Okay, that's from the sslv_ssdefeat script.  I haven't ever touched that.  From what I can see, it used to trigger the walk to the slave market in the version of SS+ (one "plus", Lozeak's version) that supported Devious Framework.  SS++ grew from the non Devious Framework version of SS+.  I must have inadvertently pulled in the sslv_ssdefeat script.

I don't think that sslv_ssdefeat is going to do anything.  Its BeginQuest() function sends the "SSLV Entry Extended" mod event, which SS++ does not recognize, because the non Devious Framework version of SS+ didn't use it.

Thank you very much for bringing this script to my attention.  It seems best to just remove the sslv_ssdefeat script, since it was not intended to be in SS++ and it can't accomplish its intended function.

Haha I looked at the wrong file. You could put the guard checks into sslv_daintscript.psc though.

How does a male character BUY slaves at the auction?

The player character cannot buy slaves in this mod, regardless of gender.

Search the entire thread with the word 'male' - found nothing.

How does a male character BUY slaves at the auction? No dialogue for it.

this is strictly designed as a "sell the player as a slave" mod, not a "buy slaves for the player." last i heard, Paradise Halls was the only real viable option for what you're looking for.

Ok, thanks. I've ended up on SS auction as a female dragonborn a few times.

Hey everyone pretty new here and to the modding scene in general. Thought I had most of it figured out and everything was running smoothly but I've kinda run into a snag. Using the Simple Slavery ++ mod I run into this issue where inside the MCM menu it says Script Integrity Check Failed This mod will not work correctly. I am currently using Simple Slavery Plus Plus 6.3.16. I tried using 6.3.15 and didn't have this pop up however the mod still did not function for me. No really sure why. I've tried moving it around in the load order and reinstalling it and double checking all required mods were also installed but have had no luck. I'm trying to link an image to the post but it doesn't seem to be letting me. Maybe HTML will work. If anyone has any clue as to why this might be happening any help would be greatly appreciated.

That should not happen. Which mod manager are you using, and did you have an old version of SS++ installed at one point, but not removed the scripts properly? Unfortunately, some MMs tend to forget removing scripts, which is really annoying.

Do you have all the prerequisites, which are only Fuz Roh D'oh and ZAP - if you have the latter, avoid ZAP9, t.ara herself admits that it's buggy.

disable anything else and look if this mod works.

If it does - re-enable other stuff until you find the culprit.

If your list of installed mods is right - I would de-install naked defeat. Never worked for me and has a tendency to mess up and overwrite other mods.

I use nexus mod manager and this is the first time I have used this mod so there shouldnt be old versions. I think I am using ZAP 9 and I also have naked defeat so I'll try using zap 8 instead and turning naked defeat off and see where I get with that. Thanks for the help.

as @BigOnes69 already said: every time you add or remove a mod that comes with animations, you have to run FNIS.

I am writing a diary on everything I add or remove to my modlist, and when I started fiddling with animations, every so often the entry reads: "Run FNIS, Idiot!" ?

Nexus mod manager is outdated and no longer supported as it had problems not entirely removing uninstalled mods. You should really be using its replacement, Vortex, or switch to Mod Organizer 2.

Welcome to LoversLab!  It's a helpful community.  Just keep asking questions and you'll get everything working.

Just so I'm clear on this, you're saying that the script integrity check problem has gone away?  If so, that's good news.  For what it's worth, that error would not be caused by a particular version of ZAP.  It's an internal check to catch situations where a player has scripts installed from more than one version of SS++, which is bad.  It looks like what you did with your mod manager resolved that.

There is a community supported version of NMM that works just fine. I still use it.

I have no door to the slave auction and no mcm menu. all i did was install the mod. Is it because i have devious framework? if so; i just thought framework didnt lead into ss, not that it fucked it over (assuming thats whats happening)

any help would be greatly appreciated

No offense, but are you certain that the mod got installed?  The missing door could occur if you're using Open Cities (there's a patch somewhere to add the door to OC), but otherwise it's a good indication that the mod isn't in your game.  If you run "help sslv 4" in the console, you should see a bunch of results if the mod is installed.

No.  This mod doesn't use it, but it isn't adversely affected if you have it.

i only got one result, for a quest. I installed the mod through mod organizer. the most recent version

Make sure you got the right version. Then reinstall. Clearly something didn’t work.

That's not right.  You should have seen 2 cells and 3 quests.

Check for loose files that might be overriding the latest Simple Slavery.  Script files from the mod all start with "SSLV".  Unless you have Open Cities and need the door patch, be absolutely sure that you have not patched Simple Slavery in any way.

I deleted it and reinstalled, cleaned the save too

Do you still only get one result when you run "help sslv 4"?  If you run "coc sslvmarket", does it take you to the auction hall?

Hi, is Simple Slavery connected to Defeat Baka Edition ? In game there is no check in the MCM, is it not suported or there is another issue ?

I thought so but if you don’t see it, that’s a question for Baka Defeat
