venus67 Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 I had to clean out my mods folder and throw them all in a different folder to make sure I still have everything before the June 2nd patch. To be honest, the only thing I like from the Eco pack is the Candle maker. That's it. Everything else is mehhhh.

Whoops. ?

Whoops. ? I bought a 32GB thumb drive for my mods folder. It was *just* enough. Then I started hitting up TSR and elsewhere for new lots. I need to stop and get another one on my way home in the morning.

thaclone Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 so, that's it for me being in Europe and now having evening and the patch will be rolled out tomorrow, this was the last time playing TS4 for at least this week I even uninstalled the game, which I do once in a while and I hope, that the mods will be updated until the weekend *fingers crossed* and in advanced to save my nerves, I won't be reading the forum for at least until the weekend as well stay save, stay healthy and STAY THE FUCK CALM ?

Yeeeesssss), but dang do I need my mods. I dont know how I played without them. Well, Im already ready for this, with some new video games downloaded and some building projects I can focus on in the meantime. Im looking forward to Eco Living! I just can't wait to have my sims live and fuck in garbage.

Like I previously said, I have a separate folder (Not in my Sims 4 game/folder itself) with everything organized into "Females"; "Males"; "Children"; House (with even more sub-folders like "Living Room"; "Dining Room"; etc.); and so forth. I do need to organize it again (I need to stop downloading so much CC--I am terrible! ?) just for peace of mind, I guess. If anyone else wants to answer this question, be my guest. Good to know about the new announcement; don't want to have my stuff f'ed up (has happened to me 2 or 3 times when the Sims 4 and/or Origin has updated--Lesson finally learned).

Don't get me wrong as I know this thread has helped some but you have others that only download mods and don't read anything else in the Sims 4 part of the forum. Tough love.
Scorpio Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 UICheats is still broken for me, updated v1.17.0 HUD is blank in game and can't use the menu to exit game even. Removed all mods except UICheats, repaired game, and even tried a starting a new game. No luck and still broken but others have reported it working fine.

I couldn't resist to not check the forum after the update and I can tell you: I was not disappointed at all great to read stuff like "what's the eta for this mod to work again" and "I updated the game, but now nothing works" everytime I am really pleased with stupidity of many internet users ^^ and I still don't know if I should rage or laugh about all this. There's an urge deep inside me, that wants to repsond to every single comment about the broken mods I didn't even checked if there are any updates for my mods, because I don't care *lol* tbh it is nice and relieving to not play TS4 for a week or so so maybe I'll check my mods on the weekend and reinstall the game again

I laughed a lot on patch day. I'm still laughing at some of these people. Either learn how to properly install mods (which isn't hard for TS4), organize your mod folder and wait patiently for updates or don't mod the game. Simple as that.

Bug-Fix after that, you wait a few days and then you are safe to use the updated mods again I just prefer to uninstall the game during patch/EP time, just to get me some rest from playing and all the "check mod update compatibility"
oblivionwithdongs Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Not just mods that broke for me, can't load my sim's house post-patch with mods turned off, throws up some error with a bunch'a numbers, with mods enabled i at least get an exception report that I think is telling me it's an issue with a default maxis object. Guess I need to wait for them to fix it, shame, since i wanted to see if my sim was gonna piss fire.
