Any way to make this guide work with NAF? As of posting this, AFF only works on an older version of the game. I tried using NAF and NAF Bridge in place of AFF while following the guide but that didn't seem to do much.

Just for your info, the latest version of AAF works on the NG.

 

I suggest that you downgrade your game though.

I got BT3 but there's no ESP or ESL in the mod, it just has meshes and textures. does anyone have or know where i can get the ESP or ESL to BodyTalk so i can put in in my plugin?

Try redownloading the mod, I'll hazard a guess it's a corrupted download.

I tried re downloading the mod. i even found a older version on reddit and Nope, nothing, no ESP file in the download at all.

Not sure if anyone else has experieced this. I just today setup another persons mo2 for AAf and animations and using FG and BT3 during each test run Nate was limp noodle. So I reinstalled everything three different times.Then I remembred on my machine Im running looks menu 1.6.18... So I installed that version now Ol nate is hard each animation. Not sure if thats the actual cause but it has fixed the ED on both machines. I am also running pre update version of the game on both machines. too many mods installed on to not be able to play how I like to. Maybe that will help some of you with BT3 ED.

Just FYI, I had been playing on the next-gen previously and I had it working for the most part (lieto and atomic lust only packs that worked). However, it only worked with bodyslide off. When I orginally downloaded it, I had pretty much the same issue with it always being flaccid. Right now, due to the issues with next-gen I downgraded https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81630. Every other feature such as the dialogue scenes/cutscenes of AAF seems to be working properly (have violate as well). It's only this one issue. Any help would be appreciated.

messed around with it some more and was able to several of them seem to be working fine. The ones that don't work are any of the carry or powerbomb positions, as well as one of the cowgirl. maybe something with the angle? 

 

 

try using looksmenu 1.6.18 version see if that works for you

It keeps saying "LL FP plugin not installed: aborting" something along those lines. I'm going crazy here. Done everything through Vortex and everything looks good. My AAF is at 80% only still.

Stuck at 80% usually means wrong aaf version for game version you are using.

Please rename this entire guide to the "FO4 Coom Guide" because I cannot use this guide considering I like to install updated Quality of Life mods for a better experience, and this guide makes it completely impossible to do so without checking some compatibility list out there. 

 

Yes, nobody who uses this site ACTUALLY updates their mods. You can point at the exceptions, but that doesn't mean they will actually comply . 

 

Ultimately, FO4 is just like Starfield in that there's nothing the modders can do to make it a good game, but some people remember the glory of Interplay and want to believe that it still SOMEHOW exists and so they have to try. FO4 and Starfield are exactly the same. There's nothing modders can do to make it good, only more woke.

Adult modding is NOT for the faint hearted. It's a serious pain in the arse, especially for noobs.

But, once up and running, you can install damn near any "quality of life" mods you want. You can even install overhauls.

 

So kick your frustration to the curb and take things 1 step at a time, skip the AAF part and install NAF/Bridge or here as instructed, then continue on. You'll also need to grab some corrected xml's. But I suggest learning how to do it yourself, as that will greatly help you in the future and you'll gain a much better understanding of how they work. I'd even venture to say you'll even be making your own mashup versions. It's actually surprisingly easy!

Funny how I can follow a Lover's Lab guide to modding Skyrim with zero issues, but when it comes to FO4, everyone here is a fucking moron. 

 

I'm just gonna wait until NAF bridge gets updated for NG. None of you have a guide to NAF, and considering how the forums cannot troubleshoot to save their lives, it honestly just reveals a power hungry structure just like reddit. It's sad that no one is actually paying any of you to do what you do.

 

And you might take down "The Fucking Manual" or edit it so that no one can use it to work with NAF, but there are already so many workarounds (and screenshots) to them to the point that it's not even funny anymore. Spite is humanity's most powerful emotion. The bridge will be completed, and you fuckers will never drink in the frustration of someone like me ever again.

Hey, there ^^ I got a bit of a problem, and don't really know how to go about it lol.

 

So I downgraded my Fallout by downloading the archives from the steam console, followed the guide (and I actually read and thought what I was doing lol), but the game kept crashing when launching. Didn't use any ,,don't use'' mods, got Buffout 4 and all that, and still didn't work for me. (I don't have logs, after few times I malded and uninstalled the game and went crying lol)

 

So I'm wondering what's the issue here, either I'm just stupid and did something wrong, of just Todd hates me that much. 

 

Also, how ya'll think, should I downgrade the game, or stay on the current version ? I tried the new one, but the ocbpc and mcm thingies didn't work, so yeaa.

 

If anyone have some advices/suggestions I'd love to read them. I'm an idiot, and can't mod for a life of me : (  Also I'm using Vortex, couse seeing MO2 makes me panic lol

The best course of action is to stay on the preNG version. There are wayy to many bugs in the "NG" version and not every mot is ported yet (and may not be ported at all).

Mmm, make sure to read their rules/terms section. There's gonna be place to click the reaction, that will say that you read it and agree. It will open all the channels ^^

mmm, okiee thank you ^^. Tho I'm assuming the best way to downgrade it is to do it though the Steam console thingy, right ? Since I downloaded the ,,full'' version, with the update.

 

Also ngl, the thought of downloading all the correct versions of all the mods makes me wanna yeet myself out of the window lol. Life of a gooner do be rough : (

There is a #Term  section indeed. I didn't see a Read and Approve button, so I tried to Like or Check mark it, but after several attempts all I get is an error message "We appreciate your enthusiasm, but your reaction was not added because there are too many reactions on this message"! 

 

But after clicking around I did see that one comment that says to click on the Nuclear explosion in the #Rules section and that opened all the channels. It took me another bunch of clicking around and then I found the file in #aaf_public_release.

 

All set ... for now... until I crash the game and come back whining Haha
