I agree with ya somewhat but this is the Sims and is defined as a "Life Simulation Game". Just another reason why the earlier Sims games were better... life was also better back then. Might be better if EA changed the theme to a Fantasy Game and went in another direction.

This is a game, you are right. And nobody forces you to play it or how to play it. The Sims is and was a game, intended in first place for children. So, tell me, is it bad to "teach" children to care for the environment? Or to tell them, that you don't need a huge house to live a happy life (Tiny Living EP)? Or that you don't need to feel like a female, just because you look like one? Just because you don't like parts of the game, doesn't make it a bad game at all. If you are not happy with it, just don't play it or invent a game that suits your personal understanding of a "perfect life simulator". and btw, even if I did the same, this is not a thread to complain about which EP is good or bad and why... this was a thread to tell people, that mods will break after update - nothing more, nothing less

I don't have any cc eye problems but also don't use any default replacements. All my cc eyes are non-default contacts in CAS makeup, just an FYI if you need a workaround. But you probably already know this anyway so...

Default replacement eyes is the only CC I've heard about breaking. EA released an emergency patch for the patch, so existing saves should work fine. I'm still waiting to update because a few mods I use need S4S to update before they can even start work on theirs.

The biggest bug I've seen so far is kids not being able to properly gain adult skills in stuff like piano, singing, logic, video games, etc. like they used to. Kids that were born or aged up to child after the patch can get some, but not all. It's hit or miss depending on what you try to skill up first. But there's a mod for that on MTS that seems to work around all this okay. Beware of the Eco Lifestyle upgrades! Do NOT insta-upgrade your toilets! There's a composting "feature" that will cause fires if you don't also install a bug farm to handle the compost. Three of my sims had the toilet go FWOOSH! on them when they were changing tampons. I'm blaming LittleMsSam for that one because the upgrade happened while I wasn't looking thanks to her autonomous upgrade when focused mod.

The bug occurs on standard upgrades too (compost), not just the instant ones. My sim had level 3 handiness and I let her take her time installing the compost upgrade. She used the toilet just fine, but when her mom went afterwards... she's no longer with us. I don't know if it makes a difference but it was a toilet from the Eco pack.

I don't know if it makes a difference but it was a toilet from the Eco pack. I just meant don't do the insta-upgrade, because it doesn't give you a choice whether or not to install the composting. With regular upgrades (that aren't autonomous), you can skip that one. And composting toilets going FWOOSH!! is not a bug, it's a feature.
