Hello, could anyone confirm what options I need to change in order to prevent milk overlay from appearing under chin and on breasts?

I have turned off Lactation Effects and also disabled the two Milk Overlay options on the next page. Would that suffice or do I need to worry about anything else?

btw you do have the texture file in your Data folder, right? it is called 'INVB_WastelandDairy - Textures.ba2'

Ah, That was the reason why. The file I got was sorta broken so some stuff didn't download properly. Redownloaded and reinstalled. everything is fixed

I love this mod a lot, but I'm just stopping by to say I'm also having great problems with the leaking breast lactation overlays.

As far as I can tell, the MCM option for overlays is for the drinking of milk, not of the leaking breasts. I can't find any option to disable leaking breasts.

Worse, my character's leaking breast overlays have been stuck active for several days, and I can't figure out how to disable those overlays. There doesn't seem to by an alchemy item or quest I can activate to get rid of the leaky breasts, and I've had her sleep through multiple days, passed time through multiple days and even passed several days with "sgtm 15" on to try to get those overlays to go away.

They just don't go away.

If there is a console command I can call to:

a) not get leaking breasts, or if she gets them, maybe only a few times per preganancy instead of every 11 hours, and

b) more importantly, how to disable the overlays when they're stuck and won't go away :)

Again, this mod is friggin' awesome. I'm just trying to figure out how to get rid of the overlays.

On a side note, the last few playthroughs the milker items stopped working. I think it happened when it switched to quest method, but that's not as big a deal as trying to get rid of the leaking breast overlays. Thanks! :)

Post Script: I spent hours doing everything I could think of from setting everything lactating related to zero, to waiting out entire pregnancies and way beyond, to searching for spells and the like that can disable the milk decals, to resetting the FPE and Dairy Framework related MCMs, to checking all MCM options half a dozen times over, etc. I just cannot get the leaking breast overlays to go away. Not killing the character, not recycling the character, not using LooksMenu, not disabling lactation, not disabling the perks, not trying what I could with quest stages. Those overlays just don't go away. I play survival, so I don't have the option to go back to an earlier save because all the saves I checked going back several levels already have the leaking breast overlays stuck active. Just a console command to disable the overlay would be great if it exists. Thanks :)

Hi, Invictusblade. I discovered exactly what sequence of events breaks the leaking breast overlays so that they never go away once they manifest.

After spending around 4 hours trying to disable the stuck ones, I caved in and reverted several days back to where the overlays were not stuck. Through normal activity when the leaking breasts kicked in, they went away after a game hour.

However, and I think this is what happened the previous time as well, I decided to use a bed to pass 23 hours. However, right before I clicked the rest key, the leaking breasts kicked in. After I slept 23 hours, the leaking breast overlays would not go away. Ever.

So if I sleep 23 hours in a bed with the leaking breast overlays active, the overlays are stuck forever. And I can't figure out any way to turn them off. They stay present.

Edit: It seems anything that interferes with the overlays expiring ends up in a situation where the overlays never expire. After making the above post I restored to an earlier save. The leaking breasts kicked in, and an AAF scene also triggered a moment later. After the AAF scene ended, the overlays were stuck again, never to go away.

The leaking breast overlays are quite problematic, and there's no MCM setting to prevent them from kicking in at all. The no-overlay settings do not affect leaking breasts.

Edit #2: No, the overlays got stuck again, and nothing interrupted them. They just kicked in and never go away no matter how long I wait. Whatever is making them get stuck isn't sleeping and isn't AAF. It's just getting stuck.

Edit #3: I might have found a pattern again. I had a save to right before the leaking kicks in, and I restored to it and immediately went into MCM before it kicked in. On a hunch I made the following change:

- The pregnancy length was set to 3 months (it was set in Wasteland Offspring)

- The lactation setting in Wasteland Dairy was for lactation to last 3 months.

On a hunch that maybe them being the same length made it get stuck active, I changed pregnancy length to 2 months on all non-humans and reset MCM for it.

This time the leaking in kicked in and then went away.

I'm guessing the leaking gets stuck the last month of pregnancy if those settings are equal.

Either way, though, it would be nice to have a console command or something we can use to clear the overlays if they get stuck :) Thanks.

Edit #4: I give up. I can't figure out how to keep the leaking overlays from sticking. After it cleared I did a 23 hour sleep in a bed, and on waking the leaking overlays were present and won't go away. I have no answer to offer.

Hi Invictusblade. I tried out your mod but i got the issue that not a single NPC is using the machine at all. They just stand next to it and do nothing else. They dont even moe to a different location. But if i try it with different NPC from a mod they do actually use it. What would be the fix for this?

Hi, on the issue of leaking overlays persisting, I never did figure out how to clear them, but after restarting to a much older save five times I found a combination of MCM settings for which nobody ever lactates, and that stopped the lactation overlays from starting and getting stuck.

However, my character tried on a milking item (I think the infected one from Diamond City doctor), and I set it to Automatic, and it actually seemed to be working fine for a while. But I unequipped it several game-weeks ago, and it still keeps spamming "Milking will be completed in an hour."

I have been trying for real life days to figure out how to stop the milking, but it won't stop. I even had my character wait several weeks unpregenant, and it won't stop milking her.

I tried equipping actual milking items, and then it simply started milking her two ways rather than replacing one.

A moment ago I found Brother James in the cult that lets you hand him all your items (all of them), and I gave him all my items and am completely gearless, and my character is still being milked.

Is there a way to get the milking quest or scripts to stop? My only option at this moment is to start over another game, but if I can't figure out how to prevent and stopt his the next game could have this happen again if I have the mod installed, and I'd really like to keep the mod installed.

[I do have MCM set to require resources. I just can't stop the scripts or quest from milking her. Even if she goes dry, I keep getting the message she's being milked.]

Thanks :)

Hi there!  I was having this issue.  I spoke with @Invictusblade about it.

He has added an enormous amount of content over the last few months.  He's also made changes to Globals and other things, that are persisted in save games.  Even using Resaver doesn't remove them.  The problem is the engine doesn't remove items that are no longer in the game.  So even if you reinstall after playing a bit.  You'll see a bunch of entries in the debug saying that the variable is being ignored, but it never deletes it.

I recently started a new game, and I've been playing with no issues.

If milking is interrupted when the character being stripped, such as in Violate, it will continue to finish that cycle, but for me, it stopped after that 30 or so seconds.  Same with milk leaking overlay. It was not going away when I updated in an existing save, both on the player and NPCs.  Also, there is an MCM option to remove the "Lactation Perk"  Have you tried that to see if it resets?  You can also use console to remove the perk.

My suggestion is that you start with a clean save, not a resave, but a save before you installed the mod, or a whole new game.  The current playthrough I have had no issues. It also has corrected any morph issues with pregnancy and cumflation.  (Cumflation while pregnant was fixed in the last release)

If you are still having issues, turn on debugging and send him or me the logs.

Hi, Sthan. Good to hear from you :) This is a new game that's having the issue, and it doesn't go away.

Yes, I tried removing the perk tons of times and tons of ways. I spent days trying to fix it with every single configuration and debug option in MCM and console I could think of it, and I finally gave up. I'm simply being spammed by the milking message non-stop and can't do anything to fix it.

And the only thing that stopped the leaking bug is not allowing any characters to lactate ever.

Oh well. I won't uninstall the mod because I think it's wonderful. But that non-stop being milked message or the leaking overlays that don't go away once they begin are frustratin g:)

If you send me your debug logs I'll have a go at it.

The lactation has a few small issues that I've overcome.  But if you can send me your mod list and debug, I'll try my best to fix or offer advise. :)

I had this happen with NPCs, not the player, for me.  If you are on a new playthrough, it is most likely a mod collision of some sort.  And unfortunately these are very hard to troubleshoot.  Its no one's fault. It just happens.

Have a lovely night!

That's so kind of you to offer, but after our conversation I decided to start a new game. The spam from the milking was problematic, and there's been a recent update to Sex Stats mod that needs a new game as well, so I'm starting over.

I'm also re-enabling lactation and all the stuff I turned off last game in hope it will be fine as you suggest :) Thanks :)

It took me the last couple of hours to select the MCM settings on all the mods *laughs*, but my character is ready to leave the starter bathroom now, haha.

Is it possible to disable the non-dairy parts of the mod ? It's way more than just a Dairy Framework at this point. ?

For those who remember, the oldest parts of this mod weren't dairy related at all, this is a growing extension of the creatures plugin for Family Planning. I've managed to use it and just ignore or otherwise not use the dairy-related features (though I do appreciate the additional realism of starting to lactate toward the end of gestation and after giving birth, and breastfeeding the infants would be nice too if the worn baby mesh didn't glitch out and get stuck so much; also extending Commonwealth Moisturizer to do lactation and milk drinking/dribble meshes instead of using overlays would be a minor improvement).

Are the breeding victims that look pregnant, actually pregnant?  The Show Target Pregnancy Info says they aren't but using Abort Pregnancy on them says the pregnancy is aborted.

Another thing, is the creature attack impregnation affected by fertility/infertility?

Does the creature attack impregnation have a cool down?  For example once a bloatfly attacks and I get the pregnancy chance notification, I'm unable to trigger it again.

I'm pretty sure there's no superfetation in this mod, so once you're pregnant you can't get impregnated by anyone/anything else until after you give birth or abort.

Currently no.  I had suggested that for certain races, one could be impregnated Alien style.

Yeah, if I ever get to a happy place with the mod I'm currently trying to get into releasable shape, the next thing I want to work on is an FPE extension to handle parasites, since they're not really like normal pregnancies. You're not their mother, you're their incubator and food supply. I'd rather go for more of a terror and body horror angle, the helplessness as they slow and then paralyze you while they're eating their way out. Maybe a bloatfly pumped eggs into you... you try to expel them, eww gross, but can you be sure you got them all? You're not feeling all that well, and that twitching, maybe something's hatched in there? Can you get to a doctor before it's too late? Maybe the larval secretions mess with your head, constantly horny, spontaneous orgasms, compelled to masturbate... yeah not only are you not going to find that doctor in time, you don't really want to any more.

Have you looked at the SexLab Parasites Mod for Skyrim?  I did really like that mod.  The Chaurus Egg expulsion is exactly what you are talking about.  That's exactly where my mind went.

Hah! No, I've never played Skyrim, but if I was less busy already I'd be quite tempted now!

It doesn't get me pregnant though.  I have the notifications on that tells me the percentage of getting pregnant.

Was testing out the creature attack impregnation, and it seems to trigger sometimes even when the attack and chance are 100%.  Maybe it's bad RNG but sometimes when I think I've got it working, I'll put the values lower and it stops working.  Putting the values back up doesn't seem to solve it.

Posted

Ok looking at the papyrus log it seems after a while the creature attack stops triggering.  In FPE_BloatflyPlayerScript OnHit it looks as if RegisterForHitEvent(akTarget) is only being called if the RNG is within the percentage, so it wasn't being registered again in the case of a failed attacked.  Moving RegisterForHitEvent(akTarget) out of the if block appears to have fixed it.
