a kneeling position. 5. The first door inside Mistwatch was key locked. We couldn't get through it, and since I had no controls I couldn't open it in the console. I don't think you can unlock it without the questgiver in the next room. 6. Bonus bug... if I pickpocket master's key while I'm not hidden, the enslavement quest ends but I'm still not allowed to move away from him. Even though he's attacking me, and even after he's dead, I can't move away. 7. Another bonus bug... master doesn't react to my pickpocket attempts failing, even if I'm not hidden. That means I can pickpocket his key 100% of the time just by trying over and over. I've got to say, having the thugs walk the player to the destination is cool for the first ten minutes of the first try, but in my level 24 game it's flat out impossible for them to ever survive to their destination. What about having the thugs "knock out" the player and just teleport them to their destination, where they get introduced to their new master? Enslavement works pretty well, it's getting from A to B that causes the problems. Teleport would also mean the player wakes up without knowing where the heck they are or exactly how to get out!
greee3423 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 i tested in halted steam camp, it work enslavement, but first sex after bandit attack me , and NEW sex animaion is broekn, default animaion works but NEW added animation is problem zaz punishiment is working fine added : 3~4 punishiment and wearing binefold after CTD (With binefold, all accesory added)

But, regarding this point, let the thugs get killed and escape.

ArielFetters Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Quick question. Is the Spriggan armor when you're hosting CHBHC compatible? I've looked but I can't find out Got a whole concept going here lol. Ivy, the Spriggan Breeder!

Good idea, maybe it's possible to choose between teleport and classic way to the thug master. For the knock out option, I wonder if there is a console command for that (I mean, the ragdoll animation, that we can see after each SD sex scene, for exemple.), because I'm trying to create a mod with a storyline, and I would like to start the script quest with the female PCbeing knocked down (visible scene), and then black screen, and wake up in the fisrt zone of my mod. Thanks in advance! (Maybe it exists somewhere on the forum a thread about scripts commands, and how to use Creation Kit?)
