soldier321 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 We have several rape mods. Making Hookups more rape-like completely defeats the purpose of this mod. Â One can never have too many rape mods
theskid Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I'd actually like to see this changed up a bit so that depending on charisma ratings and such you'd be able to offer gifts/caps to other wasters for sex, more from a male perspective here.
RDKateran Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 The only thing I'd like to see in Hookups is the ability to decline more politely. Your options if they make incentive offers are "Bitchy" and "Even more bitchy" and either of them can get you raped.
Dave Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 One question, about reward. Is there any "whore skill level", or you will always get ~12 caps per sex, not matter your stats, lv, npc job, etc?
astor Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 My toon has never been raped by this mod regardless of karma/charisma or whatever modifier determines such a thing. Â A nicer way to decline would be nice, but I always assumed the lack of rape was just a bug with the plugin. Â /shrug
KainsChylde Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 The chance of rape is, I believe, determined by equipment and stats. A character with high strength, high DT armor, and a good weapon is less likely to be raped than a weakling in pre-war clothes carrying a knife.
iron_jack Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Does it bother anyone else that [Hookup for sex] appears in every dialog? 'Cause that's an easy fix I've already done for myself, I could throw it up here if desired.
RDKateran Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 IIRC, the "hookup for sex" dialogue was itself a workaround/fix for people approaching at inopportune times in-game, such as when whoring via Tryout Working Girl (which, I can confirm, doesn't work still).
RDKateran Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Approaches during scripted events could break said scripted events.  The biggest issue was with Tryout Working Girl, as approaching clients during the casino whoring would instead trigger the Hookups dialogue, thus overriding any gains from Working Girl. Which is still happening anyway.
jaam Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Is'nt there a check mark for that in MCM ? If I remember correctly it's off by default (because it was introduced later than the others). Â
RDKateran Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 There's check boxes for certain factions, and for it not occur while actively whoring, which I've utilized. It still fails, at least in the automatic fuck segments of Working Girl, because it keeps triggering the dialogue during the actor's approach.

RDKateran Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I disabled it and reattempted it in a new game, and still got customers with Working Girl working properly. Just very few customers for the Courier and Sunny, in comparison to Veronica and to a lesser extent Cass.

Â
sure63 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 For some reason, my female character is never approached, in spite of Cha 7. Anyone has an idea why that is? Â Also, I'd like to clean up the dialogue. There's some spelling errors and it would be nice with some variation. I don't know how to do it, but I certainly wouldn't mind writing the dialogue, if some else would be willing to actually implement it.
theskid Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 In the hookups version out there now, approaches only work if you are wearing clothes with no armor values. This means no armor, no matter how skimpy, has to be 0 DT. Not sure if it checks DR. It would be nice if it could instead be set to monitor the sexout clothing lists where you set slutty clothing and skimpy armor, but it does not do that in my experience.

Thanks.
zippy57 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Due to the issues regarding list function errors breaking scripts, there are no plans to expand Hookups to use any of the SCES lists at this time.
theskid Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Sad news...perhaps the dt value could be tweaked from 0 to maybe 4 to 6? That would allow approaches with many light armors like leather and raider types, a lot of vanilla clothing types that have minimal dt, and tons of mod added armors (Jonas's Kristina's Closet comes to mind, as a favorite of mine;) that are quite skimpy but offer only minimal protection, without having to carry around a set of "hooker clothing" to use when the mood strikes you. Â I'm not sure how to change the values myself, as my experience with modding is essentially using FNVedit to muck about with values, but I wouldn't no where to look for this one or even if it is possible without using the geck.
jaam Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 You can also revert to just excluding Power armors like originally.
zippy57 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 The way I see it there are five options.  1. Remain as is 2. Increase DT threshold to 4 3. Exclude only Power Armor 4. MCM toggle for approaches on/off 5. Always on, if you don't want it deactivate the plugin  So which is the preferred choice?
RDKateran Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I'd say a combination of 2 and 4 would be best.  And maybe the "polite" decline dialogue options to be tweaked so they actually are polite. In all of the versions I've tried, Hookups' two refusal choices came off as "Bitchy" and "Bitchier."
theskid Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Increasing the threshold, or mcm toggle...hard to decide;). I like the idea of an mcm toggle now that it has been offered.
zippy57 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I'll replace the dialogue if someone writes the dialogue I'm replacing it with.
