skaw847 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Must have been Mid-90s..Don't know, which one was the first one, so here are some very early masterpieces from that time..at least regarding my memories... UFO: Enemy Unknown Ultima Underworld X-Wing/Tie Fighter Might&Magic III,IV,V Wolfenstein 3D Duke NukemDuke 3D Indycar Racing Commander Keen Stunt Island That was the time, when i didn't have my own PC. With my own PC a short time later began the great time of EA/Jane's Flightsims (<3) and after that..well...Half Life and more important the mods like CS (from the earliest alpha) and Day of Defeat.. Great Times back then..Only a few modern games can reach the experience i had with the good old games!
BruceWayne Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Oh man, I've totally forgotten about those Jane's flight sims. I had both US Navy Fighters and ATF and I've spent quite some time with them.
Duoleb The Chosen Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 here's mine for PC, in 96 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qouzvrK9i4M for flight simulators, well i played Jane's ATF, the Novalogic Flight sim games and then my favorite ones Quake and Doom which made me the insane sociopath that i am now
Dutchbat Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I'm guessing MSX also counts towards pc? In that case it was the first Metal Gear and Space Manbow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHFoiYmmm6M And omg!

Kaos Wulf Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Doom Doom II Heretic Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and omg has no one mentioned Rise of the Triad? Sure it comes off as a Doom clone but with all the environmental dangers and riddles, it set itself apart. And that soundtrack...
JUSSME Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 First game I played made for PC was Empire Earth. Although the first game I played on PC was pokemon Red on the Gameboy emulator way back like in 96 about. EE was a great game. I love it till this day. Irrational Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Earliest recollection was Doom and dig-dug on my Windows 95 system. Either that or pinball/minesweeper.
shyguy92 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Back in grade school I had actual neighbor hood friends and one of them was asian and he introduced me to PC gaming at his house and the 1st PC game and genre of gaiming he hooked me on to was. . . "Red Alert 2", and the other C&C games on PC like Tiberiume sun enstuff, we would stay up all night doing silly thing with the crazy Ivan unit to strap TNT bundles to fast moving units I.E the Terror drone and we would just sucide bomb and enemy AI's base. To us back then that was funny and I couldn't do that sort of stuff on a N64/ sega DC/ or PS2. And yes I still have the C&C CDs before EA touched it and wreaked it.
