It's not really required, but you have to intimately know how things work. Actually a lot of the required stuff isn't, but for new folks, or the lazy, it makes it easier to get setup & running.

Maybe  can solve the problem WITHOUT updating the game? My version is 163 and what I hear about NG cannot be called positive reviews. In addition, there are many requirements, the main one of which is updating the game and F4SE, this means updating all mods and losing non-updated mods. As a result, everything will break and I will have to start the game again.

I neglected to create a modlist and load order of my old 1.10.163 stable build before I drove myself insane trying to wrestle the NG version into stability.

 

I've given up on trying to make the NG version stable and rolled back to version 1.10.163 but soon I might need to shop around for a straightjacket IRL.

 

Is anyone out there with a 1.10.163 stable build willing to share a copy of their modlist with version ids and load order?

I wouldn't update the game. NG is total shite.

Just use the 163 versions and you're good to go.

Yes, I have made mistakes many times with updating something and now before updating I read reviews and problems. I understand that NG is a sandwich with shit. And the fact that 163 is the latest stable version. 

But what should I do to return strap-ons and 3 lesbians?

They tell me “you need UAP”, but it requires “Buffout 4”, “Address Library for F4SE Plugins xSE”, “PluginPreloader F4” and for this you need the NG version which I don’t want to install.  This brings up the question: is it possible to solve my problem without updating?

Buffout 4 works on both versions.

The others have older versions... so there's your fix.

For example, I haven't used UAP in a while and haven't had a problem yet. I'm also not limited by waiting for a new version whenever some new animations come out.

You don't need NG either, you just use the versions that are made for the version you are running, all those still have "pre-NG" versions.  It even says so, and some also work regardless of version.

 

I also did this a while ago to my version and playing fine on without the newest update.

I'm just using that one so I can go ahead and finish out achievements whenever I feel like.

 

Plus, you HAVE to have pre-NG for Fallout London atm.

 

So, just install all the stuff manual tells you to, it's all compatible with pre-NG and NG.

All of them are, and when you go to Nexus it says in the file descriptions what versions they are for or if they are for both/all versions....

I would recommend using the link to the discord channel and then following intructions there. They have the latest AAF and you will get a faster response

I'm having issues with AAF animations. Every time I enter an animation, my body slides just default to the base CBBE body. Is there any way to fix this? I've tried using Unique Player Body to fix this issue but it hasn't worked. It did work on one occasion however, I had to redo everything due to a male body issue and can't remember what I did differently for that session. Now I just can't get it to work for the life of me. Either, just pay attention and download the version that matches your game.

Also, I'd really recommend NAF instead of AAF. Faster and you can use whatever mods you want without it randomly breaking your game because of false positive Bootleg mods.

What are all male penises as long as their torso and deformed to such a degree?  The over penetration is on the absurd side, so I am sure I am missing something. I thought I read that using ZaZOut4 with the ZeX - ZaZ Extended Skeleton causes this problem, but I cannot verify it for sure.

It says.

- Compatible with Existing Animation Packs: NAF is designed so that animation packs made for AAF can be dropped into NAF and used seamlessly.

I dont believe it will be 100 percent true but I could be wrong.
