Is the mod compatible with TTW?

I can't get any hookups even though i set the multiplier to 5 and had a charisma of 10 (tried for 10 minutes). Teleported myself to the Ultra Luxe and got two hookups in 3 minutes.

Ok, I wasted more than 200 Mb of hard disk space installing SCR and then this SexoutHookup.

At first it seems interesting if my char is the one to propose but ...

 

1. It is supposed that NPCs approach the Player for sex?  If so, well, it NEVER happens.

 

2. It is supposed that NPCs approach my female companions like Cass?  Exactly the same as above.

 

Various infos:

- I have TTW 3.2.2 and I was already sure that SH doesn't work in the FO3 environment but I was hoping for FPNV at least.

- SexoutSexLite works like a charms in every location/NPC so my Sexout installation is good.

-I have all required xNVSE, Extender, Jiip pluins and more.

- Another mod from here (Sexout Loverbed) works ULTRA fine everywhere!

- Also Unethical Deeds (for the Companions sex part, the only one I use) works fine in both Wastelands.

 

So, in the end, it seems that Hookup works ONLY in the Mojave and ONLY by willing. No NPC approaches at all, for me. Any idea?

Version what i have checks  if sexual orientations are compatible (between 'initiator' and 'target', provided 'target' is not wearing some of 'prostitute'-like outfits), and also you can tune 'charisma multiplier' mcm-setting (the higher = the frequent hookups). Btw my expirience is single-sided, for i play only female characters (since my second char in Morrowind ;).

UPD interesting thing that if I rename this variable to something new (while1 as example) everywhere wnere it needed, it saves normally. And as I saw in NVSE guide, "while" is command itself (as I understood for versions 4 and later) and maybe because of it NVSE cannot compile it. I suggest that this issue because of mod is extremely outdated. So if I just change this variable to new one - will mod work?

 

UPD2 Yep, google gave me the answer, script is outdated and using wrong syntax for new NVSE and Sexout versions. http://git.loverslab.com/prideslayer/sexout/issues/3  As I understood, mod sould not work ingame as it is with new NVSE and SNG. :D

Anybody know if this Male PC version of the mod was posted anywhere?

Some time ago i had mentioned one of tweaked version of SexoutHookupsAlt, which i was using.
Recently i got some free time and found quite a few ☹️ errors in it's scripts (mainly in approach\selection part). This mod version has a long history of "modifying", and those errors were possibly made by me (or somebody other), long after the original mod' author leaved it. Hope i fixed all of them, but result is far from perfect though, and i believe some additional improvements possibly required (namely, in approach chance calculation, and in dialogue topics logic\ordering).

Some of last tweaks are:

* frequency of approach now depends on many factors (not only Charisma, but also clothing evaluation, chems\lust effects for both pickuper and target, health and karma for pickuper, and also their mutual Threat Ratio);
* approach setting in MCM is not just multiplier for Charisma, but it deals with resulting chance of approach attempt (probability is square function of value, so setting 7 means 49%, and setting 9 means 81% success);
* "gift" theme is expanded to sexual items\clothing (based on corresponding SCR formlist), instead of Beer (cause i think it's too cheap);
* rough PC answers could be followed by rape or killing attempts;
* supermutants are allowed as pickupers (and they have significantly more chance for aggressive reactions);
* if pickuper's target is engaged in other sex act, pickuper's timer will be frozen for that time;
* player's sex orientation\preference will be ignored, if her\his outfit "looks like prostitute" (SCR formlist);
* teammates could be pickuped only if they are following PC -- AND are near her;
* any approaches are disabled if PC has weapon drawn, or is sneaking, or some aggressive actors are near;
* pickupers factions MCM filters do that without checking if corresponding whore_mods are loaded (cause i use none of them);

 (UPD! features i forgot to mention)

* pickuper's rate is maximal at midnight and lineary decreases to noon (about 10 times max);

* pickuper's rate is divided by player's equipment summary DamageThreshold;

So nice to see this getting updated. Old mods need love too, thank you! I'll give it a try later and give some feedback.

EDIT: Maybe @DoctaSax could add it to the OP so this update doesn't get lost in the threads.

Can do.

I notice clothing eval can be a factor, does this then mean that the plugin requires SCR as a dependency, or is it a soft requirement?

Also, I seem to have fucked up a bit in uploading the new version in that I didn't mean to remove the previous one - anyone have it?

Sure ( i believe SCR is required part of current Sexout?). And, sorry, i didn't mentioned it - but  clean save  really would be best solution for smooth switching from other Hookups version (main questscript was heavily edited and new variables were added).

Also this version have many leftover console messages (which could irritate somebody); but some of them can help to "measure" approachers rating (numbers near "pickuper" show current actor's "rating" vs current "threshold").

 

+updated prev.post with couple comments on those version features.

Just tried this out, the file has the incorrect extension, you put the "." in the wrong place ^^"
Easy enough to fix for anyone.
However, upon loading up the game with this mod activated, I can't seem to interact with the MCM menu, it shows up in the list, but when I click on it, it's empty. Any idea what's happened with that?

So this mod was working was fine and I was getting hookups constantly. But then something happened and well I am getting this in console. If I am not wrong I had seen some values

earlier instead of nan over there. It just randomly refuses prior to any interaction, is it because of dt value ? And questions about the spunk error from my research its due to the xp perk and I am already level 50.

So, we have HookUps console message like that:
"soHookUps: pickuper(0.09 of -nan(ind)), refused."

And parts of script responsible for this console message output are:

..we have two variables, defined as "value with floating point", and simple output both of them with precision cut to 2 digits after decimal point.

And -nan(ind) means "wrong number", for example it could be result from attempt to divide something by zero.

I can not see anything what could bring maxLimit to this state.. :(
 ..except version what it could "inherit" such "non-value" from external NX_variables (such as "SOD:fLustOh", "SOD:fAlcohol", "SO:Lust")

TL;DR  should you try following: save your game to some new slot, then go to MCM and set HookUps' setting "Approach" to 0  (like switch it OFF), then wait in game (just walk or look around) for 4-11 seconds,  then set that "Approach" to something between 5 and 8 (what sets medium approach rate between 30 and 60 percents), and save your game to some OTHER new slot (remember it's name as something like "Testing"), then play some time after that. It should reset most of script variables.
Also i'd suggest to go into Spunk' MCM settings and (temporarily) disable its "perks" and "experience" features for some testing time. I don't know curren Spunk situation, but some time ago it's Author recommended something like that for people who got their sex stats weird (like un-ending after-sex penalties and debuffs).
